The Rockcliffe vineyard was originally an apple orchard. In 1990, the first vines were planted, and in 2007 we built a "State of the Art winery", which is located on the property. Rockcliffe is now the biggest winery in the region. We sell wines all over the world and in Australia. We focus on producing small batches of high-quality wines, all of which can be tasted at the Rockcliffe Cellar Door.
We welcome self-contained travelers to come and stay for 1, 2 or 3 nights maximum. On booking your site, you will be amongst the vines on one of our levelled bays which are allocated on a first come basis. It is important you have your own toilet, as we do not offer facilities here outside of our cellar door hours.
Overflow camping is also available in the paddock across from the winery, suitable over summer when it is dry and we are running our summer music events over the weekend. Please get in touch to enquire about this.
The place is very quiet, being in a rural setting, but only 4km from Denmark town. If you are a cyclist, this is an ideal place to stay. We have a mountain biking track that goes around the vines, paddocks, and through the forests, all of which are part of the beautiful Rockcliffe property. The camping areas are a very short walk to the cellar door where you can taste all of our delicious wines or treat your children to Gelato and Fudge. We also offer Cheese Platters, Pizza's and Fries.
The kitchen is open from 12-4pm for lunch Sunday through till Thursday and from 1-7pm for lunch and dinner Friday and Saturdays.

*This property has 70 acres of lush Karri forest with the original old logging trails from approximately 100 years ago, which make for beautiful nature walks.
The track through the forest to the main campsite is about 3.5m wide, it can get a little slippery so caution is needed, a 4WD is recommended if towing a camper or caravan during the winter months. 2WD is ok in summer months.
There is one transportable long drop toilet near site 1.
There is a fire pit for cooking but other from that you have to be self sufficient.
There is access to drinking water up at the house.
If the campsite is unavailable or you don't won't to drive through the forest, you are welcome to set up camp on the green pastures with great views but there are NO amenities there and you would have to be completely self-contained.

You will be positioned overlooking our beautiful dam/lake from there is our gorgeous paddocks with cows, horses, and sheep. Your view extends to our beautiful Jarrah Forrest.
You could fill your day with activities such as fishing for fresh marron or perhaps paddle on the lake in our paddle boat or kayaks. You could also go for walks around the property. It is also a lovely spot to just relax and enjoy the beautiful view.

Our Land is 70 acres of mostly native bush with large Karri trees surrounding the beautiful views of the Irwin Inlet. The area cleared is where the original Benson Family lived. The house was burnt down and they then left.
We moved up here 40 plus years ago and have slowly cleared the area. We are only 7 kms to the wonderful Peaceful Bay where all amount of activities can be taken. Safe swimming, fishing, surfing and boating.
The famous Tree Top Walk is approximately 20 kms away, with the local Bow Bridge Roadhouse 5 mins away.Also located at Peaceful Bay are the famous local fresh fish and chips.
We are situated approximately half way between Walpole and Denmark.
All of our sites have views of the Irwin Inlet.
As we use dam water for watering our garden we do have open dams near by. Just wanted all guests to be aware of this.
Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure.
Pets are allowed on leash.

We only accept one booking at a time, so you're guaranteed privacy and plenty of space, as you have the entire property to yourselves. 20% discount for weeknights, that is Sunday night through to Thursday night. Come alone or bring your group to camp on our 95 acres of peace and quiet, on our off-grid property in Forest Hill.
Note: There is no actual beach at Eddies Beach.

Groups of up to 6 families (people who know each other) can be accommodated at any one time. As you are the only ones camping, you're welcome to make a bit of noise (music, generators etc). The rate is $38 for up to two adults, per night, $19 per extra adult per night, and any accompanying children (under 18) are free. Note: Please still add children to the booking, you will not be charged, but it's important we know numbers. Whilst the Hipcamp website considers children as anyone under 13 years of age, we consider them as anyone under 18, and are happy for you to create the booking accordingly.
Campfires are permitted in the designated area only, provided conditions are suitable and there are no local fire bans (can change daily). We will advise campers on arrival and any changes throughout your stay. Firewood can be provided.
Whilst any time is good for camping, we recommend trying to time your trip with the New Moon and Full Moon - the skies here are brilliant at night! Marvel at the Milky Way from your hammock, or see the countryside lit up at night by the full moon.
Well-behaved, trained, socialised and fully vaccinated pets are welcome too.
Telstra and Optus work in most areas. We have free WIFI at the designated campsite area.
We are located 19km from Mt Barker, surrounded by local wineries, including West Cape Howe, Poachers Ridge, Arcadia and Gilberts. The property makes a great base camp for day trips to Denmark, Albany, Mt Barker, Stirling Ranges and the Porongurup Ranges.
IMPORTANT: NO FIREARMS. NO SWIMMING IN DAMS. Be mindful, this is a working property. No entry to sheds without prior approval from management. The dams and streams are unfenced, care should be exercised around these areas especially with small children.
For those campers who need extra sleeping arrangements for friends or family who wish to join your camp and don't have the ability to camp, we may be able to offer a solution. Speak to us directly when making the booking.

