There is world class mountain biking trails accessible across the road from our property. You can also enjoy a beautiful nature walk up to the summit of Mount Cotton which has breathtaking views out to Moreton bay and to the Glass House Mountains. Your hosts recommend taking a picnic lunch and making the most of your time at the top. We are 15 minutes drive from the Venman Bushland National Park which has two excellent walking trails where you can spot a huge array of wildlife. Daisy Hill Conservation Park is also a short drive away which is a great spot for a picnic, has more great mountain bike trails, BBQ area and beautiful walking tracks. We are also close to Sirromet Winery which is great for wine tasting and sometimes has great events on. Campfires are permitted but must be kept in a fire pit/drum and must be outside of restrictions. Pets are welcome. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Some cattle tracks for the kids to ride along in the paddock also. -Wivenhoe, Somerset Dam in the area for water sports -Wildlife watching, this paddock sustains a large variety of native animals, if you’ve got a keen eye -Bottle Tree pub is just down the road, - bit more than walking distance tho :) -Take it easy.

We are in close proximity to Woodford making it a fantastic spot to stay for events like the Woodford rodeo, show and folk festival.
