Owl's Hollow - The Perch
We had a great time at the Owls Nest-The Perch. Unfortunately we didn’t have the best weather for the majority of our stay but we made the best of it….went fishing and with the perch had a dry area to enjoy!!! Would highly recommend recommend 5/5
Karen thought of every possible detail to make our stay comfortable. The Perch is incredible! A small tent could be set up at the top, or just lay out your sleeping bags! We used the 10x10 pad for our tent, which was close to everything. Kathy and I spent most of our time fishing from the dock. The lake was incredibly warm and great for swimming, bathing and boating. Just remember your water shoes! Potable water was provided, as well as wood for the campfires. The outhouse was charming and extremely clean. There was even an outdoor shower and a handwashing station. I loved the covered cooking station, complete with an attached bottle opener.
The dogs were right at home. The view of the lake was beautiful and so peaceful. We stayed 6 nights and still didn’t want to leave!!! Kathy and I absolutely love The Perch and plan to return next summer. You won’t find a better thought out site or a nicer, more accommodating host!

Excellent host, whimsical site, lots to do, beautiful skies, very clean. I cannot say enough nice things. It was excellent.
The land itself is immaculate, untouched Forrest other than the paths, and essential spaces for camping. The tent pads are spaced perfectly to allow for some privacy. My crew canceled so I was in the perch alone with my dog. I did find the steps steep but even with my bad knees I was OK...i just went slow. I loved laying in the tent with windows open....the view is heavenly. Truly a piece of heaven carved out for you by amazing generous hosts. There are not adequate words to express how wonderful this place is! I will happily pay to carry my own poo again!!!! Lol p.s. the out house smells cleaner than any bathroom I've been in!

We had an excellent time at Owl's Hollow Hut. The eco-glamping site was quiet, well kept, and had everything in the description. We particularly enjoyed the use of the canoe and the raft. Karen is a pro-active host and had all the instructions laid out well before our arrival. We'll be coming back next year :)

Beautiful, quiet and peaceful spot. My seven year old loved the Perch and the pulley system to get small items up! There are many little touches that make the space feel well cared for. The walk to the camp was made easier with wagon/wheel barrow. Many things are provided and were appreciated.

Definitely the most magical and beautiful place I've ever visited. Such a beautiful experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to visit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
A beautiful and private spot situated on Tupperware Lake. The clever and practical details added to the site were terrific and much appreciated. We also appreciated how helpful Karen was. She really makes an effort to ensure you have what you need. We loved the kayaks and swimming off the dock about 50m offshore. The lake looks small but on the kayaks and canoe you can easily explore other extensions of the lake. Use the supplied life jackets of course! We definitely hope to return in the future!
This was a beautiful site! Karen has thought of everything you could need. I swam out to the raft, kayaked through the lakes, enjoyed the hummingbirds and fire pit. The odorless bathroom was so lovely! We will be back!
Our stay was awesome! The place had all the necessary amenities and was peaceful and quiet throughout, with only the sounds of nature surrounding us. The kayaks and canoe were a lot of fun and made the experience even more enjoyable. We especially loved the decks overlooking the lake—the views were beautiful and so relaxing.
We also got to experience the camp during some rain, which added to the charm. Unfortunately, we couldn't have a campfire because there was a fire ban, but that was understandable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place to others.

Every detail is so beautiful and well curated here. It was a magical stay above the canopy, loved the access to great swims in the lake and canoeing!
This was our second time booking this site!!! just like lasted, exceeded our expectations, and we had a great peaceful weekend. Every detail of his life is so well thought out and so convenient to help the camper! Would absolutely recommend

This place was absolutely gorgeous, such a thoughtful set up and loved that there were kayaks and paddle boards. Karen was great, so communicative and helpful.
Would caution when you’re looking to stay, we unfortunately had such bad bugs we weren’t able to utilize the site and ultimately had to leave, you can’t control Mother Nature, the May flies have been particularly bad this year.

