Our homestead is fully fenced for your pets off leash enjoyment and security! Please note when arriving that our driveway is clearly marked with our fire number on the gate and our gate is wooden and the property is completely fenced. (We hope to avoid you mistaking our neighbours driveway who have campers for ours) Enjoy the quiet skyline and maybe even catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. Our grass lots are backed with lush Appalachian forest and leads way to a slow brook. Check in is self guided as there is no host on site but you'll find it simple as all sites, as well as the toilet area are marked with signage. Camp fire wood is available at no charge. Just be mindful and leave some for others. There is no potable water on site however, we do have an out building with toilet. Free Showers and potable water are available at Murray provincial park during open season. You can reach us 24/7 via text or cell. We are Located just off the Acadian Coastal Drive, west of Murray Corner and minutes from the beautiful Fundy shore. We recommend taking shore drive for your travels here as Murray Rd is VERY uneven. You can bring your tent, RV, van or camper and choose from 8 amazing sites. Looking to see multiple provinces?? We are in the perfect spot to see all of what the East coast has to offer. View PEI’s spectacular Confederation Bridge from the shoreline and take a drive to PEI which is only minutes from us. Mainland Nova Scotia is less than a 30 minute drive and if you’re adventurous and want to drive the Cabot Trail then you can reach Cape Breton Island in under 2 hours! This working farm has been enjoyed for generations of local families. Stay off-the-grid in a cozy, rustic cabin retreat. The historic barns, deep swimming pond, sugar house, and stunning woods with trails that have 2 disc golf baskets all provide ample space, entertainment and privacy for a quiet and relaxing retreat. Learn more about this land: Come join us at the Gaylin Farms – home to four friendly goats, Newfoundland ponies, Chanticler chickens, two dogs and a cat. Stay at our completely private cabin (sleeps 3 comfortably, sleeping mats/air mattresses NOT provided) isolated within the centre of a gorgeous 25-acre forest with a private groomed c. 1.5 km walking/biking trail. The cabin is a 5-minute walk from the Trans Canada RailTrail which grants easy access for longer bike rides, runs, hikes, and four-wheeler adventures. You’ll walk through a horse pasture and a cow pasture on your way to the cabin. There is a large farm pond (10ft deep) on the property for swimming. Enjoy access to locally-sourced food, firewood (at a small fee), drinking water, a private firepit, small wood stove and our old-fashioned wood-fired cook stove. There is no electricity or running water (but we provide ample drinking water) and there can be access to a charger box so you may charge your devices or have a light at night. Bring your pets and enjoy a private retreat. The max capacity of the cabin is three people. An outhouse with double-duty bag and second luggable loo are available for all guests. Minimum stay: 2 nights. NEW ADDITION: A new room, a small annex, has been constructed to allow for downstairs sleeping and writing area. It is fully insulated with a wood stove so this area may be used year round. The annex gives one a deeper feeling of being a part of the woods.

We loved our quick one night stay at Manuel’s camping and site #2! The description of was accurate and booking simple. Tent platform was a bonus as we visited on a wetter day. There is no signage or clear way into the woods from the road so you do have to call Manuel to get him to take you back once you find the house. Once back into the woods it’s a beautiful grassy and wooded area with walking trails. Our site was out of view from others so very private and cozy! There is firewood on site and a table and chairs. Will be back again!

It is a little paradise for nature lovers. We did not have problems finding the place with Bryan’s indication. The surroundings are marvelous and the parking site is flat. The owner Bryan is very welcoming. I recommend the site without hesitation. C’est un petit paradis pour les personnes à la recherche de nature. Pas de problème à trouver l’endroit grâce aux indications de Bryan. Les environs sont magnifiques et l’endroit où stationner est plat et dur. Le propriétaire Bryan est fort sympathiques et avenant. Je recommande sans hésitation cet endroit.

We had a great two night stay at the Owl's Nest cabin. Helmut answered all of our questions before we left and transported us to the cabin to show us around the cabin and property. Cabin is secluded and off-grid. Our dog was not a fan of the steep stairs to the loft. Don't forget to bring your orange vest and remember to check for ticks. Highly recommend for those looking for a quiet getaway.
