We had the most amazing time at Sleep By The Sea! The campsite had everything we needed, the shower was hot, everything was clean, and the hosts were extremely kind. The provincial parks & hikes nearby were gorgeous as well. The views were also beautiful. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Extraordinary in every way. The site has so much to offer - great outdoor kitchen set up with grill, propane 4 burner cook top, running water…. Hot water outdoor shower, bathroom with flush toilet. Platform that you can pull your trailer right up to, or set your tent up on. Campfire area with wood, hammock, picnic table, screen room with chairs and small table…. AND it all looks out on one of the loveliest and most peaceful harbors I’ve experienced. Oh, and I forgot to mention a launch if you’re there to kayak! Jeffrey and his family are fabulous hosts. Friendly, but honor your privacy as well. Jeffrey is a great resource on the area, the islands, and local history. This was our 1st HipCamp experience, what a great start! We did not want to leave!
Jeff has set up a little piece of paradise here. Fantastic host and spot.. We will be back

This was our second time at this Hip Camp. what a beautiful peaceful spot (Definitely a peace of paradise)
Jeff and his family have made this into something very special.
Can’t wait to get back again.

Beautiful spot to explore 100 Wild Islands. Jeffery has thought of everything for a glamping get-away, with a beautiful hilltop view of the islands. The amenities are well thought-out and the access to boat launch is very convenient. It was lovely being able to have a campfire while overlooking the sunset over the water.
p.s. Note that there are two camping sites fairly close together and in full view/sound of each other.

Jeff and Tracy have done an outstanding job of making and taking care of a campsite with extras that really help, like a shower, an RV style bathroom and a sink for washing dishes. They were welcoming and kind and kept us informed of things of local interest. Jeff is brilliant and imaginative in the way he creates the camp space itself. The stars were brilliant too, and the harbor views were breathtaking. We would return in a heartbeat. We felt right at home.

This is a beautiful private spot! The owners are great to deal with and showed us to our site explaining all the amenities to us. We had an awesome stay and even got to see the Bluenose anchored right in front of our site!
Amazing site, all amenities included, host was very welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. Would stay again and recommend to others.
We had a great stay here. The site has an amazing ocean view and everything was really well thought out. Having running water, an on-demand propane hot shower, a little kitchen area with a propane stove, BBQ and picnic tables made camping really comfortable while still feeling like a private campsite.
The hosts were also incredibly attentive. We had an issue with the shower at one point, and the host came over right away and spent a couple of hours working on it until it was completely fixed. There was no delay at all. They also checked on the firewood regularly and made sure we had plenty throughout our stay.
You can tell they really care about the property and about making sure their guests have a good experience. Beautiful spot, great setup, and excellent hosts. We would definitely stay again!

Jeff and his family (especially Gunner 🐶) were incredible hosts! The campsite was immaculately kept with all of the modern amenities even while tent camping. There is clearly a lot of love and care put into building this campsite. It’s truly unique. We watched seals swim along the shore, loons dive for fish, and listened to the waves lap on the shore as we drifted off to sleep. We will be back!

Amazing. We were a large group and booked both sites. This space by far exceeded everyone’s expectations
Jeffreys land is spectacular. We had a large group and he was extremely accommodating. The view is breathtaking, and it is clear Jeffrey took lots of consideration in creating the space. Everyone had a fantastic time and can’t wait to go back. Best campsite yet!
Sleep by the Sea was one of the highlights of our anniversary trip. It was such a beautiful & peaceful place for some quiet time! Jeff & his family were so lovely & accommodating. You could see how much effort they put into maintaining the property with working toilets & hot showers. The scenery next to the ocean was unbelievable. We will definitely go back if we’re in NS!
We absolutely loved Sleep by the sea! Jeffrey and Tracey were fantastic hosts and took time out to be very helpful and welcoming. The views and amenities they have are fantastic. The flush toilet bathroom and the outdoor kitchen make a huge difference when camping. We will be back. Highly recommend:)

Best campsite i have ever seen. They got everything you just need your food and camp they have stoves, barbecues, restrooms. The view was great
Great communication. Jeffrey and her wife and son were very welcoming even if we check in late at 8:30 pm. Everything is clean, the view is perfect and we had everything we expected and needed. We had a great short stay and would go back there longer if I had the chance. Thanks

Impressed with what Jeffery and his family have achieved. Not only are they super kind and friendly, they have a very special place on the water where you can see the stars at night. It’s definitely a unique experience. Camp kitchen and fire are shared with other site, so if you want privacy and have enough people to book both sites, might be the way to go.

An incredible spot, so peaceful, quiet, and waking up to the ocean a stone throw from your site. It was awesome chatting with the host and learning the details and history of some of the islands. Such a great place to stay. Jeffery and Tracey really thought of everything. We made the best meals in the outdoor kitchen, took in the full panoramic view from the deck and even got to take a shower! This place is perfect for someone who wants to have time away from the hustle and bustle but also have a few luxuries (The best one being the bathroom haha).
Such a nice family too and you can tell they had fun building everything and are excited to add even more. Thanks for everything!
