Riverside Camping on the Farm
in Riverside Camping on the Farm, North CarolinaThis was my fourth time returning to this lovely camping area. Owners have done a great job maintaining and improving the sites & services. Hosts are friendly and easy to work with but let you enjoy nature without being noticed. The creek that runs beside all the sites puts this beyond other camping areas near by. It’s also close to a few breweries for an added bonus
Uwharrie Hideout
in The Uwharrie Hideout, North CarolinaGreat spot for dispersed camping near Uwharrie National Forest, we camped in the valley part of the grounds and it provided protection from the wind and all the privacy. The creekside section would be great for tent camping or one to two cars and the hill location had a good view of the farm with space for tents or a couple cars. Host came out to say Hi once we rolled in and asked if we needed anything then let us setup camp.
Riverside Camping on the Farm
in Riverside Camping on the Farm, North CarolinaSecond time camping back to this hipcamp and its a gem of a location with super friendly hosts. The sites are spacious with alot of level ground to setup and has the lovely sound of running water to fall asleep to with the creek close by.
Cucumber Hill
in Cucumber Hill, VirginiaRiverside Camping on the Farm
in Riverside Camping on the Farm, North CarolinaBeautiful camps along a gentle creek that is perfect for playing or taking a summer dip in. All of the campsites coming with a great fire ring, tables and privacy depending on how you setup camp. There will be workers passing by but we hardly ever noticed them. The staff are super friend and made the check in process painless. Camp location is a little off the beaten path but really close to the national forest or a quick run into Fletcher.
Kohler Farms-A Shire Horse...
in Kohler Farms-A Shire Horse..., North CarolinaAbsolutely lovely campspot that is beside a small creek and field with horses but it is private with tree coverage between the host house and field. The hosts are lovely, provided a great list of things to do and places to get food or supplies. I only saw them during checkin but they were only a text away. The campsite provides a firepit, two camp tables, tons of firewood, porta potty and plently of flat camping area to setup.
On top of the world in NW NC /Fog
in On top of the world NW NC Ashe, North CarolinaExcellent views of the surrounding area with a great camp host that will make you feel right at home. Each spot is well spaced out from each other and the drive up to the spots is a fun adventure
Hanscombe Point Plantation
in Hanscombe Point Plantation, South CarolinaTent Camping on 200 Acre Horse Farm
in Horse Heaven, TennesseeHanscombe Point Plantation
in Hanscombe Point Plantation, South CarolinaThe campsite was convenient to Charleston and Kiawah Island with a beautiful backdrop of the creek behind camp. The farm animals around camp was a nice bonus when driving in or out of the location. The hosts were friendly upon checkin and offered firewood during our stay. The only recommendation I would make is to spread the two campsites out further as they are only ~25ft apart which decreases the privacy.
