You can also hike directly from Camp Steelhead on the old historic rail grade and enjoy the views of the majestic Buffalo River. Enjoy a quiet camping area with the convenience of power hookups for your RV (30 amp) or just plug in your phone to the 110 outlets if you are tent camping. Close proximity to Highway 20 and easy access to services and dining. One RV/Trailer per campsite. Camp Steelhead is located within the beautiful Yellowstone Ecosystem. While we have not had any problems with wildlife. We ask that campers store food properly to avoid any issues. Yellowstone does not have a fence around it. Animals wander all through the area.

Angell Creek Campground

Angell Creek Campground is located in beautiful Island Park Idaho. It has been in our family for over 50 years. We are surrounded by pine trees, and it is a quiet place to escape the noise of the world. It is a place to recharge and enjoy the outdoors. Our campsite is close to West Yellowstone and only 30 mi. from Yellowstone National Park. Island Park has a lot to offer including: boating, waterskiing, fishing, canoeing, swimming, hiking, trail riding and much more. All of these activities are within a few minutes away. We are in close proximity to highway 20 and easy access to services and dining. We have a very large parking area where you can park trailers and vehicles. We have about 3 acres and have 5 RV spots. We have a central sheltered picnic area and a big fire pit. Each pad is rented at $40 a night with provided 50 amp and 20-amp camper power. No water or sewer is provided. There is a porta potty on location from May 24th-Sept. 30th 2024. Must pack out all of your trash or be a accessed a cleaning fee per lot. Although wanting to keep this campground in a primitive state, we will be adding a few updates in coming years. Pets allowed on a leash.

Since it's so close to Yellowstone (30 min drive), Henry's Lake (10 min drive), Ennis (45 mins drive) & Bozeman (2 hours), we knew it would be a perfect "home base" for us to explore everything Montana has to offer. Learn more about this land: 21 acres near Cliff and Wade Lakes is set up for an RVs. * 2 - 50 amp power service w/ hookup * Drilled a 190'/20 gpm well w/ hookup * Installed a septic system - not hookup. Only for dumping. * RV corral to park in There are two pads (Site 1 & Site 2), which are rented out separately, however if you would like to grab both, please shoot me a message. Both sites have water & power hookup's. PLEASE NOTE: There are NOT a sewer/septic hookup's. We do have a dump station onsite for you to use. We also do not have trash service, so we kindly ask you pack-in and pack-out. The views are outstanding and you are minutes from fishing, hiking, hunting and exploring in Yellowstone National Park (30 min drive), Hebgen Lake (10 mins drive), Henry's Lake (10 min drive), the Madison River and Island Park. Guest access Your adventure begins the moment you leave Island Parks buzzing highway 20. You will be on dirt roads for about 2 miles. The roads are well maintained and do not require 4 wheel drive but they can get a bit muddy during the rainy season. Please be mindful of the posted 15 mph speed limits along the way. Other things to note: There are three structures on the property: The Treetop Loft, the Tiny Timber your Mini Moose. Each building has a sign, its own entry codes, its own designated parking and ample space for privacy. The neighborhood is amazing. It's safe, well maintained and full of friendly seasonal locals. You wont feel like a tourist here!
