Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
You camp on 51 acres next to a creek in total privacy. There are 3 large dams where you can go for a swim or do some fishing. We have got horses and wildlife. Situated only 25 mins from the glorious Noosa Beaches & restaurants, 15 mins to the quaint village of Eumundi with trendy cafes & well-renowned markets, & 90 mins to Brisbane, this very appealing, magnificent, private rural retreat provides the perfect getaway. Important: One site = 1 vehicle. If you have 2 vehicles, please book 2 sites. This is to ensure we control the number of vehicles impacting our land. Due to having horses/dogs/wild birds on the property, if you wish to bring a pet, it is to be on a leash/dog run at all times. See further detail during booking. Lovely place away from it all. Some very friendly and inquisitive cows who want to say hello roaming around the place. Only stayed one night but totally worth it. Highly recommended if your after somewhere quiet. Also a fire pit and bbq gear available if you want to cook, with a covered eating shelter.

The Hidden Valley Retreat is essentially a paddock with no toilets, showers and a fairly run down stage area - which we were not using. They had allocated a very small area for our 6 caravans/ trailers and for over $90 per night I consider it poor value for money. Having said that the host was reasonably responsive to contact prior to the weekend and did meet us onsite when we arrived. It is a 15 minute drive to Kenilworth township for facilities (and donuts). Ensure that you are self contained to stay here.

Host was amazing to rope of an area for our small event for our kids 3rd camping birthday. Fairy lights were put up and fire was set up ready to be used for the day we arrived. Power was available close to where we were but if you needing power and camper further from the power outlet take a long extension lead.

Overall a nice place to stay, had great view and got given plenty of firewood. Just a bit crowded for the area we were in

Stayed for 1 night, was very pleasant with the creek right along the campsite. Host offered firewood and was ver responsive. Would recommend

The area we were supposed to camp was rather soggy due to a bit of recent rain. Michael was easily contactable via phone. We moved to a dryer spot but the power was a bit far away. Michael was great in providing an extension cord and running it over so we were connected and didn't have to run one across the road. There was no water hook-up available but the creek was lovely.

Overall he had a great experience. Unfortunately, the site was closer to a few other camps and didn’t feel as a private as we expected. I reckon that 80 $ per night for a camping like that, without any facilities it’s a shame

Overall the camp site was pretty good. Although for the price of a site with no faculties we did expect a more private area. For the price we didn’t expect others camped right next to us

Michael was super friendly and we had a great time! Beautiful spot with horses roaming around and plenty of space. Will be back!

Really nice place, the host gave us good directions was very nice & left us with plenty of fire wood. The one thing that was very strange was the private party guests of the host which we found to be disrespectful of our privacy as well as firing up a chainsaw in the midfle of the night for good 10-15 minutes…. Much like a scene of a horror movies. Unfortunately would not recommend due to this .

Hidden Valley Retreat
Mike was a fantastic host, very helpful and welcoming and left us alone except when helping or dropping off plenty of firewood for our stay. The Hidden Valley Retreat is just that. A hidden valley where we could retreat. Well kept, beautiful and accessible even to our 40’ 12tonne motor home. We had a very enjoyable stay.
