Hedley Gardens and Bush Camp is my oasis situated on four acres just minutes from the beach and the bush, and an easy 20min drive to either Foster or Yarram. Food-producing landscaped gardens with four separate self-contained living areas. Guests are welcome to pick their own salad and herbs and picnic in the gardens! Only seven minutes drive to a quiet beach, boating, fishing and the long jetty. The property is conveniently located within close proximity to Welshpool, Agnes falls, National parks, numerous rivers and a State Forests. There are 4 camp sites available for tents, Vans and RV's, with a toilet for those guests in the cottage, the shed and campers. Power and camp kitchen facilities also available. Plenty of room to play cricket or have a get-together. Whole or part of the property including main residence can be rented to groups and functions are also welcome.

RiverOak is located on the bank of the Thomson River in Heyfield, Gippsland. RiverOak is an exclusive group camping ground. This means we only book to one group at a time and you will have the whole place to yourselves. We can accommodate up to 40 overnight guests in total and can fit 8 caravans at once. You book and pay for the site regardless of your groups size (max 40). We have river frontage suitable for swimming and fishing, two toilets, two hot water showers, campfire pits, play equipment for kids, walk to town, tree swing. The property has a beautiful big oak tree that will make you feel like you're somewhere magical. We are less than 1 kilometre to town. We loved our stay at Leanne’s. The views over the wetlands were unreal, our spot was tucked away so it felt really private and Leanne was really welcoming and brought us everything we would need to get the fire pit going. It was great seeing her beautiful cows grazing and kangaroos on the horizon. There is a block with a toilet and shower in which is a bit of a walk away from the camping spot. It didn’t matter to us that it was a bit of a walk but something to bear in mind if anyone has accessibility concerns. It was one of the highlights of our trip and we would definitely recommend!

4 nights at RiverOak Camping Heyfield - Gippsland Victoria

Firstly it was a pleasure to arrive at this site I. The dark, clear instructions and signage and lovely flat location made for an easy setup. The exquisite oak that gives the site it's name was a joy for the children. Even in the wet the kids were in and out of the low hanging branches. Toilet and shower facilities were spotlessly clean and well positioned. Not to mention hot water, what a pleasure. The trampoline and creek were a hit with the kids and being able to walk into town for the Saturday market was a delight for us all. Clearly a lot of time and effort has gone into making this site perfect for large groups.

Son and I spent 2 nights, lots of green grass and surrounded by tall trees. Farmland on one side and tree line on other makes for lots of serenity. Host was very friendly and provided firewood, drinking water, and had shower and toilet available. Close to Port Welshpool for fishing.

We recently stayed at Bushland Caravan Park, and it was a fantastic camping experience! The park itself is peaceful, well-maintained, and surrounded by beautiful bushland — perfect for a relaxing getaway. A special shoutout goes to Doug, the site manager, who was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. He went out of his way to help us set up our tent (which definitely saved us some time and stress!) and even sorted us out with firewood so we could enjoy a cozy campfire in the evening. His friendly attitude and genuine willingness to help made a big difference and really added to the positive experience. Highly recommend Bushland Caravan Park — especially thanks to Doug’s hospitality and the great atmosphere around the place. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Camping at The Pines on Coos and Ewes Farm was beautiful. We weee able to pick a beautiful spot on the hill overlooking the lakes. Sensational views and sunsets by a crackling fire. The host Leanne was very responsive to any questions and the shower and toilet was clean and nice located inside a shed. We participated in the cow experience (at a cost) which included being driven around on the UTV feeding the higlamders meeting the donkeys and chickens. Peacocks, ducks, and Turkey. Would visit again. Very relaxing and the campsite was far away from other guests.

Tony’s farm is absolutely beautiful! When we arrived, Tony was very welcoming, and once we’d settled in, we had plenty of privacy. There was loads of space for our boys to kick the footy and ride their quad bike. I highly recommend Tony’s farm — it’s flat, completely grassed, and perfect for relaxing. You can light a fire (when restrictions allow) and unwind under the stars. The facilities are great too — there’s a drop toilet, a shelter with running water, and even a hot shower! The site is so accommodating, and we enjoyed every moment of our stay. Thank you, Tony, for welcoming us and introducing us to your beautiful horses, sheep, and of course, the friendly doggos!

U have to meet these girls!! Totally worth doing the feeding time tour.

We stayed only one night, but wished we could have stayed more! Such a beautiful site overlooking the lake, surrounded by Highland Cows and their babies. We opted for the Highland Cow experience in the morning, where we got to feed the 5 adult cows and get close to their babies, meet the younger cows and even brush them. We met all the farm animals and had the most incredible time. We spent 3 weeks travelling around camping in nsw and vic and this is the first story we tell everyone. The hosts were so so lovely and super communicative which made the stay so easy, they made us feel right at home in their beautiful home. The Bathroom was a short walk from camp and was super clean with a hot shower and a flushing toilet. When we find ourselves down in Victoria again we will absolutely stay again

My partner and I had a wonderful time at the Love Shack, one of those places that makes you want to extend your stay and come again. The scenery was beautiful and the amenities were plenty! We camped on the grass with a tent and it rained our last night but the ground stayed solid and not muddy, helpful for when we were packing up. Will definitely return again hopefully with friends this time!
