Welcome to our romantic off-grid retreat nestled between the picturesque towns of Perth and Westport! Tucked away in a beautiful 23-acre wooded property, our vintage caravan offers a cozy and charming escape for solos, girls retreat or couples seeking a romantic getaway. Surrounded by lush greenery and tranquil walking trails, our boho-chic caravan boasts plenty of south-facing light, providing a warm and inviting atmosphere. Whether you prefer basking in the sunlight or seeking shade under the canopy of trees or the hammock, you'll find the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The stars and sky at night are literally awesome and amazing. For families looking to join in on the adventure, there's ample room to pitch extra tents on our expansive property, allowing everyone to enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings. While our retreat offers a private setting, the main house is within sight, providing a sense of security and convenience. Nearby, a multi-purpose rail trail beckons outdoor enthusiasts, offering opportunities for hiking, cycling, or exploring nature. The beautiful town of Perth is a 15 minute drive away with Saturday morning market, cute mainstreet shopping or Stewart Park Festival in July as well as access to provincial parks or lakes and rivers within a 10 minute drive. W Our amenities cater to your comfort and convenience, a pump faucet for washing and a propane stove for cooking delicious meals, a power pack to charge your phone, solar and USB lighting. A fire pit area awaits, wood can be purchased ($10 - 5pc + kindling) at the site for cozy evenings under the stars. A library/art gallery/outhouse in the woods is a fun place to experience when nature calls. Wake up in the morning, make coffee or tea to start your next days adventure. This beautiful property is set on a quiet rural country road and is set far back from the road within the trees. Guests have access to 23 acres of woodland and trails as well as a cleared area to have a campfire and play frisbee. The vintage caravan has a built in double bed size and the dining area can be converted to a second double bed The house is within sight, enough to feel secure but far enough privacy is ensured and respected. Amenities include bed linens, towels and wash cloths for sponge bathing, soaps as well as an equipped kitchen with ice cooled fridge and drinking water supplied daily. Supplied coffee and tea with sugar and biscuits are only a boiled kettle away on your propane stovetop. Inside and outside Solar and USB lights and fan, small powerpac for recharging, firepit, hammock plus an adorable reading room/outhouse. Local railtrail for bikes or walking, nearby as well as access within minutes to launch kayak or canoes and swimming. Note no electricity or running water (nearby garden hose on request) however I will supply you daily with ice for the fridge, well drinking and washing water and recharge the power pack. If extra grocery supplies are needed all you have to do is text, order and pay at time of booking or before you arrive. This is a rural location so no store around the corner but if you are coming on a bike I can arrange to have your order of supplies on hand when you arrive as well as continental breakfast or boxed lunches, even dinners all preordered.

I was on an bikepacking trip with my partner and we found this gem. Elisabeth’s property is beautiful with plenty of space to throw a tent (or stay in the camper). She was very pleasant and welcomed us with a little history of the area, local spots to eat/shop and a fresh jug of water. The nights are quiet and we would definitely stay here again! It was a very cute spot, Elisabeth was a great host. Everything was easy to access, and she has the best and longest lasting firewood we've ever had. Campsite was well maintained and had everything we needed. Cozy and chic.
