Dale has a great setup, and I *really* enjoyed my short stay at his place. Campsites are thoughtfully laid out. All his signage gives necessary information about check-in, bathrooms, wifi, etc., very clearly. The bathroom was very clean. Dale himself is charming, kind, and extremely helpful, both with practical matters and with excellent local information. I was sorry my stay was for only one night and will definitely keep Shangri-La Push in mind for the next time I am in the area. Thanks, Dale!

Dale's Hipcamp was great! It's a short distance from the turnoff to Mora campground. Dale welcomed us and we picked an RV site for our Jeep with rooftop tent. Water spigot and close, but not too close, to the port-a-potty and indoor flush toilet with shower. We paid $10 for a big bundle of wood, and Dale delivered to our campsite. We took a shower in the outdoor shower near the tent sites, and it was great with plenty of hot water. You can hear the traffic from the busy road, but the location is great. It's great to have a backup place for when Mora campground is full. Dale also shared good info about things to do in the area. Campsite was clean with fire ring and picnic table.

The Host Dale is a breath of fresh air especially coming from Tacoma on vacation. Real friendly and knowledgeable. Gave us some great tips of places to visit along with a little history of the area. Would go back tommorow if I didn't have to work

The place is nice and well kept. Some road noise at some sites, but the road isn’t that heavily trafficked. Dale was a fantastic host. There was a mix-up that led to overbooking the sites, and Dale did a great job ensuring we were taken care of. Would recommend.

This space was so private and lovely. The warm bathroom and hot shower was nice. I'll say that wifi really only works when you're close to the main house, so don't rely on it from your campsite. I did bring my Starlink but there were too many trees overhead to get a signal. Either way, this is such a well-maintained and easy to find/ convenient location.

Dale was so kind and put so much care into his campground. He’s really thought of every last detail. He was so helpful with anything and everything we needed. The campground is beautiful, a true taste of the rainforest. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay.

This was our first HipCamp trip (though we are experienced tent campers), and this spot lived up to the hype. I fear the bar is now set too high for other HipCamp locations! This spot is beautiful and most of the tent campsites are quite private. We chose Salmonberry and had the perfect spot for our two tents and plenty of room. It did rain the entire first 24 hours we were there, and the site’s “no mud” claim is mostly accurate - the rock base does a great job off draining the constant PNW rain! There is road noise but we never found in bothersome, even at night with two small children.
The outdoor shower is divine - even in 60ish degree rainy weather this was a favorite among adults and kids in our group. The bathhouse is a great feature as well and we rarely found it occupied, even on a busy holiday weekend.
We arrived the Thursday before a holiday weekend and had the tent campsites entirely to ourselves the first night! It was completely full starting that Friday, but it never felt crowded. All campers were friendly and respectful of quiet hours.
The location is absolutely fantastic for exploring the peninsula. We did the beaches, vampire/werewolves hotspots, and Tree of Life. We had a great breakfast at Rivers Edge in La Push, some great Mexican food in Forks (which also had a great grocery store), and some amazing milkshakes at Three Rivers cafe. We visit again just for the milkshakes.

Great camping site, really enjoyed our summer stay and the amenities. Very close to La Push and Forks. Super comfy and spacious sites with fire ring and picnic table at each. Glad we brought our sleeping pads because the campsites are gravel, but no issues with it otherwise. Bathrooms are clean and host was very friendly.

We loved our stay. What a nice place to rest at the end of long days hiking and beach going. This place is only a few minutes from a few amazing beach stops. Clean bathroom and showers! If we are ever back in this area we hope to enjoy this campground again!

We had an amazing stay at this campground while exploring Olympic National Park. The campsite was clean, spacious, and well maintained,. The surrounding forest was peaceful and beautiful, making it easy to enjoy nature while still having convenient amenities.
One of the biggest highlights was the shower facility. The showers were clean, well maintained, and had hot water, which was incredibly refreshing after spending the day on the trails. Having access to clean restrooms and showers made our camping experience much more comfortable.
Overall, this was one of the best camping experience we've had. We highly recommend this campground to anyone visiting Olympic National Park, whether you're camping for a night or using it as a base to explore the park. We'll definitely stay here again on our next trip!

Dale was the kindest and loveliest host. He had great recommendations, was very flexible and so generous. The site was clean and private and super close to first, second and third beaches and forks. Great launching point. No cell service with our carrier which was a bonus for us ha, and Dale had WiFi that works near the bathroom for getting directions for all the adventures etc. A memorable and great stay. Def recommend.

Shangri La Push was a lovely, well cared for mini campground. We stayed on the RV side of things in a generous sized spot. Clean bathrooms and showers were a bonus! Close to ONP beaches and to Forks.

The host, Dale was charming and informative. However, things seemed a bit disorganize as our site had been taken by another van and we had to come back after the site was sorted out and the other van had moved. It seemed as though he was unaware of our arrival. Since we’d made our reservation weeks ago and communicated our arrival time a couple time over the previous days, it was disappointing.
In general the place was clean and pleasant but a bit shabby. We still had a pleasant stay and Dale was gracious in offering us firewood for our trouble.

Dale is a wonderful host. Very hidden little place. Quiet and loved that there was water and power for our RV. Firewood available that was dry and generous for 20$ a bundle. Can’t wait to come back.