We have two (2) pet enclosures that measure approx. 1.8 x 4 mt, half enclosed with video surveillance so you can keep an eye on your pet from your phone while you enjoy the wineries, mountain climbing, national parks or just a day out by yourselves. You can have a camp fire in winter although you will need to bring some firewood, there's plenty of kindling, or you can purchase a bundle from us if you wish.
The campsites are level and grassy and suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply.
We are about an hour drive north of Albany and 300 kilometres south of Perth. The property is pretty close to the Stirling Range National Park, Porongurup National park, Frankland wine district and lake Poorrarecup. Wongin Mia makes an excellent base for exploring this picturesque area.
Birdlife is plentiful including parrots, wedge tail eagles, red breasted wrens, Carnaby's and Boudin's, Night jars, Willy wagtails, Barking owls and Welcome swallows. And of course there's plenty of kangaroos and wallabies.

Please note - we have recently undertaken significant native revegetation around the camp site, planting approx. 6,000 native seedlings for native flora and fauna habitat. Therefore, the site looks different to some of the previous photos showing open paddocks. Please refer to the photo in our listing taken in Summer that shows the native revegatation with tree guards around each seedling.
Campers must be self-contained, with their own in-built camp toilet, and leave no trace. Dump points are available in Mt Barker and Albany. Telstra works in most areas. We don't take bookings for tents/swags by themselves at this stage.

Once you arrive, drive down the short driveway under the trees, bear right on the gravel driveway, and follow it past the shed structure until you see the paddocks in the back and find a spot.

If the campsite is unavailable or you don't won't to drive through the forest, you are welcome to set up camp on the green pastures with great views but there are NO amenities there and you would have to be completely self-contained.
We are approximately a 10 minute drive from the beautiful Greens pool and Elephant Rocks beach, and about 15 minutes' drive to the town of
Denmark, WA.
Pets on leashes are welcome.

You will be positioned overlooking our beautiful dam/lake from there is our gorgeous paddocks with cows, horses, and sheep. Your view extends to our beautiful Jarrah Forrest.
You could fill your day with activities such as fishing for fresh marron or perhaps paddle on the lake in our paddle boat or kayaks. You could also go for walks around the property. It is also a lovely spot to just relax and enjoy the beautiful view.
Leave no trace - there is no facilities here, guests will need to be self sufficient and bring their own camping toilet. There is no water or power provided.

Our Land is 70 acres of mostly native bush with large Karri trees surrounding the beautiful views of the Irwin Inlet. The area cleared is where the original Benson Family lived. The house was burnt down and they then left.
We moved up here 40 plus years ago and have slowly cleared the area. We are only 7 kms to the wonderful Peaceful Bay where all amount of activities can be taken. Safe swimming, fishing, surfing and boating.
The famous Tree Top Walk is approximately 20 kms away, with the local Bow Bridge Roadhouse 5 mins away.Also located at Peaceful Bay are the famous local fresh fish and chips.
We are situated approximately half way between Walpole and Denmark.
All of our sites have views of the Irwin Inlet.
As we use dam water for watering our garden we do have open dams near by. Just wanted all guests to be aware of this.
Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure.
Pets are allowed on leash.
Campfires are allowed as long as they are in a contained drum unless there is a total fire ban. We would let you know if this was the case. We have fire pits to hire for $15

