Come camp on a 40-acre parcel backing onto crown land mountains and wake up in front of 10 acres of vineyard and a view of Okanagan Lake! There is a small cabin and two camp sites to choose from. Site 1 is best suited for tents and small campervans, less than 18' or so (though people with small trailers like tear drop campers have been fine). Site 2 has a much larger flat area that can hold RVs up to 30'. Cabin available for those that want to sleep in a cozy bed and have a warm fire :) Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. When guests are seeking to soak up nature and wildlife, you won't need to leave the property. The seventy-five-acres, include, pine and larch forests, wetlands and trembling aspen groves. Trails wind through the different areas allowing for photo opportunities. You are welcome to say hello to our horses, our chickens and our sweet golden retriever. We are happy to have canine guests; however, for the safety of our resident pets, we require prior approval. The property has many resident squirrels and chipmunks. Other wildlife, such as Whitetailed deer and moose pass through regularly. Occasionally a bobcat, lynx, bear or elk venture through.

Weekend Trip to A piece of the salmon valley

We were a group of 6 in 2 camper vans and a truck tent and the site by the gazebo was great. We enjoyed the views and got to wake up to horses grazing in the pasture. There was lots of space, it was flat, and there was a campfire ring right there. Good group camping spot. Ken was also so friendly and helpful. Such a great host. Charlie (the dog) came to visit as well, so we got to enjoy his company each day too. Would definitely stay here again!

Weekend Trip to Back Forty Vineyards

Camp 1 handled our Class B. I rented both sites and our friends were introduced into Hipcamping using site 2. Their trailer a small to medium size fit easily there with a drive through setup. The two camps are closer together for RVs but further apart of tents campers. The camp property is a very short drive on a large dirt road. It is located at a 600 foot elevation above town, we decided not to ride the bikes to town due one rider uses a three wheel bike which needs more space. The condition was OK but could be checked for trash we try to pickup what was there. It was great having access to water being that this was our fourth stop on this trip. Great to be in the country with a sea of grapes and lake in you front view. We did see and hear turkeys and other wild life. The gate needed to be opened and closed it could use a tune-up.

Nice grassy place, level and clean. The camps are well spaced and is definitely the best we have been to. We have a class B so we just rotated to suit our needs and we were setup. The posting does show the camp well. If you go to town on a Sunday get there before 3pm.

Really enjoyed ourselves at Pink Pumpkin. Nice site, easy to back into with our 26' stem to stern travel trailer. Power and water- very peaceful. Host is very good in getting back to you if you have a question. Had a great looking buck come up to our window on our last morning.

We stayed here so we could go to the Armstrong fair. It was a lovely spot away from the hustle-bustle of the fair, even though it was only a short drive to Armstrong. Clean porta potty, tidy sites, lovely host! I'm a very light sleeper and I had to wear ear plugs as some of the cars that drove along the back roads were super loud. But my family wasn't bothered... just a note for the light sleepers to have ear plugs. Heard owls in the night. Definitely recommend this spot.
