Unfortunately due to the weather our stay was not great. However the view was amazing and would look to return with favourable weather
Back again for my second visit, but this time I stayed on Site 2 for a relaxing solo camping trip over the long weekend.
The host is incredibly kind and responsive both before and during your stay, which makes everything nice and easy. The views are amazing, and the site is quiet, peaceful and really enjoyable. I’d definitely stay here again, especially during peak times when you just want to escape and hide away for a few days.
A few things to keep in mind for anyone coming in a 2WD:
• The entrance to the site is a bit of a tight squeeze. I managed it in my i30 wagon 2WD, but it’s something to be aware of.
• The site is very grassy, so you may hear some grass brushing underneath the car, but I had no issues getting through.
• There are quite a few bees around because of all the flowers. They weren’t a problem for me, but if you’re someone who reacts to stings, it’s worth keeping your usual medication/antihistamines handy just in case.
• After heavy rain, getting back up the hill in a 2WD can be tricky. It took me a few attempts, and I ended up using some mats as traction boards to help get up.
• Being right up on the mountain, it can also get quite windy, so definitely keep that in mind when setting up.
None of these are negatives about the site itself just things I think are worth knowing before you arrive, especially if you’re camping in a 2WD.
Overall, another great stay and I’d happily come back again.
Absolutely incredible view! Sunset was magic. Ethan was a legend - Was more worried about my car and camper than I was.
So beautiful. Think my photo says it all really. Great spot to light a fire and relax. The lambs are so cute! Didn’t get a good pic of them unfortunately.

Stayed 3 nights to explore the local area, Rail trail rides, wineries full of memorabilia, local pub at Tallarok which had great food & hospitality. Even DFO Melbourne!
Views were breathtaking! Would definitely stay again.

Great spot, easy to get to - just off the Hume but not so close to the highway for noise to be a bother. Amazing view of the surrounding landscape and it's even better at dusk.
A 10 min drive into the middle of town where there's everything you need.
Have visited this spot twice and will definitely be considering it again in the future when we want a couple of nights away but want something relatively close, easy, and best of all calmingly beautiful.
For the price what the hell... the view is amazing 100% coming back here was quite peaceful and easy to get to no matter if it's two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. Only thing I would note as you're on the top of a Little Mountain just prepared for wind and have the gear that will hold up against the wind and cooking in the wind. But other than that you could not ask for a better spot.

Absolutely gorgeous views! A very easy drive into the town of Broadford....enjoyed lunch and excellent coffee at Country Soul Cafe, and the bakery next to IGA supermarket....(If you eat gluten-free, the bakery had some GF veggie pies, yum!) Hiked to top of Mt Piper, saw an echidna. The camp site was very peaceful, and we watched kangaroos in the paddocks each evening. We loved our stay. We decided to leave a tiny bit earlier than planned due to high winds (to be expected on top of a hill), so the only thing is to keep an eye on the weather during your stay.

You can hear the highway but still a super nice spot with a great view! 100% would recommend
Great spot, fantastic view. My son and I loved it, we plan to come again, of the 15 acres Ethan has, he has selected the finest of those 15 acres to utilise for our benefit to enjoy. Matters not what season you come, it’s worth the time to park up for a few days relax and unwind. Thank you Ethan for providing a small patch of land for us to escape the rat race to take time out, relax and reflect.
If you’re chasing peace, privacy, and that feeling of being completely off-grid without actually roughing it, this place nails it. Super quiet, surrounded by nature, and with plenty of space to spread out and unwind — exactly what we needed.
Awesome spot. Really great outlook and a legend owner who pointed us in the right direction as we arrived after dark. Reasonably windy, as to be expected for winter but nothing an experienced camper can’t handle and totally worth it for the stunning picturesque view.
Also worth noting the host provided a campfire which was such an unexpected bonus, definitely helped beat the cold.
Would 100% recommend as well as stay again

When I say that this campsite was one of the best spots I’ve ever camped on I mean it!! It was just stunning! The views were to die for. We stayed in a tent for 2 nights and were blessed with beautiful weather. The added bonus was a visit from the friendly sheep. Our host Ethan was very friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The views are truely beautiful. Hills, trees and farmland- very relaxing. The fact that there is only 1 site is another positive. I love camping where i don't have to listen to other peoples music or noise. There were lots of kangaroos which was also lovely to see. The only down side is the dirt and dust. As this property is used for sheep, the ground is all dirt and any wind just blows it in your face. The road behind is also dirt, so every passing car also blows a dust cloud over you. We camped there for 2 days. The first day was very still, and therefore not a problem. Unfortunately the 2nd day was windy which made it impossible to have a fire, and even eating was a challenge without getting a mouthful of dust too.

Stunning view, the pictures do not do it justice! Arrived just as the sun was setting and it is so beautiful there! Also quite private which is nice.
