This was one of the original homesteads in the Margarees. There was an old sawmill on site which was used to build the house and barn. It was sold to a man who started renovations for a summer house but ended up listing it for sale. I purchased it and completely renovated the 100-year-old house. Shortly after, my brother and I started an outfitting company with no plan of building a campground, but in 2017 we saw a great opportunity for building something unique. We wanted to keep a backwoods camping feel, but yet create it around a hostel-inspired environment. We launched June 1, 2018 and are in full swing now. This is a sweet little property of approximately an acre, though the whole lake is undeveloped. The site is treed with mostly mature trees and overlooks Little Robertson Lake. The lake is close, but the shoreline is not extremely easy to access. This campsite is private, but not remote. It is located close to a byway and you can drive in. There is not too much traffic on the adjacent road which leads to several white sand ocean beaches and trails along with Keji Seaside National Park and Thomas Raddall Provincial Park. All within a few minutes drive.

**The road to my property is open, Google is wrong**
Nestled in a quaint old Fishing Town is a 4-Acre Forest property that hasn’t been touched since 1885!
This land overlooks the North Atlantic Ocean, with a 25ft bank at the edge of the property, and almost 200ft of stone beach!
No potable water on this property (well water is available by hose for cooking/cleaning/showering), but 10 minutes by car, you’ll find a Sobeys, a pub, a Home Hardware, and small local shops that carry camping supplies and so much more!
There is a composting toilet being built, please either bury the bag when you are done, or double bag it and leave it in the garbage box at the end of the driveway.
As a septic system is now on the property, I am unable to provide access to the waterfront campsite for camp-cars/RVs/trailers.
30 min drive away is the infamous Martinique Beach, a very popular surfing spot!
Lots of hiking and site seeing available nearby as well.
A long driveway is the entry point to the camping site.
All I ask is that each camper leave the property better than they found it. As you depart, another camper is most likely arriving, so please keep that in mind.
Enjoy the peace under the stars, and fall asleep to the sounds of the waves breaking against the shore, and the leaves rustling in the breeze!

There is currently a Tiny Home on the property being built, and it is currently occupied by the property owner full-time.
Garbage pick-up in this area only allows one black plastic bag to be removed every 2 weeks. If your garbage is in a clear bag the city will take it and you can put your sealed garbage in a clear bag in the wood box at the end of the driveway. The city ONLY takes clear bags. Recycling is allowed in blue bags.
Due to this restriction, I am not able to handle all the campers garbage -- please take any that you create with you if you do not have clear bags.
If any camper is found to have stayed past the checkout time, they will be charged for another night's stay.

Our amenities also include: fishing rods, comfy beds, fresh drinking-water, refrigerator, 2 bathroom facilities, a hot outdoor shower, walking trails, microwave, and AC. The boat can sleep 5 guests, but a private raised glamping tent is provided for overflow if required.
Off property you will find: auto race watching (at Riverside raceway), hiking, biking, ocean fishing, and shopping activities. Downtown Antigonish is but a ten minute drive. The famous Highland Games comes in July along with the Lobster Festival in New Glasgow. The Eastern Nova Scotia Exhibition runs from Aug 27-31.
Want to swim at St. FX University swimming pool? Day passes are sold at the university. Of course ocean swimming at one of the 19, nearby, beautiful area beaches is totally free for all, so get wet and splash in the sea!
Sure, you can sit inside and watch one of our many DVD movies, but instead why not : explore nature, take a walk through the woods, talk to your wife, or friend, play with the kids, or throw a ball for your dog? If you want to relax, visit the golf course in town or just chill on the comfy deck. Do you want to ride, your bike on mountain trails, fish, visit a lighthouse or a petting farm? We have these close by too!
Wide-open highways make for smooth, fast, travel to places like New Glasgow, Pictou, The Cabot Trail or the ferry to PEI. (now 1/2 price) All are within an hour's drive.
At night, relax around the fire-pit after a long day of fun. Then have a sleep "extraordinaire” on board! (No waves to worry about with this boat!)

A beautiful and private spot situated on Tupperware Lake. The clever and practical details added to the site were terrific and much appreciated. We also appreciated how helpful Karen was. She really makes an effort to ensure you have what you need. We loved the kayaks and swimming off the dock about 50m offshore. The lake looks small but on the kayaks and canoe you can easily explore other extensions of the lake. Use the supplied life jackets of course! We definitely hope to return in the future!

We enjoyed our time at Live Life in Tents - staying for 6 nights. Great location for fishing the Margaree - close to a number of pools. Close to grocery store.
4 glamping tens and a ‘A’ frame structure for those without their own tents. Lee and his Team were friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome.
Glad we brought a screen tent along as there were some black flies, horseflies and mosquitoes. I am sure I will be back there on another fishing trip.

Lee’s land was so beautiful! We got to watch the strawberry moon through the trees and enjoyed every moment. In the morning, Lee made coffee and helped us plan some hikes for the following day. The bathroom worked well and communal sink made cleaning dishes easy. 10/10

Our stay was awesome! The place had all the necessary amenities and was peaceful and quiet throughout, with only the sounds of nature surrounding us. The kayaks and canoe were a lot of fun and made the experience even more enjoyable. We especially loved the decks overlooking the lake—the views were beautiful and so relaxing.
We also got to experience the camp during some rain, which added to the charm. Unfortunately, we couldn't have a campfire because there was a fire ban, but that was understandable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place to others.
