One Green Sheep is a 500 acre working farm north of Bindoon, Western Australia, with beautiful breakaways and valleys, patches of natural vegetation and old stand trees in amongst pockets of cropped land. We are just over an hour from Perth at the very north end of the Darling Range with enormous starry night skies. My husband Kim and I have a strong focus on the environment and sustainability in our every day lifestyle and care for the land. Over the last 9 years we have planted just over 54,000 trees and shrubs successfully establishing wildlife corridors right across the property. We now also have 8 artificial nest tubes to support the Carnabys black cockatoos who return each August to breed. Our intention is to leave the land in a better state than when we first came here and we now want to share the wonderful environment with others, providing a place to get away and recharge as well as get excited about nature and all its wonders. In line with our environmental focus, we ask campers to Leave No Trace. This means you will need to have your own toilet facilities with you, you will need to take all your rubbish away with you and leave your car parked for the duration of your stay. As fallen timber is precious habit for small creatures (it’s not firewood!) you will need to either bring firewood with you, or you can purchase some from us. Dogs are welcome but please keep them with you and don’t let them chase stock or wildlife. You are welcome to bring push bikes, or to explore on foot. We’d love to welcome you to this wonderful ecosystem. You will be camping in an area natural bush that feels a million miles from the city.

Birdsong Corner at One Green Sheep
Super quiet, pleasantly isolated.
My wife and I loved our time spent at Birdsong Corner. We got in and out with our 19ft semi off road caravan no problem. Lovely views and plenty to explore including the natural soak at the bottom of the hill. Super quiet, pleasantly isolated.

Perfect spot for Peace and Quiet!
If you're looking for some peace and quiet, this is the place to go! Beautiful camping spot in a natural bush setting, it was so quiet and relaxing, you can not see or hear any other campers from this spot, you are totally secluded. A well-cleared area to set up your tent and a campfire ring are provided. We woke to the beautiful sounds of kookaburra's laughing and magpie calling. Lovely host as well. We met Kim who took us to our campsite and delivered the firewood we had ordered. Everything went perfectly, with no hassles at all, we loved staying here.

Birdsong Corner at One Green Sheep
Birdsong is a lovely escape
Derrin (the host) met me and showed me to the campground. She was a lovely host. Birdsong itself is a beautiful spot and I was free to go walking around the area which was beautiful. The bird song and activity is pretty much constant, and I thoroughly enjoyed observing and listening. The site is flattish, some levelling needed but all good. It is gravelly not muddy which was also good. I certainly hope to return and plan to bring friends with me. Thank you Derrin for a lovely break away in the bush.
