Hilltop Hideaway is situated 210kms from Melbourne in Seaton - Gippsland, Victoria. Just 10 minutes drive to the township of Heyfield and Lake Glenmaggie. This unique property is located on 150 acres of rolling hills bordering the State Forest. It has amazing views of the Great Dividing Range, as well as local towns, farmlands and Lake Glenmaggie. Our 10 square metre, 1 bedroom cabin sleeps up to 4 with 1 queen bed and 1 double futon in living area (bedding included). It has a fully equipped kitchen, open lounge dining area, bathroom, wood fire and is solar powered. We can accommodate up to an additional 16 people ($20 pp/pn) camping beside the cabin, with there own tent, caravan, swag, cutley etc. The property has an abundance of wildlife including Sambar deer, Kangaroos, Wallabies and Birds, which can all be seen by walking/hiking the property. Relax and unwind taking in the breathtaking views while sitting around the open campfire. You also have phone reception. We cater for tents and kombi-vans but not Winnebagos or large caravans.Sorry, dogs are not permitted. 3 nights at Hazelnut Valley Farm Stay

We had a relaxing 5 nights camping at Coopers Corner (fruit trees). This was our second trip here and will be coming back again. It’s quiet and peaceful here, loved the sound of the river and the birdsongs. All the camping sites are well kept with fire pits and most of them have river access. There are also hiking trials in the hill opposite the farm which was handy.

Beautiful clean park. Facilities are clean, laundry,toilets and showers. Can camp close to the river. Gets busy and unpowered sites are self allocated. We were fine but the people next door had a new group camp that close that had to move their swag . Unfortunately some people have no respect or regard for personal space ! Can imagine would be crazy busy at Christmas/January holidays.

Such a beautiful site with gorgeous views of the mountains and valleys. Site 4 is conveniently located to the toilet and the toilet was lovely and clean. We only stayed a night but would love to come back another time for a longer stay. We got onto the site easily with our AWD and trailer. Thank you Virginia for being such a great host.

Paradise Valley was absolutely amazing. The scenery was beautiful and the camp ground was very plush. The facilities are very clean and well taken care of. The adorable sheep are an added bonus. It is a great camp ground for everyone, no matter the size of the group.

Fruit Trees was a great spot at the Hazelnut Nut Farm - well maintained, close to the creek, large grassy area. Access was a little tricky due to quite a bit of rain - especially towing a caravan. We had a campfire every night - wood is available for purchase onsite 15kg bag for $22 but don’t buy it as an added extra on the Hipcamps site - they charged a $9 service fee! Which really pissed me off. Otherwise, a lovely place to spend a couple of days.

What a great place! So clean, plenty of space for the 9 of us and privacy between camp-sites. The hut is perfect for extra room if needed to prepare food, has a large picnic table to sit & eat or shelter from the rain. With the forest across the road and Port Welshpool a quick bike or car ride away, this camp really has everything. From riding along tracks to walking the beach or long pier, very relaxing for a short or long stay. Hosts are easy to communicate with and give great directions...camp-site is extremely easy to get to with a caravan or trailer. Thanks so much Steff & Dylan, we all appreciated the stay in your little slice of heaven 🤗

A beautiful valley in the high country, with a fast flowing river. A large well mown flat area with a fire pit. Plenty of wildlife; kookaburras, ducks, wallabies and deer. A very quiet and relaxing stay.

Had a fabulous long weekend. The site was large and by the river which was very relaxing. There was a great sized firepit where we enjoyed evening fires. Lisa and Bernie are great hosts. We did a couple of trips into Walhalla and had a great meal at the Erica pub.
