Close to everything! 5 acre property, 30 mins from airport, 5 mins to Cleveland and Stradbroke ferry, 15 mins to Sleeman Aquatic Centre and Belmont Shooting Complex. 3 large grassed sites Easy access to public transport - 200m to bus stop, 3km to train station Only one site has bathroom access, Hillhead. One acre dog enclosure available for friendly dogs. Large grassed areas among gum trees, set high so there are sea breezes in summer. Lots of birdlife, with kookaburras, galahs, curlews, cockatoos and lorikeets nesting on site, you will meet our friendly magpie and butcherbirds too. We are in a koala zone and occasionally get visitors during breeding season, and there's been a few wallaby sightings recently. We have a small hobby farm with chickens and ducks. We also have a goat, native bees, a worm farm and an aquaponics system Plenty of local activities and events. Too many to list! Beaches, bush and city stuff too The closest activity is the mini-golf at Alexandra Hills Hotel and Conference Centre. The hotel is very handy for breakfast, lunch or dinner if you don't feel like cooking. Family friendly and reasonably priced. There is a playground for kids and a bottle shop. Defibrillator on property. Fire extinguishers on site. Farm Fresh Eggs Available...... Emergency Department 4.5 km away at Redlands Hospital.

We had a very nice evening camped here in spite of the rain. It’s a great location for jumping off or returning to Straddie via ferry. Close enough to Brisbane Centre for a night out too. Paula is a lovely hostess, very friendly and welcoming, we and the kids felt like it was our home. Paula’s friendly dogs were a great hit with our boys as was the fun garden, playground and chooks. This site has use of a very nicely presented bathroom which is a great feature. Thanks Paula for 2 great nights.

The host were friendly and accommodating, great to have a campfire, only thing was the bathroom lock was a bit stiff.

Lovely owner, Paula was friendly and helpful. We were trying our camper out for the first time and this worked perfectly. Being close to the shops was very helpful for us, but we still had a lovely spot to camp under the trees. Was great to have all the kids and dog welcomed and my son’s favourite part of the whole weekend was getting to hold a chicken.