Campers must be self-contained, with their own toilet.
We only accept one booking at a time, so you're guaranteed privacy and plenty of space, as you have the entire property to yourselves. 20% discount for weeknights, that is Sunday night through to Thursday night. Come alone or bring your group to camp on our 95 acres of peace and quiet, on our off-grid property in Forest Hill.
Note: There is no actual beach at Eddies Beach.
Campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet, and leave no trace.
Groups of up to 6 families (people who know each other) can be accommodated at any one time. As you are the only ones camping, you're welcome to make a bit of noise (music, generators etc). The rate is $38 for up to two adults, per night, $19 per extra adult per night, and any accompanying children (under 18) are free. Note: Please still add children to the booking, you will not be charged, but it's important we know numbers. Whilst the Hipcamp website considers children as anyone under 13 years of age, we consider them as anyone under 18, and are happy for you to create the booking accordingly.
Campfires are permitted in the designated area only, provided conditions are suitable and there are no local fire bans (can change daily). We will advise campers on arrival and any changes throughout your stay. Firewood can be provided.
Whilst any time is good for camping, we recommend trying to time your trip with the New Moon and Full Moon - the skies here are brilliant at night! Marvel at the Milky Way from your hammock, or see the countryside lit up at night by the full moon.
Well-behaved, trained, socialised and fully vaccinated pets are welcome too.
Telstra and Optus work in most areas. We have free WIFI at the designated campsite area.
We are located 19km from Mt Barker, surrounded by local wineries, including West Cape Howe, Poachers Ridge, Arcadia and Gilberts. The property makes a great base camp for day trips to Denmark, Albany, Mt Barker, Stirling Ranges and the Porongurup Ranges.
IMPORTANT: NO FIREARMS. NO SWIMMING IN DAMS. Be mindful, this is a working property. No entry to sheds without prior approval from management. The dams and streams are unfenced, care should be exercised around these areas especially with small children.
For those campers who need extra sleeping arrangements for friends or family who wish to join your camp and don't have the ability to camp, we may be able to offer a solution. Speak to us directly when making the booking.

We have two (2) pet enclosures that measure approx. 1.8 x 4 mt, half enclosed with video surveillance so you can keep an eye on your pet from your phone while you enjoy the wineries, mountain climbing, national parks or just a day out by yourselves. The campsites are level and grassy and suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply.
We are about an hour drive north of Albany and 300 kilometres south of Perth. The property is pretty close to the Stirling Range National Park, Porongurup National park, Frankland wine district and lake Poorrarecup. Wongin Mia makes an excellent base for exploring this picturesque area.
Birdlife is plentiful including parrots, wedge tail eagles, red breasted wrens, Carnaby's and Boudin's, Night jars, Willy wagtails, Barking owls and Welcome swallows. And of course there's plenty of kangaroos and wallabies.

Please note - we have recently undertaken significant native revegetation around the camp site, planting approx. 6,000 native seedlings for native flora and fauna habitat. Therefore, the site looks different to some of the previous photos showing open paddocks. Please refer to the photo in our listing taken in Summer that shows the native revegatation with tree guards around each seedling.
Campers must be self-contained, with their own in-built camp toilet, and leave no trace. Dump points are available in Mt Barker and Albany. Telstra works in most areas. We don't take bookings for tents/swags by themselves at this stage.

Moorcraft House, situated on 10 acres, has a secluded & peaceful 2-acre green paddock ready for you to camp in. We often have visiting kangaroos, lots of birds chirping & if we are fortunate, a peacock even roams through. It’s an 8-minute drive to the center of town & public facilities, but it’s very private & secure when you’re here.
Once you arrive, drive down the short driveway under the trees, bear right on the gravel driveway, and follow it past the shed structure until you see the paddocks in the back and find a spot.
Please note: there is only space for self-contained campers as there are no toilets on-site. There may be some thistles in the paddock, so please wear footwear at all times. We also have young children on the property—please keep dogs tied up.

We are frequent visitors to Denmark and have stayed at many hipcamps around WA, but this one has to be one of our favourite. The space available was very generous with a dam to swim and play in that has a kayak, pedal boat and life jackets that can be used for the kids. The views were amazing, setting camp on the green grass and enjoying 'sunset on the hill'. We were surrounded by many animals and bushland which was makes it that much better. Would recommend this to anyone and definitely will be back.

We were 3 families camping at the Grange on Kalgan, and we loved it. Wayne made sure that we were well settled, gave us some firewood, and explained to us what he's doing to make this place environmentally friendly, and an oasis for birds. The Kalgan River is within walking distance and gives access to nice, long hikes along the wild banks or a tranquil cruise on kayaks or SUP.
Just for information, not a criticism: although the property is 12.5 acres, the five campsites are set within a shared lawn area of about 40 by 40 metres, quite close to the house. Worth knowing if you’re after isolation. That said, it wasn't a problem for us and we had a great time.

Loved, loved, loved our stay at Stargazer’s Pad. Loads of space with hundreds of meters between the very few sites, peace and quiet and beautiful outlooks. Kangas come by every night and the property offers many cool walks. You can even use the Kajaks if you like or have a picnic in the gazebo by the big dam. Dog friendly too but please be kind to the wildlife and keep them on a leash. Backs right onto Mount Lindsay NP if you want to do the climb.
All that less than 20min from Denmark and with a super lovely host.
Missing it already. We will be back!

Its a beautiful site at Sunset on the hill. We stayed there for 4 nights and would recommend it to anyone! There's heaps of space that makes you feel like you've got your own campsite and the animals there are precious. It's not too far from Denmark and there are plenty of things to do near the site. Would definitely stay there again!!
