There are separate campsites available. Rodborough Vale is 600 acres with a combination of creek flats, native bushland and rocky volcanic outcrops. A working sheep property with some cropping, It is home to the well known Rodvale Border Leicester Stud. Farming in harmony with the native fauna and flora, guests may be able to spot many native species including platypus, wedge tail eagles, kookaburra and many more. Fronting Deep Creek, guests have access to fishing or just sit and listen to the crystal clear water meandering past the campsites. The farm borders Tullaroop Reservoir which is only a ten minute walk from most campsites, there you can find public toilets and picnic areas it is well known for its fly fishing for trout. The boat ramp is around 400m from the front gate and guests are welcome to leave vehicles and trailers on the property for convenience. Note : The reservoir is currently only open to electric powered boats and canoes. Dogs are welcome but must be very well behaved around sheep. Flushing toilet available at the shearing shed. Good access for caravans and large RV's. Local attractions are the historic towns of Maldon, Clunes, Avoca and Dunolly all part of the Central Goldfields. Pyrenees Wine region is a short drive away.

( Aug - Jan) Backing onto the national park and walking tracks. Jehoshaphat Gully, Shelley Harris Track, Mt Jerusalem Track. Walking distance to Kinglake historic walk, Cookson Hill Track, Mt Everard Track, Bollygum Park. Visit Mason Falls Waterfall, 12-minute drive to Kinglake West. We have 2 dogs, 6 pet sheep and 4 lambs, 2 blue tongue lizards The farming area is completely fenced in, this is to keep the deer out, but you can venture out onto the property bush land with the correct map and navigation equipment. Our walk the neighboring farm (105 acres) Eagles, cockatoos, black cockatoos, kookaburras, magpies, rosellas, king parrots, Gang-gang cockatoo, honey eaters can be spotted most days and lyrebirds if you’re keen to go looking. Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. Six excellent hideaway Camping sites to choose from. Some close to the water. Large sites which can handle 40 campers per site. Good areas of bushland and also a working sheep farm. Very private areas for camping. Campfires available but only in months when fire restrictions are not in force. A wide range of birdlife and duck life, wildlife including kangaroos, possums, echidnas. In wet weather you may need a 4 wheel drive vechile to access some of the sites. You will need to bring all your camping gear as these are tent and vechile sites only. We dont have any huts at this stage. 30 minute drive to Ballarat, 45 Min Geelong, 2 minutes drive to the village of Elaine and The Farmgate Shop which is open 7 days a week with a full range of all groceries, bbq needs, drinks, snacks, etc. 5 minutes to dollys creek, 5 minutes to Mt Doran/Lal Lal, 10 minutes to Meredith. Its a hidden gem. We are happy to take your booking. Sorry strictly no dogs allowed.

Our walk the neighboring farm (105 acres) Eagles, cockatoos, black cockatoos, kookaburras, magpies, rosellas, king parrots, Gang-gang cockatoo, honey eaters can be spotted most days and lyrebirds if you’re keen to go looking. Small playground with swings, slide, monkey bars and sandpit. Taxi service - The Graceful-Goat to get you around to the local eats and wineries. The Kinglake market is on the 4th Sunday of each month 10-2pm - Except December which is the Sunday before Christmas - twilight 2-7pm - No market in January. The St. Andrews market is every Saturday, 9am to 1pm just 12 minutes down the mountain. Our property, "Seven Hills Tallarook", sits high above Tallarook with deep valleys and high peaks, just over one hour North of Melbourne's CBD. The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. A wide range of birdlife and duck life, wildlife including kangaroos, possums, echidnas. In wet weather you may need a 4 wheel drive vechile to access some of the sites. You will need to bring all your camping gear as these are tent and vechile sites only. We dont have any huts at this stage. 30 minute drive to Ballarat, 45 Min Geelong, 2 minutes drive to the village of Elaine and The Farmgate Shop which is open 7 days a week with a full range of all groceries, bbq needs, drinks, snacks, etc. 5 minutes to dollys creek, 5 minutes to Mt Doran/Lal Lal, 10 minutes to Meredith. This Hipcamp is amazing. There was so much for the kids to explore and the views were great. Sites were well spaced and we even though site 3 was quite sloped, there is a flat enough spot that we managed to get the caravan level with our ramps. The instructions and communication were helpful and we thought it was lovely that Nathan came to check on us after a short but quite wild storm blew through. So much to do in the area too.

The Hipcamp “best in vic” contender and multiple positive reviews are deserved. This slice of paradise is near Melbourne, quiet, peaceful and stunning. Topping it off is the reasonable prices and wonderfully accomodating owners. Sites 1-3 are in a paddock near the games and bbq rotunda, the rest are dotted around the property. All have toilet facilities. We were on site 5 and had the most restful weekend in a long time. Broadford and Yea are a short drive away but I would happily spend days at camp enjoying the bush, river and local bird life. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Kim and Glens property is amazing just 1.5 hours from Melbourne makes it perfect for a long weekend away. The farm is immaculately kept with sensational green paddocks in front of the pretty creak perfect for a quick dip, our oodles loved it. Along with the great views and location the facilities are great with plenty of toilets, bbq/fire pits and large open pavilions if the weather is a little grey. I can’t recommend this place enough it’s our 3rd Hipcamp I would say it’s been the best so far.

Lovely quiet spot, secluded but with a dam, and a winter running creek. Sound of sheep and magpies and little else. Mark let us use the tin shed and we slept in there instead of erecting a tent. Plenty of wood around for a fire. Not too distant from Meredith and the Brisbane Ranges.

We loved Nathan's block. The space between sites meant there was plenty of space for the kids to explore the bush, and there was always a different setting for their games. The fresh eggs made for the best lunch and the clear skies gave us perfect views of the stars under a bright moon - We would definitely look to come back. Not sure if it was just the season, but there were a lot of flies around, perhaps we should have expected this for a farm but it's not enough for us to be put off!

The host Mark was lovely, I can't recommend this camp highly enough! We can't wait to return for hopefully a longer stay.

Excellent Trout Fishing in large dams on property. Rainbow and Brown trout stocked in both dams. Good sized fish. Old , Rustic Bush Hut at main campsite which has verandah, wooden floor, and can be used for sleeping in or as general purpose area. Also eels in a another couple of dams on property, so it certainly has something for all anglers. 550 acre property which has 3 different seasonal creeks flowing through it. Six excellent hideaway Camping sites to choose from. Some close to the water. Large sites which can handle 40 campers per site. Good areas of bushland and also a working sheep farm. Very private areas for camping. Campfires available but only in months when fire restrictions are not in force. A wide range of birdlife and duck life, wildlife including kangaroos, possums, echidnas. In wet weather you may need a 4 wheel drive vechile to access some of the sites. You will need to bring all your camping gear as these are tent and vechile sites only. We dont have any huts at this stage. 30 minute drive to Ballarat, 45 Min Geelong, 2 minutes drive to the village of Elaine and The Farmgate Shop which is open 7 days a week with a full range of all groceries, bbq needs, drinks, snacks, etc. 5 minutes to dollys creek, 5 minutes to Mt Doran/Lal Lal, 10 minutes to Meredith.
