His name is Willy and he is the friendliest kid! Come visit him in our "Agri-gallery" goat barn. From our gardens, we harvest fresh vegetables for sale daily (seasonal), fresh eggs, and raw honey from our hard-working bees. We're a quick 25 minute drive to Napanee, and 40 minutes to Kingston. Our property is located 5 minutes from the free ferry to Picton, Prince Edward County. It's a convenient location for exploring historical Loyalist sites, the Tyendinaga Caves, breweries and wineries, Sandbanks Provincial Park, Lake on the mountain, and for fishing in the renowned Hay Bay. There are many nearby water access points including beaches and boat launches. We have 2 kayaks and 2 standup paddle boards available for half-day or full day rental. This is a great place for couples, families, or a girls trip away from it all; it's also an LGBTQ-friendly environment. If you want privacy and seclusion this is your place . Our family lives on 80 acres 8 minutes from the town of Campbellford. We are on a dead end road out in the country. Upon arrival simply turn into our driveway and drive right past our house following the dirt path. Turn left just down the hill to the River. We are located on Bradley Bay on the Trent river with kms of lock free boating between Percy Boom and Glen Ross . We are located across from an island called Anderson island. Pike, pickeral, bass , Muskie ,channel cat ,and pan fish are in these waters. Our point is very private with plenty of birds and wild life to watch . We have one of our trails marked clearly threw out the woods for you to enjoy . We have a complementary canoe, 2 adult kayak, 2 adult SUP and 1 child’s kayaks . Life jackets and boat safety kits are also available . On the point we have a small fire pit and 2 docks. 1 of the docks face the river and one is up our little lagoon . A wonderful place for adults and children alike to fish , swim , relax and catch frogs and fire flies. The point is a long narrow grassy area. There are about 3 spots you could park a trailer . We think currently the max length would be a 24 foot trailer we could accommodate until we are able to open up the area a bit more. A small fishing boat about 14 foot and under could be launched at our water entry otherwise the closest public launch is about 5 minutes down the road . If we plan it ahead we have water from our well from a hose available. We are happy to let you fill your trailer up with water from our house hose on the way down to the point or any jugs you may have. Otherwise Ferris Provincial Park is about 7 minutes away. There is a water filling station and dumping station there for a small fee from the park. Things to do In area is the well known suspension bridge located in Campbellford. Doohers bakery and the Empire Cheese Factory and Chocolate Factory all within 10 minutes from our house . We also have local Breweries in the area, one being about 8 minutes away called the Fogorig Brewing. Campbellford is full of little shops and stores. It’s a beautiful walk back towards our house and down the laneway to the road as well. Great quiet country road for children and adults alike to go for a bike ride or walk along the road beside farmers fields where usually deer and sandhill cranes are seen. We usually touch base with our campers a week or so before there arrival date to give exact directions to our house via Hipcamp message. Upon arrival if arranged ahead of time we can be here to meet and greet you and ensure you are settled in. Otherwise there isn't a guarantee we will be at the property upon arrival but we can ensure that we will always have someone by phone for you to reach if need be at all times.

Our land is very private and beautifully sheltered by trees all around the campsite. There is an open field as well that also has trees on the outskirts. A video is available upon request! Fenella is a small village about 7 min away that has a large convenience/ grocery/Beer store as well as gas stations and Canabis beyond belief ! Go carts, food trucks and the best Butter Tart Factory as well! Warkworth is a town east of us about 20 min and Cobourg is 20 min South of us. Many shopping experiences available. Primrose Donkey Sanctuary is down the road a few minutes which we highly suggest visiting. Look their hours up before planning a visit! We have easy access up our road about 1 km to the Northumberland Trails where you can ride your horses, cycle, ride your ATVs,walk or jog. We have goats and can provide goat walks on our own trails. Goat walks are about 30 minutes generally and $15 per walk. Our own Free Range eggs are available for $7/doz as well as firewood for $10 per bundle Dogs are welcome as long as they are constantly on a leash, as we have chickens that free range! We ask that you bring your own water and hydro please. We hosted 35-40 endurance horses and their riders in August of 2022! We welcome tents and all trailers!

Fifthwind farm is located high on a hilltop in Northumberland county. Our farm is only 10 minutes north of Cobourg yet feels tranquil and remote. The view is spectacular…on a clear day New York State is visible. Our Bunkie is fully insulated and cozy on cold winter nights. The Northumberland Forest is quite close and it offers many cross-country ski trails. Because of the cold weather, our outdoor shower it’s not operable during the winter months. Lucille and Joe have a wonderful place! I went here with my family for a long weekend and their property exceeded our expectations! It was clean, relaxing, and overall a beautiful spot! Definitely a hidden gem! My favourite part was the river right on our camp site, the sounds of the water was so peaceful. We will definitely be coming back!

Henry & Johana are really nice people and are so welcoming, they offer coin laundry on site & have a pool, trampoline, zip line, lots of room to walk around, huge garden!! We love the area and our stay was amazing at their RV site! We definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place near New Castle, about 30m drive but so worth it! We will deff come back next year and will be booking early!

I love staying at Matt's land. Super responsive to message. He brang us a fire pit on our spot because there were no other camper. Would definitely recommand.

Weekend Trip to Harrowsmith Brewing Co.

Great night with genuine hosts excited to share space, beers and experience building out the barn/brewery. Easily accessible restrooms adjacent to the main barn. We car camped (but there are spots for tents). Really excited we stopped in for a memorable experience. Once they are fully open, don’t be surprised for live music and a festive crowd.

Sweet spot to stay for the night while travelling on the Toronto - Montreal corridor! Friendly host that went out of his way for our short stay. Space for the kids to run around, kick a ball and seek adventures around the barn after a day of driving. The washrooms were clean and kept open. The host even brought a picnic table for us. We'll stop over here again when travelling on this route!

I had a wonderful time camping at the Harrowsmith Brewing Company. I live in Massachusetts so going camping in Ontario involves a lot of driving. I enjoy driving route 12 from utica to Watertown instead of 6 hours on the NY state thruway To Buffalo. After Crossing the border at the Thousand islands bridge it was only a half hour to the Brewing Company. When I arrived they were hosting a double birthday party and had a pretty good guitarist playing his modified covers. Matt who runs the Company with his father Was there to welcome me, show me the camp sites and yes even made me a pulled pork sandwich. The beer is excellent the location is excellent and the people are great !!! Matt made sure I had everything I needed. The bathrooms are clean and comfortable with hot n cold running water and plenty of counter space & a large mirror if you need to shave or… Five stars no hesitation recommending Harrowsmith Brewing Company. Matt is very responsive so if you're considering a trip just reach out and he can answer any questions you may have. Thank You Matt and Holly and Matts Dad & Greg the tap tender for a wonderful evening. I look forward to returning on my next trip to Canada.
