This is a great place to unwind and forget about life for a while . It is easy to reach and for those that are self contained it is easy to unwind. Definitely will be going back at some stage.

Great campsite with hot showers, simple sink area for washing dishes, lovely pool under shaded trees and coffee cart comes most mornings. New powered sites are good very very new so just need a bit of compacting of ground needed.

We had a great time at site 4 and the views were just stunning! Sunrises are a must watch. Plenty of amenities with a water tank and a few toilets available.

Daniel sent a message a few days ahead of the trip which proved to be really helpful for some of the other campers joining us.
The site itself was well kept and easily fit our two tents and two swags. The firepit area was well maintained, there was plenty of space to setup and the firewood purchased/provided was great for burning.

Campsite 3 was a fantastic spot—conveniently located near the toilet facilities and offering stunning views. It was the perfect place to unwind and truly disconnect, especially with no mobile reception. From the site, we could see cows grazing peacefully, all while enjoying the fresh country air.
The firewood bundle provided was generous and lasted us two nights, which was a pleasant surprise.
The only minor drawback was the proximity to the road—about 200 to 300 meters away—so we could frequently hear vehicles passing by.
Overall, we were very happy with the campsite and would definitely recommend it for a peaceful getaway.

Peaceful and Beautiful Spot for Camping Lovers! ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆
We recently camped at Kookaburra Ridge Farm Camp Site One – Privacy, and it was a truly wonderful experience! If you’re someone who enjoys peace, quiet, and being surrounded by nature, this spot is absolutely perfect. The scenery was stunning, and the sense of privacy made it feel like a hidden gem. Our group had a great time and really enjoyed every bit of our stay.
However, there were a few things that could be improved. The toilet facility was nearly full when we arrived, which was a bit of a challenge for our group of six staying for two nights and three days. We were also told that there would be portable, drinkable water available, but we found only a small amount of rainwater that wasn’t suitable for drinking — so definitely recommend bringing your own supply.
Another minor issue was that we had to clean up lamb droppings around the campsite before setting up, but once that was done, everything else went smoothly.
Despite these small setbacks, the overall atmosphere and natural beauty of the campsite made up for it. We would love to come back again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape into nature!

Great place to camp at. Nice views. Bit of a slope on some parts. A couple of rope swings for the kids to play on. Not too far from Melbourne.
Went to the Tarra-Bulga national park which is beautiful and not too far away for a short hike.

Pete's place was really wonderful and peaceful. Exactly what we were after to break off our crazy stress from our lives in the city for a few days.
If you are lucky you will see a man harvesting the honey bee hives at the farm and you will be able to buy delicious honey. This man is not Pete, it is someone else that lives in Stratford and just comes to harvest the honey bee hives
The description says potable water available. Well yes water is available at the little house next to the camp site but certainly not potable. It was good only for a camp shower or cleaning the dishes

We had a family of 12 people and 3 dogs go and stay 3 nights and we had just the best time over Easter! We woke up with gorgeous views of the sunrise and lovely bird songs, we had wonderful weather and while all 5 campsites were booked and busy, it wasn’t noisy. We had plenty of privacy and we loved the little picnic table that was on our site. The toilets were clean and clear instructions are everywhere on how to keep them fresh for everyone. We enjoyed exploring the land and while we didn’t see any animals, it was lovely to see some mushrooms. Plenty of firewood to collect and the $20 of firewood that we purchased was a huge amount and definitely worth the money! Whilst we were on a hill and fell off our chairs a few times, a great flat spot was available for the caravan.
We cannot thank Daniel enough for letting us enjoy his land and we highly recommend staying here!

Myself, my partner and our two friends stayed at Dan and Rina’s Kookaburra Ridge Farm over the Easter weekend and had an amazing time! The campsites are extremely spacious and included a fire pit, which we spent a lot of time around. Campsites and toilets were very clean. Dan was very approachable and friendly and recommended us to some great fishing and hiking spots that weren’t too far from camp! Very peaceful and relaxing weekend 😊😊 Thanks again! We have already recommended Kookaburra Ridge Farm to many people!

Decent sized space, plenty of green grass. Access to toilets was great. On a little bit of a hill but we managed fine with 5 tents and a gazebo. Daniel was responsive and came to see how we were all travelling!! Would definitely recommend for small or big groups.

This is our new favorite campsite. Site one is a dream! Absolutely beautiful and secluded spot, felt so private. Aside from the driveway in it's fully fenced, so our dogs were able to roam most of the time!

We booked site #1 and really enjoyed its privacy — such a nice place to stay. We ordered firewood for two nights, but the host provided so much that we were able to light a campfire in the mornings too, which made the chilly air much more comfortable. Our little one loved the zip line! We tried fishing in the pond, but unfortunately had no luck. We’d definitely stay here again.

I would highly recommend this campsite. The views are magnificent. The campsite are clean. They have a compost toilet that don't smell unlike the drop toilet in other campsite. And the host are very accommodating, helpful and friendly.

We had a wonderful few days at Kookaburra Ridge. This was our second visit.
The place is lovely and peaceful and we enjoy watching the sheep. Having the loo is a great bonus.
Communication is very prompt with Daniel too.
