We are just 10 minutes from the I-17 (Lake Pleasant is just a 30-45 minute drive). Phoenix is a close commute, where you will find many more amenities. Rent an off-road vehicle, boat for the lake (or bring yours!), or plan a tour and ENJOY YOUR STAY! We are more than happy to help facilitate your time here.
We welcome pets, but do note there are occasional encounters with neighborhood dogs and plenty of wildlife. For their safety, best to keep them leashed or bring an enclosure. In the future, we plan to provide an enclosure for dogs to safely play and run off-leash.

Right outside our entrance going North on 80th Street you can hike over to the Grapevine Wash which is a short walk away from the Cave Creek Town Trail System for hiking and horseback riding, and if you’re adventurous you can hike up 2 miles of a 800’ climb on a gravel road/trails to “Mexican Hat” for an even more incredible view! We are a 30 amp full hook up (sewer, water & electrical) for 33’ RV’s and living quarters horse trailers. You will also have access to our community laundry area, with a large garbage can to dump a bag if needed.
Some suggestions for town; Grab some quick delicous breakfast and coffee at Janey’s. Or American cuisine lunch at The Horny Toad, a Mexican cuisine dinner while watching the turtles in the pond at El Encanto! Ofrenda, right at the end of the road, also has great authentic Mexican cuisine. Many restaurants to choose from all within a short drive. Bashas, Safeway, Target, and Walmart and Sprouts are all within a 3-6 mile drive too!
We have two turnout pens for horses. That are located right behind where you will park your trailer. They both have a cover that provides some shade, as well as running water. We do not provide any feed, so please make sure you bring some! We ask that you please do not feed any horses that do not belong to you. Or go into any pen that your horse is not in. For safety and respect :) Thank you in advance.

We offer Communal Spaces with restroom, grill, table, other seating with larger fire-pit. Feel free to visit our horses, chickens or hike our beautiful trails right from the property.
Enjoy the horses, the stars at night and our neighboring coyotes sing if you are lucky.

All three Saguaro sites provide full RV services (water, electrical, and 30/50 amp hookups) with plenty of space between for enjoyment of the views. Boondocker sites are great for easy in-out dry camping, making for an early start for your trip out of town. Driving paths are covered with gravel throughout the property. Boondocker 2 is by currently closed for renovations.
We are just 10 minutes from the I-17 (Lake Pleasant is just a 30-45 minute drive). Phoenix is a close commute, where you will find many more amenities. Rent an off-road vehicle, boat for the lake (or bring yours!), or plan a tour and ENJOY YOUR STAY! We are more than happy to help facilitate your time here.
We welcome pets, but do note there are occasional encounters with neighborhood dogs and plenty of wildlife. For their safety, best to keep them leashed or bring an enclosure. In the future, we plan to provide an enclosure for dogs to safely play and run off-leash.

Right outside our entrance going North on 80th Street you can hike over to the Grapevine Wash which is a short walk away from the Cave Creek Town Trail System for hiking and horseback riding, and if you’re adventurous you can hike up 2 miles of a 800’ climb on a gravel road/trails to “Mexican Hat” for an even more incredible view! We are a 30 amp full hook up (sewer, water & electrical) for 33’ RV’s and living quarters horse trailers. You will also have access to our community laundry area, with a large garbage can to dump a bag if needed.
Some suggestions for town; Grab some quick delicous breakfast and coffee at Janey’s. Or American cuisine lunch at The Horny Toad, a Mexican cuisine dinner while watching the turtles in the pond at El Encanto! Ofrenda, right at the end of the road, also has great authentic Mexican cuisine. Many restaurants to choose from all within a short drive. Bashas, Safeway, Target, and Walmart and Sprouts are all within a 3-6 mile drive too!
We have two turnout pens for horses. That are located right behind where you will park your trailer. They both have a cover that provides some shade, as well as running water. We do not provide any feed, so please make sure you bring some! We ask that you please do not feed any horses that do not belong to you. Or go into any pen that your horse is not in. For safety and respect :) Thank you in advance.

Sacred Springs is truly one of those places that stays with your heart long after you leave. From the moment I arrived, I felt wrapped in peace, love, and nature’s magic. Being able to cook a meal in the community room made everything feel so homey and special — like gathering with family in the middle of the wilderness.
One of my favorite moments was getting to use the kayaks and paddle boards on the lazy river and in the grotto. Floating through that serene canyon water felt like stepping into a hidden paradise. And don’t even get me started on the fresh organic chicken eggs — absolutely delicious and such a beautiful touch of farm-to-table love!🍳
I also couldn’t resist the adorable Sacred Springs hat and sweatshirt — they’re not just cute, they feel like a little piece of this magical place I get to take home with me.🥰

Ash Creek is a unicorn for remote camping on the edge of the Tonto National Forest. Andrew and his son offered us a tour of the canyon and we got to see all the views and learn about the history of the mining operations. The campsite we chose was flat and clean and the clearing was surrounded but trees and steep cliffs. With no light pollution, the night sky looked amazing and the sound of the creek created a nice ambience. We brought our own firewood but there were plenty of loose branches if you prefer to forage. I wish we had booked for more time here, because there is a lot to see and do, including hikes and mine exploration. I had no issues driving around in my Subaru Outback but would recommend reaching out about road conditions beforehand since some of the paths can be narrow or washed out. I don’t get to camp often but hope to be a repeat customer at Ash Canyon.

Sacred Springs is truly a hidden gem. Gary and Daren are amazing hosts and have done a wonderful job with making it a great a experience. You get a nice outdoors experience while also having some basic amenities like showers and a community kitchen. Daren is also extremely kind and helpful. I would highly recommend people to come and stay at Sacred Springs!

I love that I can car camp there and feel safe as a solo female out on an adventure, I love the whole vibe there , with the flushable toilets and spacious shower.. The property is Amazing and a piece of Heaven to me!! Can’t wait to come back . Thank you Gary and Daren for my Reset !

Palo Verde Retreat was absolutely beautiful—peaceful, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. The site was thoughtfully set up with a table and seating area, making it easy to settle in and feel comfortable right away. The host even had lights strung up around the space, which I’m sure looked lovely at night… although I have to admit, I fell asleep before dark and didn’t get to enjoy them!
Overall, it was a wonderful place to unwind and disconnect. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a calm, restful stay.

We had the BEST time camping at Ash Creek Canyon. It’s truly hard for me to find words or sum up our trip in a short paragraph. To put it simply, it feels like we only saw the tip of the iceberg as far as exploration goes in Chrysotile. We cannot wait to go back and learn and explore some more. Our stay was magical. Andy was a top-notch host, super accommodating with speedy correspondence, and truly just a pleasure to be around. His enthusiasm, love and awe for this land shined bright. He showed us around all of the land reachable via side-by-side and gave us a grand tour on the history of the abandoned mining town. There is so much to uncover there. Not only was the history fascinating, but the scenery was BEAUTIFUL… truly enchanting. We camped at site #2, Waterfall Pasture. We were perfectly secluded from other campers and felt like we had the whole area to ourselves.. which was great as we were camping with our two young daughters and three dogs (a rather loud bunch). We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway, and cannot wait to come back. THANK YOU ANDY!

The campground was so beautiful. It was very private, had a decent amount of space from other campsites. There was a nice amount of trees/ greenery. The bathroom was clean. Laura was so friendly and very kind. We didn’t have enough time to walk down to the creek but we’re definitely planning on going back and check it out.
