Penn Meadow Farm is a beautiful 145 acre, family farm, nestled perfectly into the Chiltern Hills area of outstanding natural beauty. We’re just a 5 minute walk across our grassy fields to the oldest free-house pub in England (The Royal Standard of England)
Say hello to our resident alpacas, sheep, pigs, pigmy goats, flock of 250 sheep and of course our lovely boarder collies.
We aim to be a very relaxed spot to be able to rest for a few nights and maybe enjoying a nice camp fire in the evening.
The site includes;
Showers and Toilet block with toilet paper stocked.
Open family pitches for you to choose where you want to set up
Running drinking water
Shared open kitchen
Fires allowed but must be off the ground
BBQ's allowed
To ensure everyone’s enjoyment and safety, please follow these rules:
Supervise children: Always supervise your children and ensure they do not wander off alone.
Clean up after yourself: Dispose of all waste properly in the designated bins and leave no trace behind. Wash any items you use and return them to where you found them.
Respect other campers: Be courteous to fellow campers and respect their privacy and space.
Pets: If you bring pets, ensure they are well-behaved, kept on a leash or have impeccable recall, and cleaned up after. Do not allow your pet to enter another camper's space.
Quiet time: Maintain quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. All music must stop by 10pm, and noise should be minimal after 10pm.
Campfires: Penn Meadow Farm allows fires; but must be kept off the ground in BBQs or firepits. Fire pits are available to rent from check in. Never leave any fires unattended and ensure they are completely extinguished when finished.
Cars/vehicles: Cars and vehicles can be on the field but should move minimally and always under 8mph. Car stereos should not be used for music entertainment.
We do not typically book Large non-family groups unless they are seeking a calm and peaceful stay. These groups must have authorization prior to the visit.

FINNISH SAUNA
We light our authentic Finnish sauna on Friday and Saturday. you can buy a £5 Sauna Pass onsite that gives you access during your stay, If its not currently hot don't worry its less than an hour to get it hot!
CAMPFIRES
We love campfires and see them as an integral part of the camping experience. Campfires bring people together at the end of the day, to cook, socialise and relax. The smell of the wood smoke at twilight and the excitement on the kids faces when the marshmallows come out are bound to set you up for a perfect night away from the city lights! We sell crates of firewood, and hire fire pits for you to use during your stay.
MUSIC
The Lower Fields are for quiet camping. We would like it to be the perfect place for children to sleep and adults to chitchat around the campfires.
On the Upper Field and near the Centre Camp we do allow you to listen and enjoy any music. But please respect your fellow campers! We want everybody to be able to enjoy their weekend without being disturbed. We ask for quiet across the whole site from 11.30pm.
Overall we are quite a sociable site, with things happening at center camp every weekend. and a public campfire to sit around for a few mins after your sauna. We have a great area for large family groups. We pride ourselves on helping new campers get the most out of the experience come and hay hello at center camp.

Being Bank Holiday it was very busy but enjoyed my stay. Its a good location, 15min walk down to Stockbridge, yes its by an A road but it wasn't noisy and I was parked close to the gate. Facilities were amazing and clean and loved the little shed to do your washing up in. Bonus for me was the dog wash at the top of the field - my dog decided this weekend was the first time she wanted to roll in cow poo!!! Super simple campsite with all you need for a carefree stay. Will be back :)

We loved camping at Hook Farm Campsite. Facilities are basic but perfectly functional (including warm and clean showers), site is quiet and natural. The steep slopes are not ideal, as the mattress moves down while trying to sleep. It is however a great campsite with helpful and friendly staff and management.

It was a small site in a good, quiet location with views across the field on one side. The rest is sheltered by trees. Alexandra was very nice and helpful and responsive to questions. She also kindly let us to stay longer on our last day. There was a good selection of glamping options. A cute play area for kids and some chickens!

We were impressed by The Barn KT9! Charlie was responsive and flexible, they had more facilities than we'd expected and it was a wonderful family friendly atmosphere. The cafe is a lovely addition to the facilities. The location feels very countryside, hard to believe that it is not that far from London! Would highly recommend it.

Beautiful campsite! It was so well maintained and cleaned by Alex. She was so friendly, welcoming and easy to reach! The showers are gas powered so there was hot water, plus they had a wonderful view - such a luxury! The glamping tent was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately the fire ban had come in before we arrived however this had no effect on our stay! Thank you so much we had a wonderful stay ❤️

It felt like a complete oasis away from the world at the moment. The owners were so welcoming, they had clearly put their heart and soul into the site. From a beautiful family friendly festival vibe of a communal area, to a stunning hot shower, a hot sauna and shady areas to hang out. The pitches were spacious, we loved the food and cocktails van! There was great walking all around the site. Could you ask for more?! We really had a sense of community and connection. Speaking to people we hadn’t met either around the fire, in the sauna or even sharing some cake with strangers at our camp. I feel so full and rebalanced now I’m home. Thank you so much for all the hard work you have put in so we all have a chance to be humans not robots xxx

We had a lovely relaxing stay at KT9. The pitches are all lovely and well spaced-out, providing a really calm and quiet location. The amenities onsite are great both on pitches and the area. And highly recommend the coffee and honey mustard sausage rolls at the cafe!

It’s a lovely place with nice tents and things to do for the kids. My little one is 3 years old and she loved the bell tent and the hammocks and badminton. The cafe is lovely too. We live in London and it was very easy to reach with public transport. Maybe bring some ear plugs because you will hear airplanes.

Excellent location and facilities. We hiked and booked one of the bring your own tent spots which was excellent value. The kids really enjoyed the games and badminton and I had to drag them away from the hammocks. Was also lovely to be able to get a coffee and a treat from the cafe in the morning before packing up. We will definitely be back

Camped with our own tent for a couple of nights. Campsite is well set up with a little shared kitchen and flushing loos. The kids loved the animals and pub was a short walk through the woods and fields. Would go back!

A group of 10 of us enjoyed time together camping in this idyllic setting. The wild deer and birds of prey seen in the nearby field were nice.
The extra touches like games and hammocks were an added perk.
Wheelbarrows were needed for the walk to the pitch to carry our heavy stuff but it was all doable.
Myself and friends liked to go to a Pilates class at the gym and with a cafe on site but away from the field was a great facility to grab a coffee and pastrie.
Charlie’s communication was good and he answered our questions.

Really relaxed vibe to the whole place.
Enjoyed playing badminton in my pjs!
Great being able to book classes into the really nicely kitted out gym and pilates studio, on site.
