She's worth a visit! - TENT ADVANCED LEVEL LAKESIDE is by far the most beautiful; however, it is a small area, located on the edge of the property, and I can't be responsible for the neighbours to a certain extent. Fort Nova is your home for as long as you choose. Let's get campy! **KEEP IN MIND THAT THERE MAY BE OTHERS STAYING THERE** But there are multiple areas to choose from, including: the lawn, living amongst the pines, a forest clearing, or even lakeside (it's rough back there). For those with RV's, there is an exterior outlet and a water spigot, but please remember, others might be staying there so we need to play nice and share! Wow the pictures looked good but being there was a whole other kind of beauty. The spot is tranquil and perfect, Karen and Ben have everything you could possibly need! The cabin was nice and cozy at night and the view of the stars is incredible! Definitely already planning a return trip!

3 nights at Great Bras D'Or Waterside Camp

I booked, confirmed by email, three nights here as their ad offered full services, drove quite a ways to get there and was exhausted the first night when I arrived so went directly to the site and slept. Come morning, I went down to the house that the ad says has the kitchen, shower, toilet, water, electricity. All doors were locked. Took two hours for the owner to respond to my email and he responded that they were closed for the season and would offer a full refund. I requested a full refund then had to follow up to obtain it. Then I checked my records and see that I did not get the full refund. I had to email again and was advised by owner that I had to contact hip camp for the remainder. Waste of time I replied, for all of this. He then challenged me that I had somewhere to lay my head for the night for $10 and asked me if I liked the view. I only wasted $50 to get there, sleep, NOT shower and have amenities then had to find somewhere else and drive there. Terrible service.

Absolutely beautiful! What view! It's an off grid camping spot in the most beautiful area. There is an outhouse that was clean. Dan was quick to respond to any questions I had and check in to make sure I was okay or needed anything. That view though is everything. I would wake up looking out at that view everyday if I could. Also had 5g out there which was nice to still be connected. I will definitely be staying here again.

We surprised my parents with a stay at Bootsie Back 40 Cabin for their 40th anniversary, and it was absolutely perfect! The hosts went above and beyond with every detail. The cabin itself is so cozy and welcoming, surrounded by stunning fall colors that made the whole experience magical. My parents loved the peace and quiet — they spent their mornings sipping tea while listening to the birds sing. The hosts were wonderfully friendly and even took photos of my parents for me, which was such a thoughtful touch. They also got to visit the farm animals (including two emus!), which they absolutely adored. Thank you for helping me give my parents such a memorable and heartfelt experience. This will be a trip they’ll cherish forever!

This spot is absolutely gorgeous! If you are in need of a tech detox, this is the place! Environmentally conscious and well maintained, it is a fun space for families or for adults who want to take a break for the crazy pace of life. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful waterfront views from almost every site. We visited in early October so the campground wasn’t very crowded. Electric, water, fire ring and nice picnic table at our site. Older bathhouse with shower that was well maintained and clean. Would recommend staying here.

Great little spot. The wood stove made it very cozy and we had enough power for the water, lights and coffee in the morning. It was great having a camping experience while not having to take down tents in the morning. Recommend it if you're in the area.

A beautiful camp site. Perched in a field up on a hill side over looking the bay of fundy. A sweet spot. Very secluded. A 10 minute walk down to the beach where we had a nice walk at low tide. Chignecto Park in West Advocate was closed due to the drought so no hiking there. Otherwise though a great stay. Thank you!

My hosts upgraded my pitch due to unforseen issues prior to arrival and I can heartily recommend a bell tent. There's so many little extras that, for anyone mes used to camping, will make this a joyous place to stay. Would I come back? You betcha. Great communication, beautiful situation and as much peace and quiet as you want

My husband and I had a fantastic time at the chalet. Our first night in NV at Porter's land was a thrilling adventure in nature, with the delightful chorus of birds. I even had a refreshing dip in the lake, and we were up before sunrise to witness the stunning sight of the sun rising over the misty lake. It was an exhilarating experience in Porter's land, and we're already counting down the days until our next visit!

We absolutely loved MURPHYs campground! Ryan and gang were so friendly and helpful and the scenery and atmosphere were amazing. Such a relaxing wonderful taste of Nova Scotia As a former owner of a family business the character of the Murphy family shows in the care they show in all aspects of the property.
