Peaceful Pines
Do not book!
I do not recommend this campsite. Very difficult to access with an RV. Danny was inaccessible when it took us several hours to find the camp. When we finally found the site, our spot was occupied by other hipcampers who had the same feeling as our: the impression to have been fooled. We had to find another spot for the night. Definitely the worst experience we had with hipcamp so far.
Peaceful Pines
Not staying there again
The directions were not good (at least include some mileage/distances and get road names correct) and the road was VERY rough. It was the roughest road I’ve taken my camper trailer on (and I take it on national forest roads often). The site would be ok for 4 tent sites and two camper and two tents but was crowded with three camper trailers/RVs and for tent/dry camping it really needs a port-a-potty. It also has a shared firepit, which was not a big deal, but was not stated in the description. And trying to charge $15/day for wood at a shared firepit is not good . Also due to the cramped space someone was already set up in my spot, forcing me to take someone else”s.
Peaceful Pines
Tricky road to the site
I'll start off by saying this was our first HipCamp experience. The site was indeed peacefully nestled among the pine trees. The huge fire pit was awesome, and I could see it being a fun gathering site with other campers (we were the only guests during our stay). The site was a bit tricky to get to, but that was because I tried using Google Maps. Danny's directions are very clear, and had I used them initially, we would have gotten there easier. The cell reception in the area isn't great, so I'm glad I had taken a screenshot of his directions beforehand. My biggest issue with this site was the road in. It was not clear to us how "rustic" this road was before we got there. The last few "blocks" before Danny's property had many big rocks and huge ruts in the road. This was particularly challenging to navigate being in an SUV pulling a travel trailer. I did not feel like the listing was particularly clear about the road conditions. I think if we had been in a Sprinter van or some with higher clearance and ideally not towing something, the road would have been ok, but it just wasn't great for us, especially arriving late at night.

Peaceful Pines
No air freshener needed
Peaceful pines is a Good name for this place, we had a cow moose walk by camp the 1st day, didnt care the generator was even on !
Although it's off grid living the only thing we noticed was area locals working on thier homes and only during work hours.

Great dry camp near Yellowstone
This is an awesome campsite nestled in a vacation community well away from any construction, that has very easy access to Yellowstone. I would absolutely recommend this spot to anybody that's comfortable dry camping.
Peaceful Pines
We had a frustrating time finding it as there was no address or signage at the road or the campsite. He did answer his phone however. There was really only one level site not 4

Awesome fire pit!
Danny's place in the pines was lovely! BEST FIREPIT ever, with tons and tons of wood, de-barked and ready to go.

Nice getaway
Nice spot a little neighbor-hoog-y but pretty much as expected
