We have owned the property for 19 years. The camping area was once a gravel pit which was rehabilitated in 2020. There is agricultural land that is farmed in the summer as well we host bees at that back of the property . A unique feature on the property is a natural spring that bubbles up and feeds the two streams on the property.

Weekend Trip to Nuevo Malacatos
Tara is a very considerate host and made every effort to make me feel welcome and supported with tea and coffee, fresh veg and access to washroom and shower too. She gave me good tips on a nearby swimming hole, set me up with Internet and introduced me to the chickens and goats. The view over the hill is lovely and watching the chickens roam around the boats and classic car was delightful. I found the loft too hot but, then I learned I could sleep on the sofa bed instead which was easy and comfortable. The sound of the highway is close by and more noticeable at night. I made sure to load up on their fantastic eggs before leaving.

My dogs and I had a great couple of days exploring the land, enjoying the tranquility and the amenities that were offered. Brent took the time to show me around, a brief and friendly hello from Susan...wonderful people! They truly made me feel welcome and I'm sure should I have needed anything they would have been there. I was lucky and had the whole place to myself which was extra special. Great place and great people!

Brent was amazing! He greeted us with a warm welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Despite the weather, we had a great time at the A camping site, especially with the canopy provided and the unlimited firewood. The trail was really great to experience, and the campsite itself was huge. They even gave us some free puffball mushrooms to try! The cabin was very clean, and we couldn’t have asked for more. We would definitely go back!

Beautiful camping sites. There are 4-5 camping sites on the property not too far from each other. We were the only ones there so we got to take a look around. The grounds were beautiful and we got lucky and enjoyed extra privacy. My doggy and I had the best time!

Weekend Trip to Edges Sideroad Springs
We really enjoyed our stay at the A-frame (two adults plus dog). The area is beautiful with a pond nearby and trails going through the property. The cabin was clean and comfortable and felt private. Even though there are other campsites on the property, for the most part, we felt like we had the place to ourselves.
The host was very friendly and so helpful, even taking the time to show us how to build a proper campfire. Despite being out there over a rainy weekend, we had a great trip. So whether you're a seasoned camper or someone thinking of giving camping a shot for the first time, this is the perfect place to stay.

My husband and I had a great stay in the A-frame! Everything we needed was provided which was such a great way to camp. The A-Frame was very clean. I’m so used to cabins having spider webs, but this one didn’t have any! It’s a very quiet space, far enough away from other sites, we didn’t even end up seeing anyone else our whole visit. The fire pit had seats and a picnic table provided, plus a grate to put over the fire to cook. The $15 unlimited wood was the perfect touch to have everything we needed. This was our first time in this area and we found so many fun things to do. We went to the town of Durham for coffee and bubble tea. We went to Hogg Falls, McGowan Falls, and Eugenia Falls. Our favourite coffee shop was one called Valley Espresso! And our favourite meal was at a food truck called Good Child- such amazing food. I would 100% recommend this camp!

Space was exactly as pictured. Beautiful surprises such as little gardens on the property and really thoughtful touches throughout. Lots of space for the pup to run around, he had an absolute blast, he did not stop playing throughout our stay - slept for two days when we got home! There were games provided that we indulged in (such as cornhole) and there were lots of trails to explore. Very quiet and peaceful. My only suggestion would be that during the buggy season (such as June) that perhaps there could be a bug screen (even a magnetic one) across the door so the door can stay open for ventilation (as it’s also very hot these days), and will leave the space relatively bug free as well as cool.
Really enjoyed our stay. Wood was amazing, fantastic fires. Stars were incredible as well. Would come again :)
