Beech Grove River Spot
Cameron's land was great! For primitive camping it has great amenities like a picnic table and a clean porta potty. We also loved being by the river as well as the view of the mountains. Keep in mind that the property is surrounded on all sides by roads so taking a shower may need a curtain or something. Also there is some kinds of dog kennel or something up the mountain nearby so you hear a lot of dogs barking on and off. Overall we would def stay again because of its close proximity to Damascus and the fact you get the property to your self makes it an amazing find!

We had a great time in our little meadow! The world slipped away as we sat by the camp fire and stared at the stars at night and watched 1000s of butterflies dance during the day.

What a gorgeous place to spend a few days! Or even longer!! My family and I loved camping here. It is exactly how it’s described and looks in the pictures. Not to mention Cameron being very helpful and timely with his responses. And make sure you check out Damascus while you’re here. Such a cute town! We will with out a doubt back!!

Beech Grove River Spot
This was our 3rd trip to Beech Grove River spot. So glad to find a place close to home away from everyday life. Great place to fish, as the river is right there! There is a great fire ring for all to gather around. Friends went with us to for our weekend getaway and are looking forward to our next time. Cameron it a great host and so happy that she shares her farmland for others to enjoy!

Beech Grove River Spot
What a beautiful, quiet and relaxing site. we have stayed there several times and will go again soon. It is off the beaten path, yet convenient to nearby towns. The site is right on the river with lots of shade trees for fishing.

We loved this spot, with the exception of the dogs barking all night. The location was just as described, with beautiful scenery and great amenities. The dog noise is obviously out of the property owner's control, but it was very disruptive both nights we spent here.

This was the absolute perfect place to camp with our dogs. They ran the pasture, played in the creek, and just explored the whole time. As for us humans, we absolutely loved it and this will become our go-to spot from now on! We’re already planning our next trip!

Great private camping spot! Our first Hipcamp experience and it was a wonderful one. We’d absolutely stay here again. Our dogs loved it. Tons of space. Firewood delivery is very convenient and kind! Thank you for sharing your space with us!

We had a GREAT time at the Beech Grove River Spot! The location was amazing, and the river was the perfect temperature even in the dog days of summer. Bring some floats and a fishing pole- we saw some big fish but caught none ( they were too smart ). The site has a great wash station and a very responsive host. The firewood delivery was 10/10 ( the number is on the gate upon arrival- excellent quality and very nice people)
The only note- the neighbors dogs came to our site- it was not an issue and our dog responded appropriately but It would cause me to pause if I did not have a well trained dog or a dog that was reactive. Bring earplugs.
All that I will be camping here again- cannot beat the convenience of the location and the temperatures!!! ALSO NO BUGS- some bees ( wear shoes and enjoy the buzzing :) Cannot wait to visit again

We loved having the property to ourselves and enjoying the views of the creek and field. We saw deer, otters, and had an amazing firefly light show.
Have to agree with other comments about the dogs on surrounding properties barking through the night, however, we still enjoyed our stay.
Would stay again if we are ever back in the area.

What a great little spot! Was worried about the sun beating on tents right on the field but if you stuff them close to tree line along river they stay shaded enough to keep them cool for sleeping. Was nice having the picnic table and grill on site. The only gripe or word of advice I'd give to people is about the free roaming dogs on the neighboring property. We didn't take our dog and glad we didn't. I was chased down river and neighboring dogs where attacked by them. They stayed on their side of the river but they'd come down their side right across from the camp. They are just doing their job but I'd be cautious about bringing your dogs.

This site was everything we seek in a Hipcamp: you have the site all to yourself, it’s on the water, and there is a portajohn close by to ensure that you’re not going to find something unpleasant from other campers. We enjoyed fishing and letting our dogs live their best lives swimming in the river. The only thing to know before booking is what others have said before, there are nearby dogs that bark ALL night long. You wouldn’t believe they could bark for that many hours straight, but they did. We would still camp here again despite the dogs, just something to be aware of.

BEAUTIFUL campsite on River with gorgeous view of a meadow. Cameron, the host was extremely helpful and as the reviews state there are some dogs that bark but they go away fairly quickly just protecting and doing their job! We had an amazing stay here would definitely come back!!

Nicely kept, mostly level site far apart from other sites. Felt private and safe. Portajohn was very clean. The road is relatively close but not a lot of traffic or noise. The most noise came from the dogs that live up the valley that at times barked incessantly. It was tolerable in my campervan but tent campers beware.

The view of the area is beautiful The port-a-potty is quite a distance from the campsite. There are a lot of neighboring large dogs that are left outside that barked all night and are free to roam around. They came by the campsite before sunrise. There is a lack of privacy on the camp site from the road and the neighbors driveway. The mosquitos were really bad when we went in late April. The farm gate lock is a challenge to open and close as it is old.
