Brightwater sits beside Olney State Forest and Kuluwan Flora Reserve. It is a 50-acre farm with a lovely spring-fed dam, with our nearby campsite. The site contains van parking, an open pavilion, an open deck by the stream, a fire pit, and a dunny. It is private and secluded, and with just one group staying at a time, you are guaranteed the space to yourselves. There are many beautiful walking and bike trails in the area. Lots of wildlife to meet, including water dragons, wild ducks, and pythons, to name a few. There is also nearby evidence of the original occupants, the Darkinjung people. You are also welcome to bring a couple of horses! There's a safe paddock with a trough and nice trails in the area to explore. The Kulnura General Store and bottleshop is just 9km down the road for basic supplies. This site is by a lovely spring-fed dam and surrounded by bushland. It's around .5k from the main house and is completely private. You can swim in the dam, lie on the deck, scramble along the creek or walk/bike on the many trails in the area. Lots to explore! Pets are welcome. If you wish you could also bring a couple of horses. There's a paddock with a trough and nice riding in the area. Cath also has free range chooks and a garden so there are seasonal veggies and eggs if you want them.

Spring Dam
Private and well maintained
We loved camping here. It was our first trip with a dog and he was in puppy heaven here. Also great as we could pack a little lighter than usual with water, firewood, chairs, tables and a shelter for the rain provided. Perfect for a couple or small family and completely private at the back of the property overlooking a dam, with frogs croaking away - and lots of vegetation, a couple of walks into the bush surrounding. Nice flat well maintained grassy area for the tent. Cath does have a few large dogs - they are boisterous and jumped up at the car when we arrived. One of the dogs became very friendly with our puppy and they played together one afternoon right into the evening. We will be back

Spring Dam
Great facilities, very relaxed with undercover areas, plenty of tables and chairs. There are a few mozzies and flys with the still water but a very comfortable place to camp. The dogs are big, jumped on and in our car and made their way into our camp early morning, relatively harmless but a little confronting. Plenty of firewood provided and a great stay all round. Limited reception and a busy coffee shop a short drive away.

Spring Dam
Was wonderful , very quiet and peaceful and was set up for camping with the under cover especially with the rain , didn't need to stay in the camper, the fire was great will be back again, word of advice pair long pants and tuck them in and spray mossie spray around your legs especially walking in the rain forest, we were attacked by leeches but thats part of the bush wonderful experience

Spring Dam
Greta little secluded getaway. We enjoyed swimming in the dam, the rainforest walk and relaxing on the deck

Spring Dam
Beautiful spot! Would highly recommend. It feels very private and the little extra touches such as tables & the fire pit made for a very enjoyable experience. Road in is quite rough so not for small cars!
