Weekend Trip to Lakewood Cabins

We have the absolute best time staying at Micheals cabin this past weekend. He is a fantastic host, very welcoming (He even came to us to show us a brand new chick he was keeping warm in his jacket!) The cabins are lovely, have everything you need for a comfortable stay in the woods. The local area is beautiful and we made some amazing steaks over the fire. 10/10 would recommend to anyone needing a little affordable get away!

Weekend Trip to Lakewood Cabins

I loved my stay in Michael's Woodland Cabin. It was the perfect blend of tiny house living and camping. The outdoor bath under the stars and short hiking trail in the forest through lush ferns and moss made my stay even more special! Perfect spot to unplug completely (or even sneak in a little work while enjoying the view of the mountains and reliable internet, to boot). Add in the easy check-in/out, quick responses to questions and friendly host means I will be back!

Weekend Trip to Raylia Cottage Farm Stay

What a perfect stay! Michele was a lovely host and the cabin was in such a beautiful, peaceful spot. I loved the vibe of the cabin, cosy with the option to make a fire (loved chopping wood), and lots of cosy dvds' and vhs's to watch on the couch. The cabin also had its own privacy (its far enough from the main house & has its own driveway) which was perfect for us. It's located in a super convenient spot too, probably the best part of the island to stay - right next to a few cute shops, coffee carts and a restaurant while still being tucked away in the woods. Also next to a lovely hike. Would highly recommend!!!

Our stay at Woodland Cabin in Chilliwack was wonderful! The cabin was cozy, and surrounded by peaceful forest. Michael was a fantastic host — friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. Weekend Trip to An Experience!-Golden Ears Glamping

Greg and Shelly are extremely kind and have such a beautiful home! Very clean and LOTs of appliances and fun things to do in and on the property. They had dry firewood ready for use and the hottub was hot and well kept. We had hummingbird visitors and were able to go down to the river and see salmon swimming! We used the bbq that was full of propane also. We are returning guests and highly recommend visiting! They were so generous to invite us to stay longer past the check out time as there were no guests after us so we enjoyed being able to sleep in and pack up without rushing. Very happy to be up in such a gorgeous area. Don’t hesitate to book with them!

We had an amazing stay at Michael’s place! The cabin and the bathroom were super clean and well maintained, which made our stay very comfortable. The whole property is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and you can really feel the care and love put into every detail. Michael was such a kind and helpful host — friendly, responsive, and always making sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting by the fire at night, watching the stars, and just relaxing in the quiet atmosphere. It was the perfect getaway from the city, and we’ll definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

The perfect 1 night getaway from the city. We are right for money right now but we wanted to get out of the city and Michael made that possible with his accessible pricing. He provided everything we needed so packing was light. The bathtub was a wonderful addition and both of us (both 6 foot plus) could fit comfortably inside. Will recommend!

This was a pretty great little spot. The cabin is small, but it had a good setup with a hotplate, sink, fridge, & microwave. There was a big very comfortable mattress in the loft. The bathroom wasn’t too far away across the parking area and it was well maintained, with a flush toilet and a sink. Everything during my stay was very clean. I walked down to the lake, and it was about 10 minutes on a nice trail through the woods which meets up with the main road just before the lake. Property has a horse, goats and other animals. It’s quite a nice place, the host was very friendly and I will definitely be back in the summer.

Welcome to Island Farm Camp, a peaceful 7-acre hobby farm on beautiful Hatzic Island in BC. Surrounded by lush greenery and open skies, our property offers a quiet escape just far enough from city life to breathe deep and slow down. Campers have access to a private field site, separated from other areas of the farm by an unused barn for added privacy. Whether you’re in a campervan, trailer, or tent, you’ll enjoy a spacious grassy area with a gravel pathway for easy access and a private fire pit (available when no fire ban is in effect). This is a dry, off-grid site—there are no hookups or on-site amenities, so guests must be fully self-contained, pack out all waste, and leave no trace. As part of your stay, feel free to say hello to our friendly flock of chickens who roam the farm and might just come by to greet you. You’re welcome to visit with them during your stay—especially a hit with kids and animal lovers! Though you may spot us around the property, the camping space is tucked away with plenty of room and privacy. Recently, as a family, we have seen a large increase in the people traveling to the Sunshine Coast to escape the city limits. Unable to rock up to a campsite and pick our spot like we used to, it was easy to see a growing demand. We have taken everything we love about camping and done our best to give you a sense of what life on the Coast is really about. Please note: By entering onto the property you release all liabilities towards us as hosts. You are choosing to camp in a forested area that contains many hazards as well as potential threats. These include but are not limited to; Wild life (bears, bob cats, cougars etc), Fire is a serious threat to this region during summer months strict no smoking policy is in effect. Care should be taken walking around uneven surfaces. All campers are required to stay within camp boundaries fail to follow these protocols will result in being asked to leave. My property is a magical private nature retreat created in the spirit of love and reverence for the land on which it is built. It is a sanctuary to nurture the body, mind and spirit. A place to come back to One's Self. I have taken a piece of forest and transformed it into a Premium camping experience with pastures, terraces, pathways, a pond and island, level campsites with grass and sand and a communal outdoor pavilion lounge with fully stocked kitchen at your disposal. A large communal campfire is available. I have solar showers too. This is a magnificent place to bring the kids, a wonderful place to hang with friends and family, a peaceful place for lovers and a great place to come on your own to remember how awesome and talented you really are. I can accommodate larger groups, workshops, parties and special events. Ask me about renting the entire site for your private event and family and friend gatherings. Please note, these are walk-in campsites. Park and make a short walk to your beautiful campsite. One large grass pasture is available upon request for car, campervan and RV camping. My fully stocked pavilion, kitchen and lounge has all the cookware, dishware and utensils needed to prepare your meal. There is also a BBQ and Coleman stove with propane provided. Drinking water is provided. Firewood is sold onsite for when campfires are permitted. Propane fire pit rentals available. For bathing I have cold showers and seasonal warm solar showers on hot days. Plus an aquifer-fed pond for clean, cold water dips. If you want something a little fancier I have a great little off-grid camping cabin and a Bell tent. Ask me about them. A beautiful mobile sauna care of Pranasauna is available for rent. Roberts Creek is a peaceful, eclectic, rural community seated between Gibsons and Sechelt, and possesses a stunning blend of beaches, forest, and some of the friendliest people you will come across. A relaxing atmosphere awaits you here, where both your artistic and outdoor adventure self is sure to feel at home. Please note I am two kms up a well maintained private gravel road. 2 wheel drive vehicles are ok.
