Our 50 acre parcel would have comprised much of the maple bush for the original 400 acre farm property. The stone fence rows and laneways lined with large boulders are remnants from the days or horse drawn carriages, likely put in place hundreds of years ago. In addition to the maple bush there are several acres of cedar bush, open wild flower meadows, as well as fields dotted with larger shade-giving trees. A small half acre of the property is used to farm fresh cut flowers which you are welcome to visit. We also have a kitchen garden, 10 egg-laying hens, 2 very friendly outdoor cats, and our black lab Abby who will likely greet you with a bark (she is very friendly). The place is nice. Very quiet. One hiccup we had no hydro for the 4 days we were there. Hydro line was malfunctioning and needed a electrician to come fix it. A good thing we had our generator, extra fuel on board. Hopefully next time things will be better. Ps Not a swimming spot! just paddle boarding or kayaking if you don't mind marsh waters to get to bigger waters to swim.

I loved camping with my Grand Caravan on Ivan‘s land at The Hive site. It was easy to access yet very peaceful. A great sunrise and sunset full of nature sounds. It’s a sunny site but perfect for going off to one of the Georgian Bay beaches during the hottest times of day. When I arrived Ivan also said I could camp further back in the fields if I wished. Ivan was friendly and helpful and there were wonderful fresh berries for sale. Everything was as described or as shown in the pictures.

Love camping in my tent over the weekend on Ivan’s property. He let me freely choose the site as long as I kept off the plowed areas which worked out really great for me. Neighborhood is nice and quiet. The lake and city is not too far away with hardware stores and restaurants. Will definitely come back in the near future

Back 2 Zen is a private, tranquil camping spot thriving with an abundance of greenery and good vibes! We camped during very hot weather and were able to live and sleep comfortably due to the surrounding forest and short commute to the water. The highlight of our stay was the complete and total privacy offered, which is hard to find during the summer camping season. Communication with the hosts was quick and efficient. Fantastic camping site!
