This campground was a breath of fresh air for campgrounds in the area. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I love that they are letting the forest grow between campsites rather than just squeezing in as many spots as they can. It was a great stay, would definitely recommend.

The owners were very kind. The shower and potable water access was great. The camp ground was clean. It was a great location to explore Olympic.
Loved that there were hot showers available and the camp site was very clean. The owners were friendly and the free WiFi was very helpful. Very cute campsite in a pretty great location.
Dale is a welcoming host and had good communication with us prior to our stay. We had an rv spot with hookups and everything worked great. The Wi-Fi wasn’t the best but it didn’t matter to us. Dale was nice enough to deactivate a motion light that was shining on our evening gathering.
We only stayed the one night, it was nice.

Friendly hosts and a nice location! My friend's son tried the outdoor shower and he said it was "life changing!" Which means the water was nice and hot after a day spent outdoors. They also have a regular bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet. If there's a line up to use it, there are places to sit and if you're lucky, the camp cat, Ginger may come by and keep you company!

Wonderful grounds. Very pretty. Twinkle lights and banana slugs at night were a plus! WiFi is available through tent sites closest to main house. Portable toilet nearest us was not useable but the main restroom was. Sometimes there was a short wait for those showering. Everyone was very polite and courteous. Dale and his partner were very welcoming, kind, and helpful for tips about hiking. We will be back again.

Really nice camp grounds! Very clean and great location. You can hear the road, but it didn’t bother us at night.

The camp was extremely convenient for our backpacking trip to the South Olympic Coast section. The sites were very private and had plenty of space. There aren’t that many sites so it didn’t feel crowded at all. The only drawback was the road noise from the nearby highway. It was busier than I expected.

Dale was an awesome host. Was right there to greet us when we came in and see us off when we left. He has a beautiful place, tucked away in the rainforest perfectly located between all the main attractions and things to do while in the northwest corner of Washington. Whether you’re there for Olympic national Park, just hanging out on the northern beaches and collecting seashells or a fan of twilight (filmed in Forks 8 miles away) there is no shortage of things to do. My family and I spent almost a week there and could’ve spent another week.
The only small negative I would say if it even matters is that the Wi-Fi was a little spotty. But then again if you’re on vacation you need to just unplug anyways.

It was a lovely campsite! The sites are far enough from each other that we enjoyed the privacy. Very nice host, very helpful.
This site is great for a number of reasons: very friendly and knowledgeable hosts, hot showers, flush toilets, wifi,’charging station for electronics, and location near the gorgeous La Push beaches. The sites themselves aren’t as beautiful as some of the public campsites near by and you can hear road traffic - but the more remote sites don’t have all the amenities.
So for a base from which to explore, recharge and get a nice hot shower, this place can’t be beat. If you are looking to lounge around at your actual campsite deep in the forest, this isn’t the best. I would 100% recommend it for a stop over though! Also very dog friendly, which was nice. And the host even told me about a beautiful campsite up 101 for the next night.

Nice camping place! The tent areas were kinda private surrounded by bushes. Common areas like bathroom and showers were clean. Totally recommend!
The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our tent spot, even though the campsites were all full it was not loud and we felt like we had our own space. The outdoor shower was a nice addition. The location was near many great places to explore.
Great spot. We love visiting the nearby beaches and traveling into the National park. Everything was just as stated in the description. Friendly host and a very cute cat. Single indoor bathroom could be busy at times, but there were outhouses that were clean.
Beautiful land with SUPER conveniences such as hot shower (indoor and outdoor) and flushable indoor toilet, and Satellite WiFi. There was even a table with a power box to charge our devices located by the outdoor shower. Minor note ~road noise was somewhat consistent, but you got used to it. The hosts were gracious and great communicators!
Dale's spot was absolutely adorable and very well put together! We ended up needing last minute tent camping accommodations and happened upon Dale's spot to our relief! Very gracious host, comfortable set up where you arent on top of each other while camping. Running water and a flushable toilet are always welcome luxuries while camping and he also provides two showers and other porta-potties closer to your camp sites! Would absolutely recommend this spot and would visit here again!
Dale was a very kind, accommodating, and responsive host. His land clearly had a lot of love poured into it -- handcrafted fences, site signs, and a clean/spacious hot outdoor shower. We had no issue finding the place and found it clean, safe, and quiet. If you want a private site I recommend arriving as soon as check-in begins as only 4 of the 12 sites are what I would consider private. Two areas of growth for the space are that the port-a-potty nearest to us was incredibly full & desperately in need of an empty. It was also out of hand sanitizer. On top of that, I do not believe a sweep of the site is done after campers leave as we found bits of plastic and kids' stickers scattered at our site. Be a good guest and sweep your site for trash when you go! The potable water/dish washing area was clean and lit with twinkly lights, and the location of this camp was stellar. We are very appreciative that this site exists because it made a last minute camping trip to Forks possible since all the state parks were sold out. We would stay here again happily.
This place is really incredible. Carefully designed to experience private camp with access to bathrooms, hot showers, and an extremely kind host, Dale.
Tent camping is first come first serve and there really aren’t any “bad” spots. They’re perfect for tent camping, with a level gravel pad, clean tables, and a fire pit. It rained all night and it sounded like we’d wake up in a puddle but the tree canopy really keeps you covered.
There’s also a section for RVs/ campers that was also private with similar amenities as the tent camping area.
There were really good vibes at this property. Hard to explain but serene is a good word to start with.
It’s close to second beach, third beach, La push, and Forks! Easy to get there, easy to check in— we will be back.
Great site! Dale was a great host and really helped us with our first RV adventure! He made sure our hookups were correct and helped us when we had trouble with a leaky water connection. The sites were nice and private. You don’t reserve a specific site, which is good and bad. The first night we came in a little later in the evening and that site sas less private and closer to the road, but people are coming in and out and Dale was ok with us staking out another site for the next two nights. Be sure to leave some things at your site if you want to keep it. We didn’t use the bathroom or shower, but did tent campers that’s nice to have and we heard from other campers it was nice. They don’t have an RV dump, but we went to Mora campground, which is less than an 10 min drive, and dumped for $10. We loved the convenience of the area, which was about a 15 min drive to the main area of Forks and about 10-15 minutes from the beaches in LaPush. Rialto Beach is closed right now, but would be convenient for there too. Also, a good spot to drive out and explore the rest of the park areas. Would definitely book again.

Sites were very spacious, facilities were clean, and host was friendly and hospitable. 11/10 would stay here again.
We stayed in one of Dale’s tent camping sites and it was fantastic! Everything you could need in a campsite is here: fire pit and picnic table at each site, 2 showers, and multiple restrooms. Plus a cute cat!! 100% recommend staying here for close access to Olympic National Park. Thank you Dale!
