Welcome to the homestead! This property is heaven on earth. A gorgeous 3 acre, pet friendly (a livestock guardian dog is present on the property) this hidden paradise is a 5 minute walk to a quiet beach, or a 10 minute drive to the beautiful, public Cabot beach. The property includes an array of solar panels, a greenhouse and garden, as well as a large barn, and smaller coop housing over 50 beautiful white chantecler chickens (the best natural alarm clock)! Many varities of plants and trees provide privacy, shade as well as a lovely view. Enjoy a quiet walk down the dirt road (maybe find a geocache) and enjoy your stay on our little piece of heaven!A beautiful grove of silver maples nestled in along a row of spruce trees creates a snug corner to park your camping vehicle. A private and secluded area, surrounded by wild plants and animals with a quaint view of the darnley basin, a relaxing space to read a book in the shade. With access to a short walking path around the sites, as well as the dirt road canopied by trees. Easily accessible, simply drive up to your site and park however you like!

A very large and simple to use dry camp. The posted picture shows to the camp well. The grass is very level so you can just maneuver to the place that fits your rig best. A quiet location, with country sounds.

I loved tent camping, the property was amazing, beautiful, large… the nature sounds were so refreshing, I loved the roosters, private and quiet. Definitely coming back :)

We didn’t end up sticking around. Nice grassy spot, but campfires were prohibited. Host was pleasant.
