We had a really lovely and peaceful time camping on Wayne's property. He is strict but fair, really friendly and easy to communicate with. We loved the tour around the farm that he took us on and we admire what he is trying to achieve conservation wise. Having the Kalgan river less than a 10 min walk down the drive way is an extra bonus. Bird varieties galore. Highly recommended for a nature connection, camping location and experience. Thank you Wayne, we'll be back.

Weekend Trip to Home and Hound Kendenup
Bluff Knoll house far exceeded our expectations. It is a beautiful house with Two bedrooms, a family room with an large sized smart tv, reverse cycle air conditioned. Kept the accomodation nice and snug and warm as it was a bit cold when we visited. Well equipped kitchen with tea, coffee sugar and Milo provided. There is a Phillips coffee pod machine with pods provided. Fridge had freshly laid eggs which tasted wonderful. Washing machine in the laundry, BBQ outside in the patio. Fully fenced so our Daschi could roam free. The goats were extremely friendly and looked forward to being fed. Truly a home away from home. You can spend days there without carrying anything but food supplies. Thank you Kylee and Kieran (not sure if I have your name right)

Wayne was a wonderful host - sharing local tips and recommendations, sharing his gardens produce and providing tours to learn about his property and commitment to creating ecosystems. Lovely protected camping space on grassed area, falling asleep to the sounds of frogs and waking to birds. Travelling in peak season, this was a great location for quiet and relaxation - 20 minutes out of Albany. We used Wayne's location as a base to explore Denmark, Albany and surrounding national parks. We walked into our country chalet and immediately felt relaxed. The host has done an excellent job of decorating the chalet, paying attention to detail. The main bed was very comfy and extra pillows, blankets and throw rugs available for extra warmth. Bed comes with electric blanket but not needed this time of year. Would be a lovely winters stay with the indoor fireplace. The farm animals were very friendly and eager to meet guests. Host provided food to feed the farm animals. Host is always around working the farm so available to guests if they need anything. Stirling house had fully enclosed fence that even our little Lahsa Apso dog couldn’t escape. Dog bowls, beds and toys provided. Would definitely stay again. Thank you for having us

Our Land is 70 acres of mostly native bush with large Karri trees surrounding the beautiful views of the Irwin Inlet. The area cleared is where the original Benson Family lived. The house was burnt down and they then left. We moved up here 40 plus years ago and have slowly cleared the area. We are only 7 kms to the wonderful Peaceful Bay where all amount of activities can be taken. Safe swimming, fishing, surfing and boating. The famous Tree Top Walk is approximately 20 kms away, with the local Bow Bridge Roadhouse 5 mins away.Also located at Peaceful Bay are the famous local fresh fish and chips. We are situated approximately half way between Walpole and Denmark. All of our sites have views of the Irwin Inlet. As we use dam water for watering our garden we do have open dams near by. Just wanted all guests to be aware of this. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Pets are allowed on leash. Campfires are allowed as long as they are in a contained drum unless there is a total fire ban. We would let you know if this was the case. We have fire pits to hire for $15

We are about an hour drive north of Albany and 300 kilometres south of Perth. The property is pretty close to the Stirling Range National Park, Porongurup National park, Frankland wine district and lake Poorrarecup. Wongin Mia makes an excellent base for exploring this picturesque area. Birdlife is plentiful including parrots, wedge tail eagles, red breasted wrens, Carnaby's and Boudin's, Night jars, Willy wagtails, Barking owls and Welcome swallows. The Rockcliffe vineyard was originally an apple orchard. In 1990, the first vines were planted, and in 2007 we built a "State of the Art winery", which is located on the property. Rockcliffe is now the biggest winery in the region. We sell wines all over the world and in Australia. We focus on producing small batches of high-quality wines, all of which can be tasted at the Rockcliffe Cellar Door. We welcome self-contained travelers to come and stay for 1, 2 or 3 nights maximum. On booking your site, you will either be amongst the vines on one of our levelled bays which are allocated on a first come basis. If all are full you can park your van either on the paddock across the road or at the rear of the carpark (below the gravelled bays). It is important you have your own toilet, as we do not offer facilities here. The place is very quiet, being in a rural setting, but only 4km from Denmark town. If you are a cyclist this is an ideal place to stay. We have a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, and through the forests, all of which are part of the beautiful Rockcliffe property. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat your children to Gelato and Fudge. We offer Cheese & Meat Platters, Pizza's and Fries. The kitchen is open from 12-4pm for lunch Sunday through till Thursday and from 1-7pm for lunch and dinner Friday and Saturdays.

This beautiful property is a 75-acre farm and vineyard, overlooking the Stirling Ranges, with a tree-lined stream separating the property into two halves. It is a stone's throw from the neighbouring cellar door, and visitors are encouraged to participate in seasonal activities, and sample and enjoy the local produce. It is near Stirling Range National Park and Porongurup National Park and Skywalk, with unique flora and fauna, mountain climbing, and walking experiences. Plus just as close to the coast, but far from the crowds. Choose relaxation or adventure. There are several sites to choose from, some with access to the toilet facilities and others where you will need to be completely self-contained. Please refer to the site descriptions for more details. We can welcome a small/medium breed dog per booking, however, they must never be left unattended and we ask that you please be responsible for picking up dog waste. Campfires are permitted during the months of May- September subject to conditions/local fire restrictions. PLEASE DONT bring firewood onto the property. Help prevent the ongoing threat of Phytophthora dieback in WA. Firewood is available to purchase.
