We had a beautiful stay here, surrounded by lush greenery and stunning views that made it feel so peaceful and relaxing. The undercover area was perfect for escaping the rain, and the large fire pit with free firewood from Cath was such a great touch. There are also some lovely walks around the property which were amazing. Just something to be mindful of, after rain, the leeches are out in full force so come prepared. Overall, a really special spot we’d happily return to.

This was the best campsite ever - cannot recommend enough. Matched and exceeded the listing/reviews. Utterly private, incredibly clean and convenient facilities (dunny, sink, Sundeck, table and chairs, firewood), surrounded by nature, two beautiful walks. Note that while there are some facilities, if you are after phone reception, showers, etc - this isn’t for you! This is perfect for off-grid campers who are seeking time away from the city and a digital detox. Can’t wait to come back again.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was clear that the owners put in a fair amount of effort to make this place the perfect little rainforest hideaway. I loved the signs and the deck space. The toilet was good and nearby. If possible, I’d add hand sanitiser somewhere. We enjoyed the short walk up the hill but didn’t do the other one as the grass was quite high. Would highly recommend this place. We’ll be back someday.

We had an amazing camping stay at this Site. My wife loved it so much, and we’re already planning to come back again.
The place is beautifully secluded, offering excellent privacy and a truly peaceful atmosphere. The facilities were great, the host was very helpful, and the dogs were friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
Overall, this was a fantastic experience and a must-visit for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in nature.

Super lovely spot with really nice facilities. Great spot for a campfire, really generous with free firewood. Really friendly and well socialised dogs, which was great considering our own dog can be a bit nervous. Definitely recommend.

My husband, son and I loved our weekend! The rainforest hikes were one of our favourite parts. It was a really rainy weekend and the undercover area was so convenient, we put our tent up there and prepared our food there too; still just as enjoyable with the wet weather.
The rain bought along so many leeches which were tricky to manage.
The dogs at the main house are very friendly however, do jump on the car as you arrive and quite unpleasant if you aren't used to dogs or have little ones with you.

Cath was welcoming and the property was great. I felt very tucked away on the site and was really comfortable sitting on the deck and by the fire. It was a nice drive out and the property was well signposted. It's a new favourite that I would definitely go back to.

Me and a friend did 2 nights here and loved it. Easy to get to and easy check in. Cath (and the dogs) met us on arrival. The dogs do greet you “enthusiastically” and jumped on the car which wasn’t great but they are sweet. The white dogs are guards dogs (let out at night) and take their role seriously on the farm so should not be approached. This is standard with all guard dogs and you shouldn’t let it put you off. Cath will explain when you arrive also.
We loved the big open space and variety of setups that the camp site brings. The open cabin is fantastic and provided much needed shelter from the storm! It got a bit hairy at points so glad we had that. It’s nice bring raised up looking across the camp.
The big fire pit was great with the grill in the corner so you can cook over coals and still have your main fire next to it. Huge water tank with washing up area and tap was also a great addition.
As per another comment, there are leeches but again, just make sure to wear long trousers tucked in and check yourself when you’re walking around camp or on the trails. Same for all forest camping. We didn’t feel like it was too much of an issue. You also have the deck to keep up off the ground if you want to.
The site is plenty big for a ground of people with options to pitch tents on grass, mud, sand, the deck or in the cabin itself which we did. There’s also a couple of flat spots for parking for rooftop tents.

This is our second time staying here in summer and it is just the most perfect campsite. It has it all - privacy, a beautiful healthy dam to swim in, plenty of shade from trees and the handy leanto for wet weather. There is tank water, tables and chair, a massive fire pit and plenty of fire wood.
We can’t fault Caths place!

We were greeted welcomingly by the host, Cath, and her friendly dogs. We were then shown to the camp site- it was quite private and very much in nature. It was quite warm the days we were there for, so we were glad the camp site was set in a shaded area to keep us cool. The sounds of birds and other wildlife were lovely to hear, especially at night with the frogs and insects. Our dog had a blast walking the trails nearby as well as swimming in the dam. Highly recommend. Just make sure to bring your insect repellent and you’re all set!

I solo camped here with my dog and we had the most perfect time. We played in the dam, followed the walking trails into the state forest from the camp site, sat around the fire, and watched and listened to the wildlife within the area.
This site is very well equip with tank water and tap set up, clean and new drop toilet, large sheltered area, established fire pit with cook top, wooden platform with tent anchors as well as a grassy patch to pitch a tent, and great little dam to swim and play in.
The hosts were great, their dogs are great as well, the ridgebacks were really friendly to my kelpie cross, which he was happy with.
Another plus is this is tucked away from the main house, and there are no other camping sites, so its really private and quiet.
Highly recommend this site, I'm sure I'll be back!

Fantastic spot with plenty of privacy and time to enjoy nature. We had a cattle dog who's is reactive and were able to let him off leash during the day, he was tied up at night and left alone by Cath's dogs. Would recommend for anyone wanting to get away and spend some peaceful time in nature.

The experience was perfect. The campsite is close to a stream and a pond, with a great fire pit and tap water , a large shed to enjoy leisure time, and a convenient toilet. There are also several excellent hiking trails nearby, where you can enjoy the natural beauty when the weather is nice. It's easy to get in and out, and you don't need a 4x4 to get there(i drive a suv). All in all, it was an unforgettable experience. Five stars recommended!

The perfect getaway! Me and my boys (age 6 and 8) had an amazing camp. Boys loved exploring the creek, swimming in the dam, fire at night, the rainforest walk, saying hi to the sheep and sleeping to the melody of the frogs. So great to just turn up with a tent + food and have everything else there for you. It was perfect. Thanks Cath!

It was absolutely beautiful and peacefull. Cath was lovely and her property is absolutely beautiful. She showed us to our camp sites and left us to it. We didnt see ot hear her for the rest of our stay. The walking trails are quite beautiful. The kids really enjoyed the freedom or running around. We were also able to get our commodore in no issue but is a dirt bumpy road.

We loved our time at Cath’s camping spot. The campsite is equipped with a campfire with grill for cooking and ample firewood, big undercover area, clean drop toilet, lovely deck with picnic table and chairs, and clean running water, sink and bench top for cleaning. Our dogs had a great time and met one of the gorgeous ridgebacks who hung out with us for a while. It was very quiet and private on site.
Things to note: we did have a few ticks that were around and on the dogs and tents. There was no phone reception.
We’d love to come back!

Beautiful slice of secluded bush paradise. A few nice walks with local streams and dams. Needed a place great for small kids and our very large dog. Kept her on the long leash just because we didn’t want her to hassle the farms guardian dogs. There were a couple of paddocks where she could go off leash for a trot and to chase a frisbee though. Cath was a friendly and accommodating host. Would love to come again.
