Our 50 acre parcel would have comprised much of the maple bush for the original 400 acre farm property. The stone fence rows and laneways lined with large boulders are remnants from the days or horse drawn carriages, likely put in place hundreds of years ago. In addition to the maple bush there are several acres of cedar bush, open wild flower meadows, as well as fields dotted with larger shade-giving trees. A small half acre of the property is used to farm fresh cut flowers which you are welcome to visit. We also have a kitchen garden, 10 egg-laying hens, 2 very friendly outdoor cats, and our black lab Abby who will likely greet you with a bark (she is very friendly). In the summer months you can enjoy a handful of lakes for swimming and boating all within 10-15 minutes of our property. We are happy to share details and locations. The land is framed by the historic Bruce Trail to the north, Billy Bishop airport (only a few small prop-private flights daily) to the west, Concession 6 N on the East, and Highway 26 on the south end of the property.   There is a forest on the north end of our land where the bruce trail runs through (C) and the farm sits more to the south end (A). There's a pine-forest that one has to hike into (B- see map in photos). Generally, the area is close to swimming in Lake Huron, the property is large (100 hectares) and the neighborhood is large grain. This means you can have a chunk of the forest all to yourself. For area A you can drive in the main driveway and park by the house/ barn or on the field. Or walk to a camping spot. No 4 wheel drive is necessary. Please stay away from the Barn as it is dangerous to be close by.  For area C you can access the fields from Concession 6 N at one of the gates past (North) of the driveway. You will need a 4-wheel drive to not get stuck in the field. Please do not park on the agricultural field.  For area B You will park your car behind a gate right off Highway 26 and hike in to find a site to pitch a tent. There are about 3 spots for cars behind the first set of Pines. You might need a 4-wheel drive.  It's completely up to you where you set up camp. We ask that you do not light any open fires as this is a coniferous forest. Feel free to walk in as far you want to find your spot. If you walk too far you will come up to a field and the farmhouse. We ask that you do not camp on the agricultural fields.

Our camping sites are located towards the back of our property, so a 5-10 mins walk is required to get to your site. We can provide a wagon to help transport your supplies. THE AREA You will have access to 700+ acres of conservation/county forest beginning at your campsite. You can walk out of your tent and explore! There are 2 small lakes within a short drive of Dusty Hills. McCullough Lake is about 5 minutes by car or an easy bike ride to the public beach. Williams Lake is less than 10 minutes by car and also has public access. We are a 10-minute drive from Kinghurst Forest, which is 370 hectares of old-growth forest designated as an Area of Natural and Scientific Interest (ANSI). Centrally located, just south of the Bruce Peninsula -- you will be perfectly situated for day trips to Georgian Bay or Lake Huron. The sandy beaches of Port Elgin, Southampton or Sauble Beach are a 40-minute drive. Access points to the Saugeen River for fishing/paddling are also nearby. LOGISTICS We are a short bike ride away from the town of Williamsford, which contains a sprawling bookstore/café in an old mill, the famous Williamsford Pie Company, and a well-stocked convenience store (LCBO Licensed). Any other shopping needs can likely be satisfied in Owen Sound, 20 minutes north of us. We can provide drinking water, and have folding tables and chairs for your site if you would like them. Please note: Small group camping only (6 person max per site). No parties. No late arrivals. No ATVs. Any children must be supervised by an adult at all times. All flammable materials, including cigarettes, are to be extinguished and packed out. There is no garbage disposal, please take away the garbage you create. We had a great time staying at Camp Kyle. Natalie was very friendly and inviting. The Cabin and outhouse were very clean. There was an outdoor kitchen available with propane burners/grill. Great for heating up or making a meal. A large fire pit and plenty of outdoor space surrounded by a beautiful landscape. The wood stove inside the cabin was a perfect addition as we were able to stay warm during the night. Thank you for sharing your land with us.

3 nights at Stillwater Bunkie and RV Site

Our visit to the Stillwater Bunkie was a great few days! We had private access to a lake, a well-maintained firepit and composting toilet, and a cozy bunkie. Despite being out at the Bunkie in mid-November, we were able to keep very warm inside the Bunkie with the wood burning stove and the provided propane heater. The Bunkie and property came stocked with lots of thoughtful supplies (ex some basic dishes and cutlery, water for washing dishes and 4L of drinkable water per day, blankets, pillows, toilet paper, hand sanitizer, BBQ, firewood, marshmallow roasting sticks, axe, etc). The sofa bed and loft bed were very comfortable! The use of the fridge in their garage and a portable power station in the Bunkie are huge bonuses that many other listings don't provide. The listing mentioned an outdoor shower which we thought would be working but wasn't connected. Not a big deal for a few days but it definitely changed how we planned to keep clean and fresh. Colin was very easily accessible via messaging on this app and was quick to provide any extra supplies we required during our stay (for example, a garbage bin as listed in their welcome/info binder provided inside the Bunkie). Overall, we enjoyed our time out at the Stillwater Bunkie and I would recommend it to others! See

This was a magical and tranquil camping escape. The waterfront spot was perfectly quiet and peaceful. The clear skies and zero light pollution provided phenomenal stargazing nightly. Chris was very generous host. He provided us an abundant and complimentary supply of firewood. It made our evenings effortless and cozy. We will definitely return!

My partner and I stayed at Emily’s Yurt this past thanksgiving weekend 2025 as a last minute booking. Emily accommodated our stay and was very quick to respond. The yurt was stunning, we’ve stayed at many hip camps and this was by far the best experience. From a eco friendly outhouse with a wood chip system, very clean and well stocked with necessities. The yurt had all supplies needed, along with many games and other activities to do. Can’t thank Emily enough for sharing her beautiful property and being so welcoming.

What a lovely weekend we had at Ivan's property 😀 He's a wealth of knowledge about native fruit trees & berries. The front of the property has an extensive orchard that Ivan has worked on for ten years. Check his booth out at the Meaford Farmers market if you have the chance! The campsite was in a lush grassy area neighboring a cover crop plot that provided lovely views. An old fire pit was provided and we made good use of it. The farm is close to town and you can easily make a visit to owen sound/ thornbury/ Collingwood to flesh out a full weekend trip. We had a blast and highly recommend 👌
