Weekend Trip to The Love Shack + Extras welcome

Such a beautiful spot! My friend and I had the perfect weekend away, she was very comfortable in the “love shack” and I stayed in my RV out the front. sitting by the fire inside was magical and toasty warm. I happened to meet the lovely hosts as they were heading out and they went out of their way to help me out with an issue I had. I can’t wait to stay again maybe with a big group!

1 night at Coos & Ewes

Coos and Ewes was wonderful! Leanna was very warm and welcoming and introduced us to her very friendly animals. With plenty of space to spread out if you have a more involved camping operation it’s a lovely spot to watch the sun set and look out at the water (after a walk and giving the sheep and cows some attention of course)!

Had an amazing stay at Paradise Valley. Great hosts. Check in was quick and thorough. My 2 night stay was relaxing, watching kangaroos and birds, sunrise and sunsets. Would have loved to stay for a couple more nights.

Beautiful surroundings and great facilities. Seems to be very well run. Great river to swim and kayak in. Lots of magpies in our area. Sheep grazing on the hill. Views are equally gorgeous from the valley or up high on the hill at the entrance. Take some cash if you want to buy from the food vans that sometimes visit- phones and eftpos don’t work down at the campsites. Everyone gets a camp close by the river and a fire pit- trade off is that you may be quite a walk away from the toilets - not too bad if you prepare for it. Some people rode bikes back and forth, occasionally someone would drive up to the bathroom. Others came self contained. Highly recommend a stay.

4 nights at Stratford Caravan Park

We had such a lovely Easter weekend at Stratford Caravan Park. The powered site was ideal for our tent setup/ caravan and the whole place had a calm, welcoming vibe. It was peaceful, family-friendly, and just what we needed to unwind. The kids loved exploring the nature trails and spotting birds and animals, and we all enjoyed evenings around the campfire. One of the highlights was the walking trail along the Avon River, pure bliss! So quiet and scenic, it really made us slow down and soak it all in. It’s also a great spot for short drives and fishing trips. Simple comforts, stunning nature, and genuine relaxation. we’ll definitely be back.

Weekend Trip to Sale Caravan Park

What a beautiful place. Sale is beautiful and so is this caravan park. The owners were absolutely perfect. Putting the customers (us in particular) experience first and foremost. So polite. So relaxed and professional all at the same time. We will definitely be back and we were all sad to leave especially the kids. Other campers were super lovely too. Kids learnt how to ride their bikes on their own and so many other campers were encouraged them and congratulating them when they got the hang of it. A Quiet, relaxing family orientated park with owners you couldn’t wish more of. And they even walked around and handed out Easter eggs for all the kids. Amenities were clean. Showers worked great too. See you soon Sale. Also pets welcomed there and not an ounce of trouble from other dogs.

Weekend Trip to Woodside Gardens

Nice place to camp! We were only there for one night on the way to Wilsons Prom but was a great spot to relax in between. If you’re a light sleeper I’d recommend bringing some earplugs as the other campers were a bit loud but overall a really nice spot! Toilet was nice and clean and having water available was a great bonus.

The Love Shack + Extras welcome

While The Love Shack is a private cabin, perfect for intimate getaways for couples we also offer larger group bookings for extended family / and or friend groups with the need for a normal bedroom/bathroom option. The camping area around the cabin is suitable for tents/vans and can easiliy accommodate larger groups. There are three under cover areas for group camping use :- an outdoor kitchen area with sink, bench space and a full size fridge/freezer, an enclosed pen with an extra BBQ, There is a large covered area with a 100" pull down projector screen (bring your own projector for movie nights and fun). A full set of lawn games is also available. The Shack is a two night minimum stay and sleeps two. Extra guests are welcome in a tents/vans outside at an extra cost per person. The Shack has one bedroom with linen available as an extra, a small open plan kitchen with fridge, kettle and mini cooker. The living room features a little combustion woodfire heater. Camping enthusiasts can enjoy a level, grassy site with spectacular views across the Tarra River to the forest, or behind you across the paddocks. We are only 3 kms away from the Tarra Bulga National Park and 10 kms from the historic town of Yarram if you need any supplies. Woodside Beach, Welshpool and Port Albert are within easy reach too.

The Park is set on 174 acres of peaceful bushland, including Banksia, Red Gum, White Gum, and ancient River Gum forest. The Park offers both powered and unpowered sites, a communal lounge, separate accommodation, modern toilet facilities, sheltered BBQs as well as a camp kitchen. Guests must be mostly self contained and must take all waste/rubbish with them on departure. There is also plenty of wood around the place that you are welcome to pick up. A small saw is recommended to cut up some of the bigger pieces. The township of Woodside is just up the road has a service station/Post office/shop. 15 minutes to township of Yarram and 35mins to Sale city. Entrance to our property is off Stringy Bark Lane. It has an attached shower and toilet. There are also many camp sites available for tents, Vans and RV's, with a toilet for those guests in the cottage, the shed and campers. Power and camp kitchen facilities also available. Plenty of room to play cricket or have a get-together.
