Property has been in the same family for 150 yrs. The farmhouse is 105 yrs and three generations of the same family still live there. There is a barn that has one bed on what was the hay loft. The space is large and sleeping bags or hammocks can be used to accommodate up to a total of 5 adults. Space is not safe for children under the age of 12. Located on 24 acres of woods which are protected on the Georgia Land Conservancy. Lots of space for tents, small RVs and campfires. There are no hook ups, but we can accommodate self-contained vehicles of any size. Outdoor porta potty. Cooking on firepit in the rear. Pizza delivery available and several restaurants within a short drive. Choice within a short drive of whitewater, hiking, rock climbing, sky diving, sightseeing. If you are interested in more indoor entertainment, Chattanooga has many museums, art galleries, musical events and fall festivals. There is something for everyone. Grocery store and service station are located nearby. We are only 10 miles from downtown Chattanooga. World class rock climbing, white water, kayaking, mountain biking, hiking, hunting, and the list goes on and on; All within only short drives. Use as central, quiet, beautiful rural pitstop.
