200 acres of scenic farm paddocks with seasonal creek, and forested hills adjoining the Bournda National Park. See kangaroos, wallabies and wombats and if you are lucky an echidna or deer! Horses also live here and are separate from the camping area. We accept only a small number of campers to ensure everyone has a few acres each and peace and quiet to enjoy the natural surroundings. Sites are generally more secluded as go from 1 to 10. All sites are walking distance to a composting toilet. Showers are near the entry to the camping areas of the farm, behind the green water tank. Good phone reception everywhere. Dogs welcome. They can go off leash if supervised during the day. No loud music. No loud parties. No motorbikes. No generators. Please keep noise to a minimum. 5 mins drive to Bournda NP and Lagoon/Island/Beach, more beaches, Tura Beach Woolworths, petrol station. 10 mins drive to Merimbula, Magic Mountain and Tathra. Firepits provided. Firewood; We can bring you a pile of firewood once you are set-up, $30. Or if you BYO chainsaw we can let you know where to cut wood.

Pretty, flat paddock of a few acres surrounded by bush and just above the creek. The creek here is narrow and shady, with large rocks and usually waterholes.  Wombats live in this paddock! 2WD access. Composting Toilet is a short walk. At the far end of the farm, bordered by bush and the Bournda N.P. on three sides, the creek skirts below a cliff in a secluded corner. Usually some shallow water in the creek here all year round. Ideal for any size from a couple to a large group. You have several acres to yourself! 2WD access, but not suited to low clearance cars or front wheel drive vans in the wet. I absolutley fell in love with this property ! I drove in set up and had the most relaxing time walking , eating, making fires . The best view ever from composting toilet i was on site 2 . I didnt leave untill it was time to come home today . Got to see two kangaroos have a boxing match this morning . Just a beautiful place to meditate with the birds , frogs and kangaroos.

One of my favourite campsites to date! Amazing signage and facilities. The view was just incredible and Meredith was so welcoming and kind. A very short distance from beaches and town centre. Wish we stayed longer it was a great experience

Really lovely cap grounds. Lots of space and plenty of fire pits. Nice and clean compost toilet. The owner came by the next morning for a chat which was sweet. Highly recommend. Could have happily spent multiple days there.

Enjoyed my caravan stay at Merimbula Camping 2. Value for money compared to most Hipcamps. Beautiful countryside, sites spread out, fire pits, wood delivery, small creek, composting toilet (that didn’t smell)

I’m so pleased to have discovered this fabulous camping spot. I was at Wombat Way and the Wombats were plentiful and very active at dusk. I had a huge space to myself beside the creek and Meredith delivered a lovely load of firewood to keep me warm. I’m a local, looking for a little peace and quiet and Merimbula Camping did the trick and more. I’ll be back. Just lovely!

We had four wonderful days in peace and quiet. Beautiful bush setting with lots of wildlife. Plenty of room to spread out. Cozy nights by the fire with starry skies. Meredith was very friendly and hospitable. Our doggies enjoyed the freedom to roam around on our morning walks. Nice hot showers and clean loo with a view. We’ll definitely be back again soon.

5 stars without hesitation. Meredith is a fantastic host and the property is truly stunning. It offers the perfect balance of feeling private and relaxing while still having quick and easy access to beaches, shops, cafes and plenty of nearby activities. This is the best Hipcamp I’ve ever stayed at, and I’ve returned several times because it’s just that good.

We had such an incredible stay at this campsite and honestly didn’t want to leave. The space itself is beautiful - peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, giving you that perfect sense of seclusion and privacy. It felt like our own little escape, far away from everything, yet still so conveniently located. What we loved most was how private it felt without being isolated. You’re only about 10 minutes from Merimbula and some of the most stunning beaches. It’s also an absolute dream for dogs. There’s so much open space for them to explore and enjoy safely, which made the whole experience even better for us. The site also had fantastic amenities including hot showers, maintained composting toilets and a charge point for batteries. We look forward to coming back again and highly recommend!

Merediths property is so dreamy and was exactly the place we needed for a Easter getaway 🙌😊🐣 not too busy and so much land everyone has their own section. Compared to the caravan parks which were full id definitely recommend looking at booking here.

I could not recommend a weekend away here more. Amenities were fantastic, directions were clear. The views were amazing and the firewood was well worth the price. I will definitely be booking again.
