Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Gorgeous property situated in the valley looking up to Flat Rock mountain escarpment. This is a great place to pull in on your way to Sydney or QLD or to use as a base to explore this beautiful area. Stunning views. Perfect place to relax with a book, draw, bird watch or take photographs. Birds, kangaroos, cows and lizards are abundant here. Fresh water creek is safe for cooking or a quick dip. (Note water isn’t very deep) . Local sights include Taree and Wingham 30min. The villages of Lansdowne, Coopernook, Harrington, Crowdy Head all no more than 30 min drive away. Stay a few days, visit quaint country towns, lookouts, waterfalls, beaches and so much more. This site looks up to amazing escapements views. (Flat rock lookout) There is plenty of room to move around and most sites can accommodate 2 cars. Our Property offers a peaceful, quiet and calm place to relax and unwind. There are fenced in cows on property. Please leave gates how you find them. Some fences are electric. Children are welcome but must be fully supervised at all times. Pets welcome but must be on a lead at all times and to be kept inside at night. (Please pick up after them) We are a super friendly family of 3 with pets of our own. We are also pretty knowledgeable of the areas and can recommend things to do and places to visit. At certain times there will be fruit grown on the property available for purchase. Please note that there are no food/ drink shops close by (30min away) please bring all supplies with you. You must have your own toilet. Property can flood, you will need to move to higher ground on property if flood warnings have been announced. Bush walking allowed upon request. Please note- Koppin Yarratt Road from Comboyne to Upper Lansdowne is CLOSED.

Red Cedar

This site is near an old red cedar tree and has plenty of space for several cars. It is very private and has access to the best water hole on the property. This fresh water hole is perfect for a quick dip, a long relaxing chill or gathering water. It has gorgeous views of the great dividing mountain range. This is the third camp site on the right hand side once through the front gate. It’s very grassy and has high creek banks, care is needed at night, we recommend a torch when night walking. There are no bathroom amenities here, Guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace.

Lizard Bridge is the first site you’ll spot as you enter the main gate, making it an easy and welcoming place to settle in. Named for the resident family of lizards living beneath the bridge, they’re often seen basking nearby. Park on either side of the road—your choice—with beautiful views no matter where you pull up. A relaxed, open site that’s perfect for an easy arrival and a great first impression of the property. The creek is perfect for a dip too.

Lizard bridge
I had the most amazing stay at Koppin Valley Farm. From the moment I arrived, it felt like a proper little escape — peaceful and beautiful. The setting is stunning, sitting by the creek with a beer in hand looking up at the surrounding escarpments each in turn being washed in gold by the setting sun. The host, Danielle, is incredibly welcoming, and she strikes the perfect balance between being friendly and giving you space to truly relax. The farm itself is gorgeous and looks very well cared for — a real credit to Danielle and her family. If you’re after a place to slow down, reconnect with nature and actually unwind, Koppin Valley Farm is something special. I left feeling refreshed and already thinking about when I can come back. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

East to find. Beautiful views and hospitality. We were spoilt. Great weather. A Happy friendly host with great options for camping along the creek. Close enough to drive to Harrington and Crowdy head for wale watching. Awesome mountain vistas.
