We had the most wonderful experience at Corrynth at the Shearing Shed. The most amazing scenery, and Dee and John were welcoming and very friendly hosts. Dee and John went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as peaceful and easy going as possible. The yard was mown and tidy, a stack of firewood ready to go, a scavenger hunt sent up for our kids, farm fresh eggs from their lovely chickens, plenty of opportunities for our kids to feed the pig, horse and to pet the goats, John even got the swing set ready for them to use. The peace and serenity at Corrynth is like nothing else, Kookaburras singing, Rosella's flying around, kangaroos hopping and goats exploring. It was the most relaxing hipcamp! And access to power was a great bonus in the winter.
A short drive out to Jindabyne for a day trip, and we had a couple day trips up to the snow made the trip even more special. We can't wait to come back and enjoy some more time at Corrynth!

Couldn’t have asked for a better camp, the views were sensational, the animals even better and the campsites were unbelievably well kept.
Be sure to stop and talk to John and Dee, it’s clear this place means everything to them and all they want to do is share the magic around. It’s rare to find passion like what they have, so be sure to give them 5-10 minutes and they’ll show you everything.
I CANNOT recommend Corynth enough, it was an Absolute pleasure

Wow, what an amazing place this is! Corrynth has been by far the best campsites that we have visited! From the amazing views of the snow capped fields out at Kosciuszko, to the ever abundant wildlife that are around the area and the open space that provides you with peace and quiet. Only a short drive in to Jindabyne and the snow fields, if you wish to visit. One of the best parts was sitting by the campfire at night and enjoying the view of the stars, truly peaceful.
The hospitality provided by John and Dee, truly is second to none, they greeted us on arrival and kindly escorted us to our sight, and even filled out water tanks up in pitch black, that truly is service! They take great pride in this place and it shows.
This place is something special and we will be returning. Thank you, John and Dee for letting us stay in the beautiful place.

Camping at Corrynth 380 was an amazing experience. Perfect views of the rising & setting sun. The majesty of the Snowy Moutains in the distance & the Victorian High Country. You could just sit for hours coffee in hand, taking it all in. The night time sky with the Milky Way & endless number of stars above.
Lots of good walks to stretch those legs out.
Dee & John were amazing hosts. Even coming up to share a delicious liquer & conversation.
I stayed 4 nights, & still did not fully explore their property. But, was just happy chilling the time away in front of a nice campfire & views. Thankfully, the winds were kind, as you are perched high on a hill you are exposed. But, so worth it. A return trip is warranted.

Ridge Corrynth
We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Corrynth Ridge at Corrynth. From the moment we arrived, John and Dee made us feel incredibly welcome. We got in much later than expected, yet they happily waited up until nearly 10pm to greet us at the front gate, which was greatly appreciated after a long drive.
The campsite was beautifully maintained, with firewood already stocked at our site when we arrived. The views from Corrynth Ridge were stunning, and it was obvious how much pride John and Dee take in their property. We especially loved meeting the goats and seeing the genuine passion they have for the land and the experience they provide for campers.
The location is excellent too—close enough to easily explore Jindabyne and Kosciuszko National Park while still enjoying the peace, privacy and natural beauty of the property.
Corrynth Ridge is suitable for everything from a quiet couples’ getaway to a larger group camping trip. The site is spacious, scenic and exceptionally well maintained. John and Dee’s hospitality was second to none, and we’d happily sit down and share a few drinks with them around the fire next time!
Thanks again for a wonderful stay. We highly recommend Corrynth and will definitely be back. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dee and John’s property is an absolute standout. We originally booked to stay for two nights at the 360 site, perched at the top of a hill. The site offered exceptional 360-degree views that really made the most of the surrounding landscape—especially at sunrise and sunset. It’s incredibly quiet, secluded, and feels very private, making it perfect for switching off and unwinding.
Unfortunately, we brought the gale-force winds with us, and it ended up quite exposed up top during our stay. However, Dee and John were fantastic hosts and kindly allowed us to move to another available site without any hassle. That flexibility made a big difference and really speaks to how accommodating they are.
The alternative spot, Bush Camp, ended up being a massive highlight, with a sheltered setting among the trees. If you’re after a peaceful escape with stunning scenery and genuinely helpful hosts, this place is hard to beat. We’d definitely come back.

Dee and John, you were lovely, and accomodating to us even when we were in a bit of strife and was delayed getting to the site.
They met us out front of their property and gave us a tour, we followed them and showed us the way to the campsite on their massive property.
The campsite (we stayed at Corrynth 360) was completely private, beautiful views in the morning and very peaceful. Firewood provided for the first night, and plenty fallen around the area to pick up and use.

We had AWD with good clearance for access, high clearance 2wd would also make it with careful positioning and going slow. Mostly dirt and some rocky parts, some steepish parts also.
We stayed two nights over Easter weekend 26, and was so very impressed! Very enjoyable and we will definitely be back! Thank you Dee and John!

Beautiful couple in a stunning location, that made our first RV Trip spectacular! We travelled with a four year old and twin toddlers. There was plenty of space to set up volleyball and football.
Dee bought some baby goats up for my kids to bottle feed and showed them her other animals, pig & cute chickens.
We hiked up the Stockton track for beautiful views of the mountains.
We will definitely stay here again and recommend this site for all! ❤️

Bush Camp
We had an incredible 3 night stay at Bush Camp in our big rig (4.5 tonne). The site was very secluded and peaceful with the added bonus of the most awesome campfire setup and hammock! Wood was in abundance and being able to chainsaw our own was all part of the adventure. Dee & John were very generous and delivered extra wood unexpectedly. The loo with a view definitely has a view and is very well done with a space age dry flush toilet. The kids enjoyed holding the chickens, looking for eggs and checking out the pig. We were lucky enough to see an echidna wandering through the campsite one afternoon. Thank you Dee & John for being such generous and kind hosts. We will be back next time we head to the snow. We had the most perfect winter escape.

We loved our stay on this property. Dee and John are genuine friendly and welcoming hosts. From the first greeting we felt instantly comfortable.
I can’t thank them enough for sharing this escape from reality and showing us what they have planed for the future.

Absolutely loved staying at the Shearing Shed. I couldn’t get over the stunning views in every direction. And having power was an added bonus. I felt safe and had the perfect amount of privacy the entire stay. Thank you Dee & John! I’ll be back!

My daughter and I had a wonderful time staying here, while we visited the ski fields. Private, quiet and up high with great views.
It does get cold there, but with plentiful wood nearby we were toasty warm in no time.
There were kangaroos, wombats and goats here as well.
Fantastic spot to enjoy this wonderful part of the country, and we could easily have another tent setup to enjoy with family and friends.

Where do I begin. Dee and John are the best hosts you could ever ask for! Their property that offers so much is such a beautiful place to stay. If you want a farm experience like no other then Corrynth is the place. We were given a caravan spot next to the old sheering shed which had an amazing view of the rolling hills and snowy topped mountains.
Dee and John were so accomodating and helped us with anything we needed.
We were also able to walk and drive around the property gathering fire wood and looking out from the hill top at Corrynth 360 where the view is breathtaking. We watched the Roos jump around the land, hung out with the goats, had our own big campfire every night and it really just felt like home.
You can tell Dee and John put their hearts and souls into making it so special for anyone who is to go and stay. I could go on and on about how amazing it was and it’s nice to have a chat with Dee and John as they have plenty of stories about the property and what they get up to.
Thanks so much again Dee and John hope to see you again soon.
