Great little spot, exactly what you’d want in a log cabin

Tony was very helpful, had a miscommunication but he was very understandable. His land kept everyone busy, we would play tennis and set up a volleyball net for us to play volleyball in during the day. A lot of space for just us. Made use of his gas BBQ! our dogs loved exploring the land off leash also!

We had a fantastic stay - the cabin is very well maintained, the scenery is beautiful and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We will certainly go back!

Great location literally just out side of town, a lovely paddock with plenty of flat spots and space, there were 4 set ups over Easter and you didn’t know the others were there. One note and said jokingly but someone needs to shoot the neighbours rooster, it clearly hasn’t heard of daylight saving.

Absolutely loved the place ❤️ A lot to explore and a lot to play around for our family with 2 little kids under 4 and 2 dogs. a little dam with a little bridge to explore the middle island ( eventually you can use the boat to paddle around), the dogs loved to roll in the mud,a tennis court to play, ride a scooter and ride on car, large grass area to play with ball, run around and Tony the host dropped off a climbing dome for extra fun. A beautiful river and a clean bush to walk around, fishing and explore. To complete the experience cows, sheeps, goat and ducks roaming around, and we been able to feed them. Don't miss out the pool 😎 and the camp fire at night. Tony and his amazing dog have been such great hosts, super friendly, very accommodating.

Weekend Trip to Little Olive Cabin

Had the best night’s sleep at the Little Olive Cabin, it so peaceful and cosy. The welcome hamper was beyond generous, and we loved sitting out on the porch in the morning sunshine with breakfast and taking slow walks around the estate. Meeting the lovely owner Steve (who gave us chestnuts to roast in the fire!) made it feel even more special. Just such a wholesome, gorgeous experience all around.

5 nights at Blackwood Cabin

Ann & Geoff were the most lovely hosts, very friendly and accommodating. The cabin was great, little outdoor show & toilet, nice firepit and hammock. Visited the hedge maze 5 mins up the road & the kids loved it, good coffee too. Thanks Ann & Geoff, we’ll be back.

Delightful stay for our family at Blackwood Cabin. The creek was a big hit with the kids, the cabin was comfortable and we loved having our meals outside in the beautiful garden. Was the perfect escape from the rat race that we needed.

Weekend Trip to Valley View Caravan Park

We loved our stay, the place was just super convenient and clean! We arrived after 5pm and hosts left us all the instructions in the envelope, super helpful!! Seeing lots of cows in the morning was truly something great!!

2 nights at River Gum Paddock

Nat was lovely and helpful. The location is close to the main street and caravan parks and a Shell/Coles servo close by as well. The caravan park was about the same cost but without the charm of a paddock, horses at the fence plus there are no caravan park 'roamers' 🙂 Grass was high and Nat is still making caravan friendly so vans over 25ft 'may' need to check with Nat before booking.

2 nights at Blackwood Cabin

It’s in a beautiful spot with plenty of bird life, a small stream only 200 meters away and a well presented log cabin with an open fire pit out the front. Minimal phone coverage but that suited us getting away for some chill time.

3 nights in Geoff and Ann's cabin was a fantastic time away with our two children. We loved it and we are already contemplating a return visit. Very rustic, private and comfortable. Thanks Geoff and Ann.

Riverside King Valley is set on a 25 acres on the banks of the King river featuring 10 spacious campsite spread along the property. Just a half an hour drive from Wangaratta, 45 minutes from Benalla and an hour from Mansfield. Each site offers something a little different whether it is a spacious site for a large group or party or a smaller site for a family weekend away. Our site is accessible for all vehicle types and is dog-friendly as long as pets are well-controlled. Campfires are allowed when restrictions aren’t in place, and firewood and kindling is available for purchase (see Extras). We endeavour to provide a peaceful environment, and this is generally a lovely quiet location which more than fulfils our own personal requirements for an undisturbed lifestyle, and will no doubt do so for the vast majority of campers. But we can’t guarantee it will always be completely silent during the day or at night- especially if the lambs or calves or foals are being weaned from their mothers! Ear plugs are available for light sleepers if required. And if you are an extremely noise sensitive person or someone who wants a private camping experience with no noise or neighbouring houses visible, this may not be the right spot for you (if this is you, we would recommend looking for a more remote stay on a large acreage which will provide you with a more private experience) * And while on the topic- if partying late into the night with loud music, a thumping base on your sound system and extremely raucous singing and laughter is your thing, then this is not the right camping spot for you. While we are all for socialising and having fun, if you want to party loudly into the wee hours we would suggest finding a camping spot far away from neighbouring properties where the sound doesn’t carry for miles across the land. Please be mindful of us, our neighbours and others nearby who may be trying to relax or sleep, and keep noise to a respectful level after the sun has set.
