Andromeda House sits on 30 beautiful acres, stretching from our waterfront to the top of the Mountain. Perched dramatically above the Annapolis Basin, the views here are truly awe-inspiring—and only get more breathtaking as one explores higher up on the property. Our path network is maintained for access to the very satisfying “Upper Lookout”. This path continues and you might just find your hosts working on this area. There are also various mountain access roads provide terrific hiking and mountain biking opportunities. Photography, rock hounding, mushroom hunting and star gazing are ideal activities. Birders in particular should be pleased. The property has been in our family for generations and an old sled path winds through and up it. We are also developing a spring-fed swimming pond this summer. Currently, we have new fields of sunflowers and wildflowers to attract pollinators—bumble bees, hummingbirds and monarch butterflies are especially abundant here. Wild apple trees abound and there is a stand of old maple trees we will be tapping next spring. Beyond that is a mature Beech and Poplar forest. We are within walking distance to Victoria Beach, an authentic fishing village nestled at the base of the north mountain and surrounded by the Annapolis Basin, the Digby Gut and the Bay of Fundy. Did we mention the views?

Maplewood Creek

19. Maplewood Creek

62km from Cottage Cove Provincial Park · 1 site
Maplewood Creek is a peaceful, clothing-optional property designed for those who value connection — with nature, with like-minded community, and with themselves. Whether you’re a seasoned naturist or simply curious about a freer and more grounded way of being, you’re welcome here. Set just off the beaten path, the land offers a quiet, rustic setting where guests can unplug and unwind in comfort. Think of it as a gentle step into a more natural rhythm — a place where the air feels fresher, time slows down, and there’s no pressure to be anything but yourself. Each campsite or rental space is spaced thoughtfully to give you privacy, while still allowing opportunities to connect with others if you choose. If you’d prefer to enjoy the entire space to yourself, that’s welcomed too — we fully support both community connection and complete solitude. The experience is intentionally off-grid. While some access to Wi-Fi may be available through a booster, service can be unreliable, and many guests find this part of the charm. Basic amenities are provided to make your stay easy, without compromising the simplicity of the experience. Maplewood Creek is not a resort — it’s a natural setting with a touch of enchantment, where the breeze moves freely, the sky feels wider, and your body and soul are invited to rest.
