Great secluded spot perfect for digital detox around a campfire. Ample dry firewood provided, and flushing toilet a bonus comfort.

Quiet spot all to yourself. Peaceful location well setup with a good camp fire pit and bench seating. Great for tents/swags or camping trailer setups. AWD or 4WD best for the last 30 metres climb to the camp spot.

Great campsite, idyllic location. Sheltered by a big cliff on one side and overlooking a horse paddock. Lots of firewood was provided, and there was even a flushable toilet.

Absolutely beautiful stay at the Tanglewood camp ground, the area is secluded and quiet being set up on a hill near the property. Great spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of life, switch off, and enjoy the basics that camping invites. Susan and the family were wonderfully accomodating and provided easy directions to find the place which was greatly appreciated. Would stay again!

The site was beautiful! Easy to access with Susan’s provided directions, and felt lovely and secluded once on site. The provided toilet was a big plus, as well as plenty of firewood and camp setting w/ fire pit. Great fun to watch and hear the wildlife all around the site.

We had a great one night getaway. The flushing toilet was perfect. There was some firewood provided in a small storage shed right next to the fire pit. The area was nice and secluded with a good area of shade from direct sunlight. The who Susan was easy prompt with her replies and helpful.

This was a great spot, set part way up the valley, the site had a decent view and was surrounded by wildlife. (Horses, Cows, Kangaroos, Owls and Wombats to name a few). The owners were super friendly, helpful with directions and quick to respond. The even took the time to come say hi and show us some options for visiting the surrounding national park. As pictured in the add, the fire and bar setup were a nice touch, and the flushing toilet and generous amount of provided fire wood was amazing! The site is easily accessible by AWD/4WD, and we had no issue getting a small 2WD SUV up to the site. (The most challenging part is only the last 150-200m, so you could definitely park and walk up if needed). Highly recommend this spot for those seeking a peaceful nature retreat!

This is a delightful and isolated camp site, made even better by the lack of digital access. We didn’t see much of Susan but she couldn’t have been more helpful and even enquired about our wellbeing after a flash storm.

We highly recommend this hipcamp! It's secluded, well maintained and in a beautiful valley. Just follow the hand drawn map that the owner provides, and you'll make it to this amazing property. It almost feels like a treasure hunt to a magical place. Thank you, Susan!

What a great spot. Beautiful, quiet and very relaxing. We had a good time with our teens and two dogs. The digital detox was just what was needed.

Great place to spend some quiet time. It was very tidy bush site and very peaceful. Bonus visit by some horses who were happily grazing
Good directions on the map provided. Susan had organised for some firewood.

Relatively secluded single camping site with toilet on site. Good supply of wood for fire and a pit toilet on site. Great spot - very quiet and surround by nature boulders, hills and bush. No reception: good for breaking free

Stayed for 2 nights with my mate and 3 of our dogs, I would of stayed longer if I could have, the drive in was actually quite fun and straight forward, at the time of this review the rain had given the dirt roads a bit of a beating, so having a 4x4 definitely made things a bit easier.
No reception for the last 30 minutes, so you have to rely HEAVILY on the hand drawn map that Susan will send you before arrival.
The camp site is nice and secluded, a toilet in immaculate condition sits about 100 metres up from camp site, not too close, not too far.
The host’s house is a good distance up the road so you truly feel like you’re on your own when at camp, the hosts were absolutely brilliant, super friendly and helpful, Glen left loads of fire wood at camp before we got there, and Susan even gave me an onion when I realised I had forgotten to pack my own.
The camp site sits on a mountain side with beautiful views of valleys and cliffs and horses that I ended up feeding some grass to, which was really wholesome for a city slicker like me, plenty of firewood lying around that we were able to cut up with a chainsaw.
All in all. We had an amazing experience here, which I can chalk up to very hospitable hosts and a beautiful, well looked after property.
Thank you Glen and Susan, we will return.
