Penn Meadow Farm is a beautiful 145 acre, family farm, nestled perfectly into the Chiltern Hills area of outstanding natural beauty. We’re just a 5 minute walk across our grassy fields to the oldest free-house pub in England (The Royal Standard of England)
Say hello to our resident alpacas, sheep, pigs, pigmy goats, flock of 250 sheep and of course our lovely boarder collies.
We aim to be a very relaxed spot to be able to rest for a few nights and maybe enjoying a nice camp fire in the evening.
The site includes;

To ensure everyone’s enjoyment and safety, please follow these rules:
Supervise children: Always supervise your children and ensure they do not wander off alone.
Clean up after yourself: Dispose of all waste properly in the designated bins and leave no trace behind. Wash any items you use and return them to where you found them.
Respect other campers: Be courteous to fellow campers and respect their privacy and space.
Pets: If you bring pets, ensure they are well-behaved, kept on a leash or have impeccable recall, and cleaned up after. Do not allow your pet to enter another camper's space.
Quiet time: Maintain quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. All music must stop by 10pm, and noise should be minimal after 10pm.
Campfires: Penn Meadow Farm allows fires; but must be kept off the ground in BBQs or firepits. Fire pits are available to rent from check in. Never leave any fires unattended and ensure they are completely extinguished when finished.
Cars/vehicles: Cars and vehicles can be on the field but should move minimally and always under 8mph. Car stereos should not be used for music entertainment.
We do not typically book Large non-family groups unless they are seeking a calm and peaceful stay. These groups must have authorization prior to the visit.

Welcome to our low-impact, off-grid campsite nestled within a working permaculture fruit and herb farm. Here, a small flock of sheep graze as part of an ongoing project to restore a wildflower meadow. The land is alive with colour, birdsong and butterflies—and you’re invited to experience it at your own peaceful pace.

We are a small, friendly, family-run campsite set in the High Weald area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a perfect base from which to explore the beaches, castles, ancient woodlands and towns like Rye, Battle and Hastings.
Dogwood is in the pretty village of Brede, and is walking distance from two fine country pubs.
We are surrounded by stunning countryside where you can take your dog for a short stroll across the fields or go for a long romp through the woods and valleys. Or just sit and relax, listen to the birds and soak up the peace and quiet.
We are fortunate to be in a 'dark sky' area, perfect for long, relaxing summer nights around the campfie, sipping hot chocolate, toasting marshmallows and spotting shooting stars!
During the summer our site is a popular spot for families and campers visiting nearby Camber Sands sandy beach and year round we welcome all different types of campervan, motorhome and caravan.
We look forward to welcome you to our little slice of paradise.
Please note our strict 'no group' policy - we only accept single families, single couple and single campers. No more than 2 adults in any group, even on separate pitches.
Please bring your acoustic guitar or similar but, as this is a quiet site, please no radios, stereos or videos unless you're using headphones. The birdsong here is incredible by the way!
Very wet weather and winter – please note in the off-season, and if very wet, the camping field is closed to vehicles, replaced instead by semi-hardstanding areas or our summer car-park area. Facilities are open but please be prepared for the vagaries of the weather, leaves, puddles and mud. To change pitch please let us know asap so that we can try if possible to find you another. Apart from the car-park, pitches can get very muddy in prolonged, heavy rain. If you are not prepared for these eventualities please do not book.

Created for Glastonbury Festival's fallow year, this new pop-up campsite is designed to bring people together in a friendly setting, welcoming friends, couples and solo travellers alike.
We have a woodland sauna, a communal campfire (acoustic music is encouraged), badminton and table tennis. Please note the sauna is an additional cost.
Nearby there are lots of beautiful walks and the Ardingly reservoir offers a range of water sports (8 minute drive). The famous bluebell railway is also within walking distance.
Please be aware there is no mobile service at the campsite, which we see as a good opportunity to disconnect from technology and reconnect with nature and each other. There is very limited Wifi onsite if necessary.

We are a small, family run, eco-friendly campsite in Chailey, set in a peaceful pocket of Sussex countryside.
Our uniqueness includes therapies offered on site, including massage, reiki and pellowah; our classes run on site, including yoga, and gong baths; the wide range of outdoor games we can provide; and our commitment to making your camping experience as pleasurable as possible. We also have a fantastic wood-fired sauna all day on Saturdays, a delicious pizza oven on Saturday evenings, and a coffee truck on weekend mornings!

