This acreage was historically a larger soldiers settlements property comprising a dairy, piggery and wool farming. The quality of the land hasn't changed with most of the region's farmland in use, so this is a cool place to stay in the Macedon Ranges.
Currently home to our family, the property is also visited by many native Australian birdlife species, many marsupials including kangaroos, echidna, possums and even a koala.
With close proximity to coffee shops and local stores of Romsey and Lancefield Providore, you have only a few minutes to drive to stock up on local produce.
Walking the trails around Hanging Rock is a 10-minute drive and Mt Macedon lookout 15min.

Everything is as described, flat site with shade if required. Waterhole is amazing, it was hot so well needed. Lucy was a delight and very welcoming, appreciated the updates on smokeshaze from distant fires.
Wouldn't recommend towing out of the sites without a 4x4,.
Overall very pleased with our stay and would certainly recommend.

Had a great time camping on the top paddock. Views were breathtaking and the location of the paddock itself was very central to all the fun things that are on offer on Phillip Island. Will be back sometime!

This is one of those camping spots that quietly ticks all the boxes. Tucked away enough to feel peaceful and remote, but still easy to access, it’s ideal for anyone wanting to properly switch off for a few days.
The ground is nice and flat for tents, and there’s a great mix of shade during the day and open sky at night—perfect for stargazing by the fire.
Clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by nature, this is a campsite you leave already planning your return visit.

Lovely property ! Richie was great in accomodating us, even when we turned up a day early for our booking (my bad!). Each group had an entire paddock to themself which made it a relaxing experience. We headed to the winery next door for an afternoon pizza and wine which was lovely.
Would definitely stay again!
