We loved the site and the animals were an added bonus -beautiful alpacas and horses. The walking paths were also scenic and peaceful.
The host was very friendly and helpful as well. Will definitely be back :)
Another couple of nights in this peaceful spot before they close for the season. As before, everything was perfect! We would recommend this place to anyone looking for an escape from the endless noise of city life. Looking forward to returning in the Spring.
Right from the moment I booked, Danielle and Elise were responsive, helpful and accommodating. Directions in to the site were very clear. The site itself was cozy, clean and quiet. I am a novice camper and this was my first solo trip, and I couldn't have asked for better. I highly recommend this spot if you just need a getaway and some recharging time!
Stayed here for two nights and everything was perfect. The site is really quiet and away from other activities and buildings on the property. Outhouse was an immaculately clean porta-potti a short distance away, which we had sole use of. Delicious eggs, plenty of wood, and Dannielle and Elise were such very friendly hosts. 100% recommended if you want peace and nature. We had a wonderful break and will definitely be back!
What a diamond in the rough. I feel so lucky to have stumbled on HipCamp as a resource and then lucking out with Davalon. It was a great place for a family camping trip with lots of space for tents, beautiful trials and landscapes, and oh yeah, alpacas and horses. Elise was responsive and supportive of us the whole time we were there.
Davalon Healing Forest is a little paradise. Such a beautiful camping spot surrounded by nature. If you are looking for a secluded place, extremely well maintained with a fantastic host, search no further…. This place is your next “Happy Place” ❤️
My friend and I stayed just one night at this destination but we both agree that we would strongly recommend it! The campsite was very clean and private not to mention how beautiful the property is! When we arrived we were given excellent directions to the site. There was access to a clean outhouse along with a picnic table, water and our fire wood that we added to our stay. The fire flies at night were amazing to watch by the fire:)
Very friendly host and an overall amazing experience! We got to meet some goats getting their weekly exercise and it was very quiet. There’s service on the campsite and a lot of places to drive to nearby! 10/10 would recommend

Spent one night at this site, and it was truly a lovely campsite! This site is extremely peaceful, it was just my friends and I in the vast land. If you’re looking to unwind, watch the night sky, and sunrise, look no further! The night sky here was so beautiful, especially in complete darkness. This site is called firefly quest for a reason. We were lucky enough to watch the fireflies sparkle in the field. This is a great place to get away from the busy life in the city. Dannielle and her daughter couldn’t be more welcoming and helpful, they are so lovely. This was a wonderful friendly campsite with peace and tranquility we were looking to experience. We would definitely recommend the alpaca bonding and healing with horses, it was truly an experience. Don’t forget to purchase some eggs for breakfast, they were colourful and delicious. We had a fabulous time and will be back again! Thank you for hosting us :)

Awesome place to camp if you want to be away from everything. It is a nice site right at the edge of the forest around 2 k into Dannielles property. Very quiet at night and no issues with animals or anything. The mosquitoes were thick but went away at night. I had purchased the wood add on and for $7 she provided us with enough wood to use for the 2 nights stay. Also provided 2 water jugs as well. There is a porta potty on site around 50 m away. Definitely recommend checking it out.
