Woodside Gardens offers private campsites for guests to choose from, located among natural bush of tea tree and gum trees.
Guests must be mostly self contained and must take all waste/rubbish with them on departure. We have a toilet available for our campers and an outdoor solar shower. Potable water as well. Please note that we are on tank water and please be careful to turn taps off and follow the instructions we have near each of the water sources.
Fires are allowed as long as the fire ban guidelines are followed. No ground fires allowed. We have fire pits available for you to use free of charge or bring your own. There is also plenty of wood around the place that you are welcome to pick up. But we recommended you bring some of the bigger logs with you.
Just a 5 minute drive to the magnificent 90 mile beach and plenty of bush tracks to go walking or bike riding.
The township of Woodside is just up the road has a service station/Post office/shop. 15 minutes to township of Yarram and 35mins to Sale city.
Given we are a small campground with neighbours nearby we ask that all campers please be considerate of them and their fellow campers. If you like to party then this is not the place for you.

Great quiet area with beautiful views. Be in the country but close to town and all the amenities. Staying on a small orchard farmlet. Easy access to Cafes and Restaurants, wineries and boutique breweries, Prom Country Cheese, numerous Art and Craft galleries, Coal Creek Historical Township, local Botanical Gardens, or explore along the Great Southern Rail Trail. We are located close to beaches and the Strezlecki Ranges. There are numerous Markets each and every weekend. Or do a Pottery class or Painting class locally.Toilet and shower amenities available with access to drinking water and rubbish facilities.Enjoy the green, rolling hills with soft, lush grass, the misty mornings and the fragrance of blooming flowers on the trees in the orchard. There's lots of wildlife including wallabies and echidnas.

We had a lovely overnight stay at Kate’s. After trying and failing to get a last minute spot in a nearby public campground we were able to snag a spot at Kate’s place.
We were very grateful for the peace and serenity and were even treated to a tour of the animals, including an experience with a highland cow!
Thanks for accomodating us at short notice, we had a much better experience for it.

We had a really great stay at this campsite and spent two nights here. It was cosy, very clean, and well looked after. Our spot was spacious with plenty of room, and we really appreciated the privacy.
Kate and her family were amazing hosts. They were very helpful and made sure we felt comfortable throughout our stay.
Check-in and check-out were both very smooth and easy.
We would definitely come back again!

My stay at Merrimans Creek Seclusion was truly out of this world. The location is spotless, beautifully maintained, and incredibly peaceful. The campsite itself is something special — surrounded by the creek, with crystal clear water at the perfect temperature, it felt like a hidden paradise.
Sam was a fantastic host. He was friendly, helpful, and made sure we had all the information we needed ahead of time, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free.
I honestly can’t wait to come back to this magical place next year. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and relaxing escape.

Absolutely loved my mini getaway at Micks farm. Property difficult to locate with directions provided by Hipcamp. Was able to find it relatively easily using directions provided in earlier reviews. 2 gravel roads leading down to the camping area, one smooth but quite steep, the other with some larger ruts. No issues getting in or out towing my camper trailer in 4WD. Could be an issue after heavy rain. Well maintained with plenty of flat land to set up on. So peaceful you wouldn’t think there are properties only a short distance away. My 2 dogs had an absolute blast exploring the property. Large section of the creek is shallow which was perfect for my dogs who aren’t confident swimmers to cool off. Fire pits available but need to BYO firewood. Nil firewood available on site as older reviews suggested. Will definitely be back in the future

This is a great little space with several private sites and fire pits around for everyone to find their own space. We've been three times now and always enjoy it. Short drive to the beach and the pub is in walking distance. There are horses, sheep, parrots, lizards, and echidnas around. The toilet is well kept and there is an outdoor shower available now as well! We didn't expect so weren't prepared to use it, but may next time if it's warm enough.
