There's something that just makes you feel good being here. I looked at many properties before deciding on this one because "it just felt right". This flat terrain is rich in history. Pontiac Bay was fundamental in the logging era and held the local Trading post. The bay is nestled between Luskville Falls and Fort Coulonge Falls. As you drive here you will begin to feel a sense of calm within you as you glance out your right window to see the Gatineau Hills and to your left, you will see that you're winding your way along the Ottawa River. Or, if you decide to use the ferry crossing from Fitzroy Harbour on the Ontario side we're only 8 minutes from there. I have an old, but river-worthy canoe you may borrow but feel free to bring your own canoe, kayak, paddleboat or SUP to explore the land and inlets around the bay. Both sites have access to the boat launch. No toilet facilities at property so bring your own camping toilet or self-contained RV. P.S. You might want to stop in the village for the best french fries in all of the Outaouais region. You'll see the big red chip truck across from Marcotte's, the gas station as you leave the ferry terminal, if you're coming from Fitzroy Harbour. And yes, they make pulled pork poutine, pogos, burgers and zucchini sticks. If you're here on the weekend you may also want to check out the Bristol Farmer's market every Saturday from Noon to 3pm on the public beach in Norway Bay, only 20 minutes away. It's a lovely quaint community mixed with old and new unique cottages so you'll definitely want to take a drive around. And you'll surely want to visit the Vineyard and Vintage Car Museum, a 2-minute drive from here if you enjoy wine and cars (but not at the same time lol...unless the keys AREN'T in the ignition ha!). Google Domaine de Pontiac Village for hours and more information or message me. Visit Parc des Chutes in Fort Coulonge for a view of the waterfalls, zip lining over the gorge and obstacle courses. All we ask of our visitors is: that whatever you bring in you take home with you, that you leave your campsite and the property the way you found it, and the only thing you take from here are pictures and happy memories. All of our campsites are off-grid, un-serviced, drive-in camping. Campfire wood and recycling facilities are available on site. Maintained outhouses are available throughout the property. There is no potable water on the property so please bring your own drinking and cooking water. Children under 12 can camp for free. When booking a campsite please only include any guests over 12 years of age in your guest count. Children under 12 do not need to be included in your booking. Contact us to inquire about large group and event rates. We host LARPing weekends twice a month. We also have a limited number of seasonal sites available from June to September. I love this property and all the people who visit us, many have become extended family and for this I am grateful. There is nothing nicer than to have people drop by and spend a couple of hours, a day or a weekend, sometime when I get real lucky it's for a longer period of time :-)

We have an amazing spot next to a beautiful waterfalls which includes outdoor kitchen, screened gazebo, 10 person canvas bell tent with queen bed, sauna and propane fire pit. Swimming nearby, canoe and kayak available. Hundreds of hiking/biking trails right out the front door. Many excellent restaurants nearby, groceries/gas/SAQ are a 1 minute drive. Truly a tranquil experience!