Owl's Hollow was amazing! We stayed dry under the covered tent shelter, there was plenty of firewood, lots of water and the site was gorgeous. Loved the lake, the canoes and kayaks provided were so fun to explore with. The outhouse was the nicest I've ever seen. I would 100% reccommend this site, 100 times over!
We had an absolutely incredible experience. We stayed in the perch with our tent up in the loft area. Being the middle of April it was quite cold, our second night was raining so Karen offered us the hut no charge. We took a look at the hut, which was very cozy, but ultimately chose to stick out the cold weather for the full “April camping experience”. We spent most of the weekend in the kayaks, fishing, and having our nightly campfires. It was quite the relaxing weekend and a much needed break from daily life. I would take every opportunity to stay at Owl’s Hollow in the future! Karen and Ben are amazing and so so kind. The site is absolutely gorgeous.
Wow the pictures looked good but being there was a whole other kind of beauty. The spot is tranquil and perfect, Karen and Ben have everything you could possibly need! The cabin was nice and cozy at night and the view of the stars is incredible! Definitely already planning a return trip!
This spot is absolutely gorgeous! If you are in need of a tech detox, this is the place! Environmentally conscious and well maintained, it is a fun space for families or for adults who want to take a break for the crazy pace of life. Definitely recommend!

Owl's Hollow - The Perch
We had such a wonderful stay at Owl’Hollow -The Perch! The kids loved the swings and kayaking, and the whole place was just perfect for a family getaway. Peaceful, clean, and welcoming!
We like things so much we had to come back at the next chance we could. Definitely will be planning more trip here in the future.
Directions were clear to get to site, hosts were quick to respond to various queries & had done their research on DNR regulations & how they applied to their properties in light of the forest fire, trail access, & burn ban situation surrounding my visit. Sit was clear & as described. Wagon provided was functional & easy to use to navigate a trail from the parking to the site.
Everything is very well thought out, would highly recommend to all. Look forward to staying again in the future.
Nice path for easy walk in, beautiful views, tons of space and privacy, comfortable clean lake for swimming, appropriate bathroom facilities and more charm then you can imagine!
You can feel the care that these hosts put into this land and the set up. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Owl's Hollow - The Hut
Owl's Hollow is the perfect place for a getaway - Karen and Ben have truly thought about everything! In the Hut there was a book about forest bathing, and their property is truly the epitome of it - peaceful, serene and therapeutic. The beautiful views, steps from access to the lake and the added conveniences (chairs, structures, water, etc.) is unbeatable. Karen was quick to respond, kind and very accommodating. Looking forward to coming back!

Owl's Hollow - The Perch
We have done a lot of camping with our kids. We first discovered this spot last fall and swore we’d be back in the warmer months to enjoy the lake more. This was one of our favourite camping trips to date. The location is amazing. The facilities are fantastic. It’s clean, organized, has SOOO much included for enjoying the water. Kayaks, paddle boards, canoe, and even has waterproof phones cases. Our kids (and dog) thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the trip. We spent hours on, and in, the lake. The shaded area of the camp site was perfect for the heat wave, as was the lake!
We absolutely adored our time here! The attention to a campers needs and all the details blew us away. It was so nice to be remote but still feel safe and connected. The cooking hut was a great touch, and we loved having our morning coffee in the chairs. We really appreciated the water that was provided by the host. When you go ensure that you bring extra lights (such as lamp or head lamp) and we had bug nets plus a fly zapper that came in handy! Overall it was an unreal experience, and we felt so taken care of for being in the woods! We would absolutely recommend and intend on going back again!
Very nice camp site with excellent views. 2 kayaks provided for great lake fishing on Tupper Lake (YellowPerch & SmallmouthBass). Would recommend for anyone who likes remote camping, fishing & wildlife incounters.
We had the best time at Owl’s Hollow! The property was beautiful with every detail carefully thought out. Such a quiet and serene spot. Loved every detail about our time here and would absolutely book here again. Already talking about a return next summer! Thanks so much to Karen and Ben for the helpful directions and communication!!
