51km from Kingston · 1 site · Tent, RVOn our farm, we have a lot going on—so much, in fact, that our horses, Kramer and Ty, don't get as much attention as they'd like! When you come to camp at Treegap Farm, it's just as much fun for them as it is for you.
After signing in at the house, you'll be shown to your own private Eastern Ontario oasis—10 acres of mixed meadow, woodland, and open blue skies... and, of course, the horses. If you've ever wanted to be best friends with a horse, now's your chance! They love cuddles, scratches, hugs, and posing for photos.
Kramer and Ty will keep you company throughout your stay. While you're welcome to set up your tent wherever you choose, the site also features a fire pit, an outhouse, and a network of trails the horses have made over the decades.
There are optional activities for guests of all ages, including a scavenger hunt, a treasure hunt, and nature crafts. While this is a private space, we're also located near a beach and a general store, making it easy to go for a swim or stock up on supplies.
In the morning, you can choose pickup or delivery for breakfast, featuring coffee with fresh biscuits and honey butter. Here at Treegap Farm, we're big supporters of rustic yet convenient camping. We provide potable water free of charge, and firewood is available for a small fee.
Please note that while the horses are gentle with people and love human company, they don't feel the same way about dogs. For the safety of your pet, dogs are not permitted on the property.
Kramer and Ty have both been trained for equine therapy and are exceptionally calm and "bombproof" on the ground. However, if someone gets on their back, they'll see it as an opportunity for a quick race! This is not a horseback riding experience, and sitting on or riding the horses in any way is not permitted. This rule is strictly enforced for everyone's safety.