We had the most incredible time at Charlotte’s campsite—it felt like our own little slice of paradise. From start to finish, Charlotte was brilliant with communication, making sure we had everything we needed.
The site itself is stunning, boasting a spectacular view and massive fields. Our three sausage dogs had the absolute time of their lives here: Cabbage spent the entire day sniffing around, Chutney never tired of playing fetch, and good old Dinky was happily following them both. It was the perfect, safe space for them to explore.
Even during an awful heatwave, this place excelled. Charlotte provided ice-cold water on-site, and thanks to the scorching sun all day, the huge bucket we brought along (plus our water bags) heated up perfectly. It meant we were even able to enjoy a lovely warm wash once the evening cooled down a bit!
Charlotte also went above and beyond by providing extra equipment from the huts that we hadn't brought with us, including folding chairs and tables. To top it all off, the raised fire pit was wonderful in the evening for roasting treats and keeping us warm as the night set in.
If you are looking for a place to slow down, unwind, and focus on the small things, this is it. We couldn't recommend Charlotte’s site enough!

Charlie, who I was in contact with, was incredible helpful and quick to respond to any queries I had. My partner and I will definitely be returning soon, and I recommend you go too. The perfect campsite!!

We had a lovely stay at Beech Estate Campsite. Our secluded woodland glade was quiet, peaceful, and came with its own fire pit and bench, which was a great touch. One bag of firewood was more than enough for our two-night stay. The facilities were excellent, and the whole site was well maintained. A perfect spot for a relaxing getaway, would definitely come back!

We had a great stay at the barn!!! It is really an adventure in the middle of nowhere. The coffee is good and you are just 20 minutes walk from the station. Charlie helped us with a taxi when we wanted to be early in the queue of Wimbledon! We had nice contact with him. Three nights we were alone on the camping so that was fantastic!!! Back to basic with a shower nearly in the open air and a view on the fields👍 we loved it❤️

This was a beautiful piece of land on a hill with a spectacular view! It was the first camping trip for me and a friend, and we had a great time - just enough amenities to make everything straightforward, but not so many that it feels like glamping. There was a great supply of firewood, and the loo was very civilised.
The road leading up to the place is rather bumpy, so be wary if you have low suspension on your car!

I camped for two nights in my own tent with my four year old and a dog, and we absolutely loved it. We only live up the road 😂 but this gave us the “middle of nowhere” camping experience within a 20 minute drive. The event on Friday night was brilliant, the cafe is wonderful and I was looking longingly at the exercise classes…next time! My daughter cried when we had to leave, we will definitely be back (and the husband can come too next time, there’s a Reformer with my name on it!!!) thank you for a lovely stay and see you again soon.

We just got back from another stay here, and it was just as great as our trip last year!
The hosts are so lovely and welcoming. The facilities are top-notch, too—the showers actually have really good water pressure, and having a little kitchenette with a fridge, kettle, and cooker makes camping so much easier.
The vibe is just really fun and relaxed. We loved seeing all the kids running around and having water fights; it’s a perfect family atmosphere. We had a brilliant time and we’ll definitely be heading back again!

We had a brilliant stay at The Barn KT9. It’s even better than the photos. The tents were huge with comfy beds and clean sheets. The room diffuser was a lovely touch. Beautiful views and a relaxing space. The kids really enjoyed finding the different activities you had laid out in the field. The cafe was even better than hoped! Had a fantastic stay at this campsite! The facilities were excellent and the hot showers a real treat. The views were absolutely stunning, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a lovely atmosphere throughout our stay. We especially loved the open mic night - such a fun evening and added to the great community feel of the campsite.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful and relaxing 2 night stay here for fathers day. Its so peaceful yet so close to London and lots of child friendly places. The onsite cafe had fabulous views, coffees and pastries, and its a short walk across the field and Ashtead Common to the Star pub which has a little play area in the garden.

As on previous trips to the barn we had a lovely time. Toilets are clean and the site is so well looked after. Plenty of wheelbarrows and the fire pits bbqs and tables were a real plus!
The honesty shop for logs saved us Friday night as we had completely forgotten to get some, genius idea.

Really liked the location and setting. It had everything we needed, with two pubs, Chessington World of Adventures and Chessington Garden Centre all within walking distance. There were games to play like cornhole, and a nice cafe on site. There's also a gym, Reformer Pilates, and a pizza van that comes during the week. Will definitely be back with my kids.
