We loved camping at Camp Hazy. It was peaceful and the views are beautiful! The grounds are flat and well maintained. The hosts were very obliging and communication was excellent! The only visitors we had were an old dog that came and said hello when we arrived, and some geese and a couple of ducks. It was very private. It’s only a 3 minute drive to town and beaches! We had a spectacular night watching meteors in the uninterrupted sky 💫☄️⭐️ We will definitely be back

This is a really beautiful place - the view when we came out of our tent in the morning was stunning and the pitches make the most of it - we had a wonderful time sat around the fire pit listening to the birds and enjoying the peace and tranquility - - Sarah is a great host and gave us details of places to eat - walking trails etc - we will definitely be back

Absolutely beautiful site with incredible views!! Flat, shady, grassy site with firewood. Super peaceful and so many birds! Sarah and Scott were so lovely and welcoming, and checked in to make sure I was ok when a big storm rolled through. Will be visiting again!!

3 nights at Burringbar Camping - The Haven

Stayed for 3 nights at Kates property and it was great. We had the area to ourselves and stayed in front of the bamboo area facing the road so we got full max of the sun for our solar. Was not an issue facing the road side at all. Welcomed on arrival by Kates husband (sorry, forgot his name). Like others have mentioned, firewood & firepit supplied and even down to fire starters! Communication with Kate was excellent. 40 minute drive to Tweed Heads so location is pretty good. Will definitely be back if we need a getaway from the Gold Coast or see another show in Tweed Heads.

My daughter, 2 dogs and I stayed here for 2 nights in the Tree House. The accommodation was very unique, clean, practical and comfortable. The location of the Tree House is also very private from the main dwelling. We explored there region which is absolutely beautiful- Gods country :)

Great spot. Super friendly and helpful host. Toilet was clean. Site was flat and well maintained. 5 minute drive to the beach and creek and great cafes. Lovely ducks. My only note would be it does feel a bit like you’re in the owners garden and there is some road noise but would still recommend!

The red cabin was really a hidden gem. The room was very tidy, although the kitchen and bath were outside, they were still well maintained. The location was easy to find, we were able to enjoy our privacy and still get a stunning view. I especially enjoyed the creek near the site, there were no midges, and the water was clear and peaceful. Will visit again, highly recommended.

A very peaceful location all to yourself so close to town and the beach. Well set up with some solar lights, fire-pit, table, benches and swing. The dogs loved the freedom and there are some great off lead dog beaches close by. The elevated location meant we also had some lovely cooling breezes.

Our farm features lush, green rolling hills with a river, creek and dam traversing the property. There are undulating hills with pockets of forest. The campsites are nestled in the groves of trees next to the creek. There's some great swimming spots, or you can go for a bushwalk and do a spot of fossicking on the water's edge. Some parts of our property are 4WD access only, but we also have good camping spots that can accommodate 2WDs. You need to be a self-contained camper with your own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. Coast and country combined. 25 acre farm is surrounded by other large farms and beautiful countryside as far as the eye can see. - However you are only 2.5 minutes drive to the nearest beach (Casuarina) and shops! The land is elevated, flood free and has some ocean views/breezes. Guests MUST be fully self contained with their own toilet facilities. This must be shown to host on arrival. If you do not have your own toilet you will be asked to leave. If you want to pay a bit extra for your own private ensuite (running water, hot shower, power, lights, vanity and flushing toilet) then you can stay without your own toilet. Cabarita beach (voted best beach in Australia for 2020 and 2021) is only 7 min away, Fingal and Dreamtime Beaches 10 min drive. - When there is a bit of swell you can hear the crashing of waves at night time as you relax. - Camping area is a long way from the street so no noise pollution & no light pollution - with countless stars if there is a clear evening with no clouds. - I do not know how to change 'pets' status on website. But they are only allowed if you describe they type of pet/breed and promise they will be safe on a lead at all times and not roam around the farm doing what they want. Busy weekends they may not be allowed - ask when booking. This site can easily accommodate small or large groups with flushing toilets, hot showers, kitchen and fridge available. There is also lots of Bell - 'glamping tents' for full luxury provided. If someone in your group wants it all 'finished' when you arrive.

NO unregistered vehicles or motorbikes are allowed on the park and we have a zero alcohol policy whilst using the 4WD trails. We are a family friendly park so will not tolerate hooning or bad behaviour. We are a working farm, so as much as we love dogs we cant allow them on our farm.
