We loved camping at Cardinal campground. The sites were very well maintained and level and the bistro lighting was a nice touch. The host was very nice and responsive to our questions. The proximity to the national park could not be beat, we would not hesitate to stay again!

It is a simple gravel/ sand strip away from Road 134 with 5 RV sites
It is complete with electric , water and sewer hook up
But nothing else to do
So if you go because you don’t find camping at the park is good , otherwise spend the night and move on …

The campground was great, very quiet, the woman that work there part time was fantastic. The only thing is that I did reserve site number 1 and somebody was there. Good thing that the part time women was there to help me with that issue. there is only 5 sites so that why she is part time there.

Outstansing amenities: 15/30/50A, water, sewer lower than the tanks, complimentary fire wood, trash can on site, stray of illuminated lights, picnic table, feee wifi. Very calm and close to Kouchibougouac National Park. Communications with owner were easy, friendly and with quick answers

Evan is building a great little campground. We were very happy with our stay! We really loved the fact that there was rental trailers there so that our friends could camp with us for the weekend. They had a lot of toys available for kids, which was great for our group. The sites were very clean and nice and level! The firepits were a really nice size too! Evan and his family were very nice and he checked in on us a couple times just to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall great experience and great weekend! We will be back for sure!

Lovely , quiet, small and peaceful camping spot. Love small camping with few people. It’s definitely our chiiice for camping. There’s a nice gravel spot with lights and a fire pit with firewood. Would definitely recommend and if back in the area would stay again.

Lovely private and peaceful camping spot. This is how we love to camp. Spacious spots without tons of sites around. Evan called soon as we arrived to make sure all was ok. Nice little touches to all the sites with string lights and firewood to enjoy. Would definitely recommend. Be advised that it is a work still in progress and will be amazing once it’s finalized. Also internet worked really well.

The place is quiet and have a nice view to the sky. That has been said, it is idea to use starlink to access internet. They also offer us the free firewood.
However, please beware there is no washroom available at the moment and the host did phone me right after i made the reversation. (They are nice!)

While the setting wasn’t special, the hosts (Evan and Stephanie) certainly were. They were responsive and generous and helpful. We biked to the National Park from our site, and then spent the day exploring the Park’s bike paths.

Evan was a wonderful host. The site was well kept and the layout made sense. Cardinal was centrally located to everything we were interesting seeing in the area. Would 100% recommend.

This is a great place to stay if you are in the area. The park is new and very well thought out. The hook ups are conveniently placed. The host Evan is very nice and gave me great information about the area. If you like shade site 2 is the one to chose as it gets afternoon shade. There is food and shopping near by. The National park is just down the road. The cell service is strong. If I get back this way again I would love to stay here.
