Little Lake Retreat
We had a great time here! The location is perfect for exploring the surrounding areas (Keji Seaside, Carters Beach, Thomas Raddall park and Shelburne) and the campsite is super private! We had room for both our sleeping tent and bug tent. There’s a little spot for campfires.
There was road noise but we hardly noticed it and it certainly was less bothersome than being in a campground surrounded by other campers. The lake is beautiful. Would be wonderful to one day have enough space cleared for two chairs or a wee dock.
We will be back!

We had a great stay at this site. Exactly as advertised. The road noise drops considerably at night. Be cautious of the ticks in this area. We found more than a few trying to be our unwelcome friends.

Visited during the winter for a weekend. Great little spot with lots of privacy. Yes, it's close to a road but that worked fine for us - the trees blocked most of the view and it wasn't that busy.
Clean toilet, great fire pit and generally a wonderful spot. We'd definitely return in the summer!

Absolutely gorgeous property! We arrived to some flowers on the picnic table, and the outhouse stocked with TP. It's (mostly) super peaceful, the lake is beautiful, and the trees are a good separation from the road. Noise of traffic was pretty minimal, and only most noticeable in the early morning as larger vehicles go by. The provided firewood was awesome and we made use of a small cooking grate left there :)
Really our only trouble was initially spotting the civic number and driveway, which is the smallest on the road and well hidden in the trees!
Sad we stayed only a night, and really looking forward to visiting again in the future!!

Was a great camp spot nice pit toilet, the lake was peaceful and there was a nice flat spot for the tent. There was even flowers left for me on the picnic table which was a nice touch, and the host was wonderful and let me borrow a beach towel when I realized I forgot to pack mine, the only downside was it was noisy, I read others say that in their reviews, so it wasnt a suprise, but yes highways noise and overhead airplanes, I spent most of my days at the beach though so it gave a nice break, and Im a solid sleeper so it didnt disturb me, but I would have enjoyed the spot more if it was quieter.

Little Lake Retreat
Danielle’s land was a great getaway from the city. It was setup great for tenting. The picnic table was a nice touch for preparing and eating dinner and the fire pit was in a great location away from the tent and had some nice chairs for sitting. The washroom was fully stocked with toilet paper and the sunset over the lake was beautiful In the evening.
I would recommend bringing some water shoes if you want to swim though. The shoe is rocky and there is some water grass/ algae on the bottom. And the driveway is tight to get into if you had a large vehicle/trailer.
We went to keji seaside in the morning for a hike which was only about a 10 minute drive past Danielle’s property. We had a lovely stay and would recommend!

The spot was beautifu, peaceful and private. Perfect for my pup and I for a few days. I loved taking the paddle board out on the water and finding a sunny spot for my hammock.

Location wise: Perfect! As host described, farley close to many attractions such as trails and beaches. The only downside for us was that it's too close to the road. At times it felt like you're chilling at your friend's backyard that lives in a city, cause you could hear vehicles from both the highway and the road.
The place: Very cozy, clean and comfortable, as described as well. There's no clear and convenient access to the lake really, especially for kayaks (although it might be doable if you really want to and don't mind the "challenges").
The host: Danielle is very nice and thoughtful person. Quick to reply and willingness to help.

We are having a great time. Its perfect! The dogs have been so good. Just far enough from the road and the water. The dogs don't even know there is water! My husband brought the kayak and has been padding every day! We have the pop up camper in with little problems, but it wouldn't be good for someone without experience backing up campers or any bigger campers. Very little biting bugs, until after dark. Really enjoying our stay. Port Jolli

Great private camping! We had an amazing weekend, Danielle has the perfect set up to start your camping trip off well. Very clean and well maintained. Our dog was much more at peace here then other traditional camp grounds that have a lot of extra activity, he loved exploring the area!

Little Lake Retreat
I recently had the pleasure of camping at Little Lake Retreat near Kejimkujik Seaside. The location was absolutely lovely and peaceful, nestled in the woods by a lake. Despite camping alone, I felt completely safe throughout my stay, thanks to the well-maintained site and the attention to detail from the host, Danielle.
The natural beauty of the area was breathtaking, with lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature all around. It was completely private with only the occasional sound of a car driving by on the nearby road. It was a fantastic spot to relax and unwind.
The campsite itself was well laid out and clean, providing all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. I really appreciated Danielle's attention to detail, especially the little vase of wild flowers she left on the picnic table that let me know someone had recently been by the site, which really added to the overall sense of security and peace of mind.
I would highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a tranquil and safe retreat in nature. It was a truly memorable experience.

Awesome place to camp, quite secluded. Great setup with the table, toilet, place for tent and fire. Also, the lake is very beautiful and private. Close to many beaches/hiking and some cool towns.

Great site, there was a great outhouse cute fire pit area and picnic table. There was a sign that says watch out for a black bear and wolves. But we didn’t hear or see any wild life.

My partner, pup and I loved our stay on Danielle’s land! It has everything you need, fire pit with chairs, picnic table, outhouse and a beautiful lake. She recommended a bear by beach that was amazing!!! You could walk for miles!
