Please note: The road is a dirt road, please check local weather prior to arrival, ground may be soggy if it's been raining recently. When it rains, some of the areas may get muddy. Please reach out to Host with any questions about this. There are walking tracks or bike riding for kids, if you have a horse or pony you can bring them along too. How about a game of outdoors skittles or spot the native plants, pick a citrus fruit or maybe spot a wallaby, echidna, possum or laugh with the kookaburra's. There is a natural stone campfire where you can sit at night or meet other campers, or just to sit and gaze at the stars. Tales of the past might be spoken if asked. The little quaint villages that surround Federal are great for a visit. If you want the best sushi in the area then stop at the popular Doma Cafe next to the general store in Federal, you will want to visit more than once after your taste buds have been awakened. Byron bay is a 15-20 min drive on a scenic drive, or visit the biggest little town in Australia Mullumbimby a 15-18 min drive. Bangalow and Lennox heads, Lovely beaches at Brunswick Heads or Ocean Shores are all within 35 min drive the choice is yours. Magical Minyon Falls with its powerful and wonderful waterfalls and uninhabited valley is a must. Don't forget to go bushwalking while you are there. There are also other national parks like mount Jerusalem that are close by. The farm does have orchards. Slashing and planting of vegetables will be happening soon everything is organic. If you would like to purchase some organic farm jam just let me know. The stone wall entrance was constructed at the turn of last century and you feel like you have stepped back in time as you imagine those who came across the area as they were amazed at what the area had to offer. Remember it is the Australian bush so there could be snakes just. as there is with all bush in Australia about depending on the time of the year. There is a first aid kit on the property. The local hospital is in Byron 15 minute drive away. A toilet is completed. We have had a celebrity stay for a weekend so you never know who you will see. There are celebrities that live in Federal so you may bump into one. If you arrive without placing a booking, you will be turned away. Coorabell creek farmstay is 30acres of hilly country made up of a mixture of forests, gullys, creeks and horse paddocks. the main camping site is the creek flat in a large shady area with a swimming hole in the freshwater springfed creek with campfire and log seats. there is an alternative camping site for wet weather in the front stone circle paddock 50mtrs from the creek bank. this area is a grassed paddock with morning shade but full sun throughout the day. there is no mobile reception on the property but a short walk up the driveway a few hundred meters away you can get reception at the property entrance should you need to make calls or get/snd msgs.. Property is located 8mins from the Pacific highway, 10mins from Mullumbimby or 18mins from Byron bay township pubs, restaurants and surfing beaches. Approximately 20mins drive to Brunswick heads surfing beaches or Byron surfing beaches. National parks for hiking or horse riding within 20mins drive. Can accommodate 2 horses in paddocks ($10per horse per night.) and parking space for horse float should you wish to bring your horses and enjoy some trails or beach riding in the area, I can give more information on places to ride on request. other activities that can be booked at additional cost include Didgeridoo Making workshops for adults and didgeridoo painting workshops for kids. this is a full day activity for adults and a half day activity for kids doing didgeridoo painting workshops. please enquire for more info and prices. You will feel like you are immersed in the beauty of nature here and yet you are only 6 minutes easy drive from the village of Dunoon, NSW 2480 and 45 minutes beautiful country drive from glorious Byron Bay beaches and it's very exciting night life! On every second sunday of the month, the Channon Markets are on, which is just 10 minutes drive from camp. Sorry, we can't cater for dogs due to camp being a native animal sanctuary. Dunoon village is cute yet, very practical. There is a general store, bottle shop and they sell ice, Mechanic, Post Office and the best bit, you can even go out for dinner or lunch depending on the day, at the Dunoon Sports Club/ Pub or Channon Tavern, then head back to your secluded country camp and cool off in the beautiful creek or warm up and enjoy some quality time around the camp fire!

Camp under shady trees or in a grassy paddock. We are 10 mins from the Brunswick Heads rivers and beaches. Simple amenities including an outdoor shower. You can purchase firewood or bring your own. Dogs permitted as long as they are kept on a leash or kept within the campsite and it's left clean. All rubbish must be removed. Restricted numbers so you can be sure you won't feel overcrowded. Contact us if any days aren't available as we often get cancellations. There's a country feel yet it's 3 mins away from the thriving township of Mullumbimby. The Mullumbimby Showground is located along the Brunswick river, 2 km from the Mullumbimby township and stretches over 22 acres. The people of the Bundjalung nation are the traditional custodians of the land on which it stands. We welcome festival and event campers to the Mullumbimby Showground. The Showground is nestled under the gaze of the majestic Mount Chincogan and is 1.3 km west of Mullumbimby's vibrant town centre. The grounds are open to the public for recreation and enjoyment. Enjoy the beautiful facilities and welcoming vibes at the Mullum Showgrounds. The campground offers spacious powered and unpowered campsites. With our refurbished amenities building, you can be assured of a comfortable stay. Laundry facilities available. The Showgrounds hosts the weekly North Byron Farmers Market on Friday mornings where you can easily stroll over to buy farm fresh produce, breakfast and coffee. We are a 1.3km walk away from Mullumbimby town centre with a range of cafes and eatery's, two supermarkets, banks and other services and retail shops. It is about a 15 minute drive to Brunswick Heads with its beautiful river, estuary and beaches, and about 30 minutes to Byron Bay. The Showground hosts a number of events throughout the year. Some of these are events are ticketed and therefore the Showgrounds is closed to all but ticketholders. See our 'What's On' page on our website for more information. The Food Hall and stunning grounds can be hired for events, weddings, exhibitions and festivals.

With no nearby lights or noise, it’s a solid spot for stargazing and switching off. You can swim, fish, or just camp by the water. If you're here at the right time, you’ll also see our flower crops in bloom across parts of the property. Evenings are simple—campfire, clear sky, no distractions. Private site single group ,site toilet,nobody within 200metres. listed on wikicamps Located at The Channon, we are not far from the well known towns of Nimbin and Lismore (both 20kms away but in different directions) and Byron Bay which is 40km away. Our property is an easy walking distance to the local village where you will find the shop/ general store and the pub is dog friendly. It's around 1km to The Channon Craft Market grounds, and the markets are on the second Sunday of each month. Lots of crafts, clothes, jewellery, gifts, food stalls and entertainers to see and enjoy. This campsite is located right on the banks of the flowing creek. It's a private site with access to two good swimming holes. Enjoy warming your feet around the campfire in the evenings, subject to fireban conditions. We welcome only self-contained campers who bring their own camping shower and drinking water. There is access to rubbish facilities. For those wanting to explore a bit further we are 15kms from Nightcap National Park and the beautiful Protesters Falls. There is a walking track that leads through lush World Heritage rainforest right up to the falls. Well behaved pets are welcome. No hunters
