This amazing 50 acre farm is on the State and National Historic Register. Once part of the Milton Bodine land tract, this property has been privately owned for 4 generations. Come explore all Riverside Farm has to offer. **BEST IN NEW YORK 2022 and 2023** Voted Hipcamp #1 place to visit for 2022 *Riverside Farm was granted one of the States first Conditional Adult Use Cannabis Cultivation Licenses and has since formed FlowerHouse NY. The cultivation of New York's first licensed cannabis crops and products are happening offsite, at another location. However Riverside Farm is still an active and working Farm* Follow along @FlowerHouse_ny and @Waldenriversidefarminc This picturesque family farm is conveniently located just 80 miles from both Manhattan and Albany. Riverside Farm offers 1600 feet of direct river access, ponds, rolling meadows and woodlands. You’ll have 50 acres of freedom to enjoy at your leisure. There are convenient walking paths cut throughout the property to help guide you. This listing is for "Site 5" which sits apart from our other campsites. The site is for tents or RVs. It is spacious and private. You have a 12x16 wooden platform to use for your own tent or to relax in two Adirondack chairs. The site has a 2 picnic table to comfortably seat 8 people. This site does not have porta-potty access. You will have a personal camping-style toilet which uses "potty bags" (provided) inside a wooden outhouse. You are responsible for bringing up toilet waste and other garbage to the dumpster. We loved our stay!! Great campsite for setting up tents. Super clean porta potty. Loved the sound of the river while relaxing by the fire and sleeping at night. Great proximity to hiking and lake beaches. Overall great trip and we can't wait to visit again!

Sam & Melissa’s property is beautiful, serene and very nicely maintained. The sites are nicely secluded from one another & ours was perfectly situated under an enormous oak right at the river’s edge. They also were super thoughtful and responsive to our requests for extras (firewood). We have an awesome start of summer camping get away here & will definitely be back and highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay! Being able to park so close to our campsite made unloading all of our gear incredibly easy and convenient. The property is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and exactly what we were looking for to unwind and reconnect with the outdoors. Everything was well maintained, and the setting was quiet, scenic, and relaxing. If you’re looking for a place to enjoy nature without sacrificing convenience, I highly recommend staying here. We’d absolutely love to come back!

I had an amazing stay at Riverside Farm, Site 3. The property is beautiful and very well kept, and the campsites were incredibly clean. I spent my days just sitting right by the river, which was peaceful and perfect for watching so many different kinds of birds. The grounds also feature great mowed paths that made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. It was wonderfully quiet at night, allowing for a great night's sleep. To top it off, the hosts were fantastic; I ordered firewood, and they delivered it right to my site the moment I arrived. I highly recommend this spot for a scenic and relaxing getaway.

My boys and I loved staying here. It's very private and you have a huge site all to yourself with your own river front access. My youngest went swimming in the river and my oldest caught some large catfish. You can occasionally hear trucks on the road across the river but it was barely noticable and didn't detract from the experience. The hosts went above and beyond and delivered us extra firewood on request when we realized we were going to run out. We would definitely come back again.

These campsites are on an incredible piece of hilly, meadow-like land which abuts the shallow, warm, and wide Wallkill River. The whole property is so well maintained, from the driveway to the riverbank, and the campsites are no exception. Great fire pits, clean and stocked portapotty, flat, mulched tenting area, lovely river access. We stayed at Campsite 2. It was a gorgeous spot with amazing river access. Campsites 1, 2, and 3 are semi-private from one another: If you walk up the hill to the bench-swings, you can see all three. You can hear the other campers only if they are loud, but it feels pretty private when everyone is in their campsites. More private than a lot of other sites. I understand campsites 4 and 5 are even more private. The farm fresh eggs were a delicious breakfast. I only wish we stayed another night!

Absolutely beautiful!! We only stayed for an evening but it was magical walking through the mowed paths and relaxing on the swing at the top of the hill. The camp area was clean and directions to our spot were clear. We can’t wait to come again.

We had a great time on the property! The camping spot was clean and felt private despite other groups camping at other sites nearby. The walk around the grounds was nice and the well water was so refreshing!! They dropped off everything shortly after we arrived and we ended up cancelling some plans in town to spend more time hanging out! Will recommend for sure! 👍🏼

I spent a weekend at this riverside campsite with our little one and it was an absolute gem. The site sits right on the water, with a private little riverbank. Plenty of shade from big trees, a soft grassy tent pad, and a great fire pit and picnic table at each site. The sites feel spacious and private without being isolated. Quiet, clean, and genuinely peaceful. Little buggy but bug spray kept them off. Caught an awesome sunset. Hope to be back soon.

The hosts were amazing and the spot was great. The heat was mid 80s when we went so it was HOT and there were a lot of bugs, the hosts gave us tiki torches. The portable toilet was clean. We wish the river was a little cleaner but it is what it is. The only thing that might have been nicer is for the well water to be closer to the site, it was a trek to get to and back with water. Great great spot and hosts!

We loved our time at site 1! It felt incredibly private but Sam & Melissa were always very helpful if we needed something. Sitting down the slope next to the river was a lovely retreat on the hot days we had. The farm fresh eggs were very tasty. Plus the fireflies and stars made each night feel so special!

Camping on Sam and Melissa’s land was amazing! The land itself is beautiful, right along a river, and is the perfect weekend getaway. Sam and Melissa were very organized, communicative, and helpful throughout. Would highly recommend!!

Wonderful stay at Site 3. It’s tucked away from the other sites and right on the river. The site itself is well maintained and super clean. The farm has nicely manicured pathways for exploring. My dog had a blast running through the fields. Sam and Melissa are very responsive—providing directions to the site, delivering eggs, and checking in about firewood. I appreciated the hospitality. Absolutely plan to come back!

Melissa and Sam's camp sites are beautifully located with unimpeded river views on one side and beautiful fields with walking paths and rolling hills on the other. Their farm fresh eggs are delicious (and colorful!) and they're gracious and well organized hosts. Plenty of walking paths to keep kids (and adults) occupied. We hope to come back before too long.

We had an amazing time on site 5 with a group of 14 campers. The property is incredibly beautiful and well maintained, and the river access and views were fantastic. Also the amount of birds and fireflies was a testament to how ecologically healthy and diverse this place was. It was such an awesome time that we are already planning our next trip!

Loved this quiet spot along the river! The campsite was clean, peaceful and perfect for our stopover on the way to VT. Wishes we could have stayed a couple days and enjoyed a bit more! Definitely would come back in the warmer season and enjoy the water and nearby attractions.
