We have a 7 acre developing hobby farm currently with fruit trees, a garden, a king shepherd named Jack and a cat named Lulu. You may see some of our neighbour's ducks walking around and hear their rooster in the morning. Please note; our driveway is an uphill, switchback driveway so long trailers are not a fit for our location. Front wheel or 4 wheel is a plus but typically all vehicles can make it up our driveway. We have 2 swimming holes near and backing our property. At the back of the property is Hayward Lake/Hairsine Creek which is great for swimming. Inflatable paddle boards are the way to go if you wish to paddle board in the lake since it would be difficult portaging a rigid paddle board down the Crown Land trail. On the front is the Stave River Runoff. This has trails and is ideal if you have smaller children as the water is a bit warmer and has shallow areas. There are hiking trails in the area and a beach area a short drive from the sites.

Camping is open and the weather is beautiful! Enjoy the beautiful acres right on the Chilliwack River! A wonderful family-friendly (including pets!) getaway with endless activities nearby. (no pets allowed for glamping) Our camp sites are great for anyone wanting to camp, including groups. Walk in tenting only. We have Glamping tents as well - we provide everything except your food, drinks and personal items! They are situated beside the river, with a eating bar overlooking the river and with beautiful views. For the romantic couple - but we also can accomodate a small child (inquire). Our campsite is available in the spring and summer and is just 20 minutes from the city of Chilliwack, BC. We provide a fire pit and campfires are allowed as long as there is no fire ban. (then you can have a propane campfire) The sites are quite private but there will be other campers nearby. We try to keep a large amount of space between sites and some are separated by trees. We are a walk in tent only site- parking is very close, 30 second walk. We can also provide access to electricity so you can charge your phones or other devices if needed. There is no cell reception, but we do have wifi that you can use. Potable water is available. We supply natural spring water but you must bring your own jug. We live in an adventure playground! Activities nearby include hiking, white rapid river rafting, fishing, watching bald eagles, Cultus Lake water slides and adventure park, mountain biking, cold plunge and sauna retreats, wine tastings and more! The stargazing at night is beautiful as there is no light pollution here. We look forward to hosting you!

The bathroom is, frankly, a fairy-sized wet room – Lucinda is economical like that. It will give you a decent shower though and we provide bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The toilet is flushable, and we provide RV toilet paper that is made specifically for our RV plumbing system. The water heater works well and heats up pretty quickly. However, it is a standard RV water heater which means you'll have about 5-6 minutes of hot water until it heats up again. The shower head has a stop button to control water usage while you are showering. Lastly, please do not be surprised that Lucinda is small; she is small. However, we find her to be a comfortable resting place. -Guest access- You may use the outdoor areas located directly outside of the RV but please respect the area around the adjacent private residence as off limits.

Nestled in the heart of the Tamihi Recreational Area, just 20 minutes from town, our property offers a rare blend of seclusion and adventure. Surrounded on three sides by lush, moss-draped forest & bordered on the fourth by the stunning Chilliwack River, it’s a true nature lover’s paradise. Enjoy a spacious riverside beach, great for swimming during the summer & fall & world-class fishing. The area features Class I–IV rapids for whitewater kayaking, with Chilliwack River Rafting just 5 or so minutes away. You can ATV right out of our gate onto unlimited logging roads and trails or hike the Trans Canada Trail 3 blocks from our gate. There isn't river access at the sites. The stairs to the beach are through the picnic shelter. There is a light wire fence along the river in riverfront sites for protection due to a drop-off & undercut banks. ATV's are idle in - idle out. QUIET, well-mannered, leashed pets are welcome if you pick up after them and not leave them unattended. LONG WEEKENDS are a minimum of 3 nights. CHILDREN MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times! FIREWOOD is $9. for a large feed bag full & is available between 9 AM and 8 PM. BEEF and EGGS: We have grass-fed Black Angus beef jerky for sale (this cow was treated as a pet until her time & was dispatched on the farm to avoid stress). We occasionally have eggs from our pastured chickens. Our free-range kind, gentle horses also wander the property. Any interactions with them are at your own risk! Even though we arrived ahead of our scheduled check-in time, we were warmly greeted by Wayne, who kindly showed us around the property and introduced us to the cats, goats, lambs, and chickens. A major highlight was our son getting to feed the goats and even learning how to play pool. It was a fantastic experience for him. Overall, it was a deeply relaxing getaway surrounded by nature. Had such a wonderful stay at the cabin! The farm was absolutely beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax. We loved being around the animals — the horses, dogs, and chickens made the experience even more special. The cabin was cozy, and the whole place had such a lovely atmosphere. We had an absolutely fantastic getaway! The cabin was wonderful and provided the perfect nature escape for our family. Michael was an incredibly friendly and welcoming host who really made us feel at home. We loved the thoughtful outdoor spa, but the absolute highlight was the healing woodfire pit—it was exactly what we needed to gather around, grill some dinner, and enjoy the beautiful forest surroundings together. My husband and I had the most wonderful time at the Pioneer cabin! It was comfortable, cozy and very aesthetic, truly felt like you are transported somewhere else! The host is wonderful and was very responsive and helpful, would absolutely recommend and will definitely come back!

This was truly the best cabin we've ever stayed in. The peaceful and cozy atmosphere made our stay special, and Michael was so kind and welcoming. Despite the rain, my family and I enjoyed every moment. The cabin was spotless, warm, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The affordable rate made it even better. This was a truly memorable experience for us, and we’re already thinking of returning soon.

We had an amazing stay, thanks to Leah and her family's generosity with their time and place. The location is perfect. The farm beautiful. Our kids were absolutely in love with all the animals. We stayed one night and it was very nice experience, nice place relaxing in nature but close to the city. My daughter got my promise to be back again . I am planing for summer long time stay as it is very close to water park .Michael and his family very warm welcomed us and they are very nice and supportive.
